Superman’s Saiyan little brother

Chapter 132: The Kidnapped Spider

"What's going on?" Kara noticed Robert suddenly stopping and, puzzled, turned to follow his gaze towards Peter Parker.

"Wow!" Peter Parker shrieked and leapt up from the wall again, bouncing high and flipping over the school wall to land inside.

Clearly, Peter was startled again, and as Robert and Kara's eyes fell on him, the sense of crisis intensified, making him feel extremely uncomfortable.

"It seems like he suddenly gained superpowers, and it looks like he hasn't mastered them yet..." Robert explained in a low voice as he walked towards Peter.

"Gained superpowers? Is it related to spells?" Kara asked curiously, her eyes sparkling.

"I don't think so. But let's ask him..." Robert muttered as he approached Peter.

"Wait! Don't come any closer!" Peter saw Robert and Kara approaching and felt his heartbeat accelerate, his body involuntarily stepping back as he shouted at them.

"Um... It seems like he might have the ability to sense strong individuals or dangers?" Robert raised an eyebrow and then concealed his aura completely before asking Peter, "How about now? Can you still feel any pressure from me?"

"Phew!" Peter sighed in relief, though his body still trembled slightly. However, this time his fear had shifted from both Robert and Kara to just Kara. Realizing something, Peter quickly added, "Kara, it's better if you stay away. I'm afraid I might jump again."

"Kara, why don't you go to the classroom first? I'll take him outside to see what's going on. He can't attend class like this," Robert suggested to Kara.

Regrettably, Kara and Clark, although powerful, had their own energies almost replacing their auras, meaning they could disguise as normal humans but had difficulty lowering their energy to normal levels, at least for now.

And clearly, Peter's newly awakened ability to sense strong forces or crises was somewhat similar to sensing energy. Until Peter could control his powers, having individuals like Kara and Clark near him would make it impossible for him to remain calm.

"Alright!" Kara pouted slightly, somewhat reluctantly, but eventually agreed and headed towards the classroom.

"Phew!" With Kara's departure, Peter finally exhaled a deep breath, his body stopped trembling, and the intense sense of crisis dissipated.

But Peter wasn't at ease yet because he still didn't understand what he had experienced, and why this couple he envied appeared so terrifying, making him so afraid.

"Let's go! You probably don't want too many people to notice this, right?" Robert suggested, looking at the silent Peter.

"Oh... Oh!" Peter snapped out of it and nodded subconsciously, then followed Robert out of the school. But as they walked, Peter suddenly remembered something and looked worriedly at Robert, "Um, will Kara explain our absence to the teacher?"

"Yes, she'll talk to Miss Selena about it," Robert nodded, reassuring Peter, "Can you tell me what happened after you went home yesterday? I remember you didn't react like this when I saw you yesterday. You must have gained these abilities after school, right?"

"To be honest, I don't even know what happened. I woke up this morning and found my vision had improved. Then I hurried to school and ran into you guys, and it turned out like this..." Peter scratched his head, his face filled with confusion. Suddenly, he remembered something, "Wait! I was bitten by a spider when I got home yesterday, and then I felt very sleepy..."

"Bitten by a spider?" Robert raised an eyebrow, looking at Peter up and down, then asked, "Um... can you spit webs?"

"Spit webs?" Peter looked at Robert perplexedly, "I was bitten by a spider, not turned into one. How could I spit webs?"

"Never mind, we'll test it out in a bit," Robert waved his hand dismissively and led Peter to a wilderness area they usually passed through on their way to and from school.

As they walked, Peter grew increasingly alarmed, suspecting that Robert had lured him here to do something sinister, so he kept a wary eye on the surroundings, ready to escape.

"Come on, let's try this out," Robert said, looking expectantly at Peter when he regretted following him to such a place.

"How do we try this?" Peter instinctively stepped back, his voice hesitating.

"Throw a punch at me," Robert gestured to Peter with a wave of his hand, smiling.

"Ah!" Peter froze, staring at Robert, unsure what to say.

With a 'swish!', seeing Peter frozen in place, Robert released a bit of his energy, and Peter immediately jumped up and ran to the side.

But Peter stopped halfway and then ran in another direction, his sense of crisis guiding his body to a safer spot.

Unfortunately, his new escape route wasn't safe for long, and soon, Peter's body

 uncontrollably changed direction again.

Robert didn't actually chase after Peter; he only used his energy to simulate an afterimage punch, appearing on Peter's escape route, causing Peter to constantly change directions.

"Hmm, it looks like his sensing ability is quite strong. I'm not sure if he senses specific energies or potential dangers," Robert mused as he watched Peter darting around.

"Hey, hey, hey! Robert, stop it! I can't take this anymore!" At that moment, Peter's slightly frantic voice rang out. The omnipresent sense of crisis made him uncomfortable, especially since there were no walls to climb in the wilderness.

"Come on, give me your strongest punch!" Robert appeared in front of Peter with a smile as he finished speaking.

"Yah!" Peter yelled, swinging his fist towards Robert.
