To the Magus, it was more of a compliment than an insult, which Gideon didn't reciprocate

As if Gideon got to his nerves, the Dark Magus suddenly strike something in Gideon's way

It was fast, but Gideon had a lot of experience battling, to which that kind of thing can't faze him

The Light Magus approached his comrade in a teasing way

Surprisingly, Hikari didn't even flinch, and replied back with confidence to Gideon

"We will fight like how we normally would"

Gideon got taken aback, but then realized who he was talking to

"Of course...how could I forget? You of all people don't even need our Catalyst to begin with..."

Gideon said, pausing for a second, then continuing his statement

A few moments later, the Catalyst stopped glowing, there were no noticeable changes from the Magus themselves, but Hikari and Gideon knew that they were not like what they used to be earlier...

The Light Magus said, as he looked once again to the two opponents

"Celebrate their last moments that is!"

The tension between them got deeper, the Magus' auras got more heavier. Gideon felt the pressure, but Hikari was standing bravely against it

"AAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHH!"

"What now?!"

"HE...HE DOESN'T EVEN REACT TO ANYTHING WE'VE DONE JUST NOW!"

The Light Magus pointed at Hikari

"And that made you angry?"

"THEY SHOULD BE CONFUSED! PUZZLED! AGITATED! YET HE HASN'T SHOWN ANY OF THOSE THINGS! AM I A FAILURE AS AN ENTERTAINER?!"

As if the Dark Magus had enough, he smacked the Light Magus' head as hard as he could

All of them looked above, only to see the 4 other Magus heading towards their location, with the other 4 pillars that was chasing them down

Hikari felt a quick relief to see the pillars in a decent condition

"It was necessary. These two were bad news"

The Dark Magus referred to Hikari and Gideon, to which the Wind Magus brushed off

"Huh?! You're telling me that this handsome guy, and this old man were beating your assess?!"

"You wouldn't use the Catalyst if you weren't having a hard time!"

While the six Magus we're talking, the Pillars also had a meeting of their own. Ignis was the first one to approach and ask Hikari

Ignis tried to break through with his spear, but to no avail. It was then that his spear started to lose its effectiveness

Aeris said, as she tried to cut it down using her wind magic...

All Magus laugh, while the Light Magus pointed out the obvious

"The Catalyst of Mana, which is said to expand our Mana capacity to an absurd level, has another mechanism to it! While we gain the benefits, you weaklings also suffer the disadvantages! Your Mana capacity lessens!"

The Light Magus turned his attention to Hikari

He said, as he tried to attack the light with his spell...

...But to his surprise, the light outshined the darkness

With the Six Magus completely blinded by the light, it was enough time for Hikari and the others to do their next course of action...

Right after the light subsided, the scene can be seen once again

The Dark Magus refrained from talking to the Light Magus right after that statement

The two magus knew that even if the five of them fought their leader, they wouldn't stand a chance. Hence why they couldn't do anything but endure their leader's actions
