Steal The Heroes’ Harems

59. Trouble

"Hey pretty ladies, rather than teach these useless soldiers, why not you come and help me out instead!" The adventurers laughed. They were paid by Edmund to harass the nun, Nysta. They didn't know where the money came from, but it was good enough that they didn't mind it. "I could use some private prayers of my own!"

As long nothing actually happened, the adventurers wouldn't get in trouble. Adventurers' and their foul, depraved mouths have been a thing since time immemorial.

Nysta rolled her eyes and ignored them.

"I bet the hero sleeps with her every night. Check out those massive milkers. If I'm the hero I'd be sucking them off like a baby!" The adventurers taunted, and annoyingly, the injured soldiers in the temple laughed at the joke. Nysta frowned, but this was not the first time someone sexually harassed her and teased her on her assets. She had seen the type a lot, and so she ignored them.

Another adventurer laughed. "The things I'll do to that nun. I bet she's holy in the streets, but unholy in the sheets!"

"Oh god that's such a bad one!" The adventurer said. "I bet that's gonna get the nun to whip you in punishment!"

"OOOH." The third adventurer chuckled. "I bet $10 she's the type that'll tie you up and give you a personal confession."

Nysta squirmed, but she was largely unaffected. Not yet, anyway. Edmund watched and frowned too. Nysta's ability to shrug off the adventurers' meant he needed to hire someone a little more aggressive. Adventurers don't mind just saying nasty things, but not all were willing to go as far as assault, because Nysta was still a nun, and the temple's influence was fairly powerful.

He needed to change the strategy. It was good to just keep the adventurers' giving her pressure.

Edmund moved to spy on Kiara, Raven and Hannah. The three were training the soldiers, and honestly they were far too competent compared to the disinterested soldiers. Most soldiers are paid a basic salary, and they get some benefits, but ultimately the reason they fought was to save their own lives. The training would help them survive, but as with most mortals, mortals are often fond of ignoring life-saving abilities until it's too late.

It was the same with soldiers. The war with the demons was something that seemed remote, even if it wasn't. Even if there was news everyone, most people were just resistant to change.

So, even when the three heroines tried to get the men to train, and all that, progress was slow. Only a few showed an interest in training.

Edmund then checked on Wynn. She worked mostly alone on the spell formations and restoring them required her to understand what sort of magic was used in the first place. Most fortresses, like the one here, made special magical formations that could be activated in the event of emergencies.

They were a relic of a much older era, when brutal wars between nations and lords were commonplace. Many of these spell formations have fallen into disrepair, as time gradually caused them to decay and lose power.

Wynn worked alone, and he observed her making runic fluids meant to repair the formations. Each formation had a slightly different mixture, different mixtures cause different results. Some of them also had mana stores that could be replenished. Most of these came with mana-absorbing formations, such that ambient mana could naturally restore the formation's power. But in times of war, manual replenishment was necessary.

Wynn cursed as she painted on one of the formations. "Humans are so bad at maintenance."

Edmund observed her a little bit more, as she continued to work on the various runic fluids. It was a long process and drained her of magic. As a result, she would take a break every few hours, leaving some of the equipment at the site, protected by a simple magic barrier.

She was away for a toilet break.

In the form of a magical rat, he moved closer to the equipment and wondered whether he could sabotage her equipment. He approached the mana stones, and pondered whether he wanted to contaminate it with demonic mana, but decided against it. That wouldn't work very well. Instead, his attention was drawn to the different types of runic fluids used to paint the magical formations.

He knew exactly what he could do, but first, he needed to pay closer attention to how she worked. Edmund spent another day watching Wynn as she painted the runic formations. She would frequently dip her fingers into the paint, just to get a sense of the magical energies. Then, she would paint the formations with her fingers.

So, the next day when she walked away for her usual toilet break, he attacked. He took out his stored bottles of his magical demonic semen and mixed them into the runic liquids. And waited.

Wynn returned and got back to work, and as expected, she dipped her fingers into the fluids containing his magic cum. As the demon lord of lust, his cum was laced with aphrodisiacs and stimulants.

Yet, Wynn didn't flinch. She touched it, and painted.

Edmund mentally frowned. Why did she look as if she's unaffected?

He continued to observe as Wynn continued to use the cum-laced fluids like it was normal. Why wasn't it working? She didn't appear flushed, instead she just looked tired.

Edmund trailed her back to her room, and that was when he realized she was just merely holding it in. She went for a shower immediately, barely talking to the other members of her party. There, Edmund, through the gaps in the roof, found her masturbating to herself when she cleaned.

She tapped her face. "It is unbecoming for a mage to be thinking of dirty things." She spoke to herself as her fingers touched herself. "-just-"

What sort of magic was she good at? Edmund recalled, from the game, that Wynn was a war mage. Ice magic and dragon-origin magic was where she had her strengths. At least now he knew he could make her horny. The question was, how did it want to go about 'breaking' her?

Or perhaps- he needed some way to make her feel betrayed by the hero. Could he fake-

Wait.

He could transform into a hero-lookalike. He's a demon lord. He could set up a situation where he engaged in something naughty with one of the other heroines. Something where Wynn could visibly notice. No. If he could fake favoritism, he could con the heroine's into being suspicious of each other! He could engineer it such that one of the heroines would be ejected from the group, and that heroine would be easy pickings with his resources!
