Superman’s Saiyan little brother

Chapter 151: Kara’s Concession

Upon hearing Lana's words, Kara's expression darkened as she stared at her, causing the atmosphere around them to instantly freeze. Peter Parker was the first to sense the danger and instinctively stepped back.

But Pietro and Barry Allen moved faster than him. Even though their sense of danger was slightly delayed, their speed was not, and they quickly retreated to a safe distance.

"It's going to start, it's going to start!" Pietro, Barry Allen, and Peter Parker quickly huddled together, communicated through looks, and then stared straight at Kara and Lana.

Even Pietro, Lana's brother, seemed eager to watch the unfolding scene, as such spectacles were rare to witness.

"Fine! Then, keep these talismans with you. If you encounter the shadow ninjas, I hope you won't regret it..." What Peter Parker, the trio, and Lana did not expect was that Kara, usually so forceful, chose to back down this time. She glanced at the sleeping Robert, then turned to Lana and spoke.

After all, Kara was already somewhat worried about Robert's injuries and wanted to take him home quickly. Since they were reluctant to hand over the talisman, she decided to leave the chicken talisman with Lana.

"Ah?" Lana was momentarily stunned upon hearing Kara's words, then looked at her somewhat bewildered. Kara didn't explain much further. Dealing with the shadow ninjas had already taken up too much time, and Kara wanted to return home quickly so Robert could rest.

Therefore, without further explanation, Kara carried Robert and flew towards the farm, leaving Lana and the others dumbfounded.

"Not... they just left? Then... what about these talismans?" Barry Allen dumbly looked at the talisman in his hand, somewhat baffled.

"Who am I to ask? But no worries, the talisman is with you now, so it's up to you to deal with it... Uh, that seems not quite right. Lana has another talisman. If the shadow ninjas come again, it feels like it won't make any difference!" Pietro shrugged involuntarily, then suddenly looked at Lana helplessly and said.

"Why didn't you just let her take the talisman? Why be so stubborn? Now, what do we do if the shadow ninjas come to attack us?"

"How was I supposed to know she would leave so decisively? I thought she insisted on taking the talisman." Lana pouted, somewhat defiantly, "I just wanted to see how Robert's injuries were. Did she need to be so protective?"

"Indeed!" The trio exchanged looks and nodded, agreeing that Kara's concerns were not unfounded.

"But Robert's injuries seem really serious. There won't be any trouble, right?" Barry Allen scratched his head, hesitantly adding, "And what do we do with these two talismans? We can't just throw them away, can we?"

"Let's find a place to stay for now, let's not go home. Wait until school tomorrow to see if Kara and the others come?" Pietro suggested, quickly coming up with an idea.

"Right! They left, but we can go find them! Peter Parker, you're always following them, right? You should know where their home is, right?" Lana's eyes lit up, looking expectantly at Peter Parker.

"You're really overestimating me..." Peter Parker spread his hands helplessly, quietly saying, "I just meet up with them every morning. But from their behavior, it seems their home isn't in Missouri..."

"Not in Missouri? How is that possible? I don't know about Robert, but Kara used to live in Missouri!" Barry Allen immediately countered.

Before Robert transferred, Kara was a prominent figure in the class. Her information wasn't public knowledge, but everyone paid attention to her, confirming that Kara indeed lived in Missouri. After all, the Dimitri Five once secretly followed Kara, though they were caught and failed...

"I don't know about that. Today passed by so quickly, and I'm so tired. I'm going to head back now; it's almost time to get out of school anyway..." Peter Parker shrugged helplessly, speaking softly.

"Swish!"

"Swish!"

However, just as Peter Parker was about to leave, Barry Allen and Pietro quickly intercepted him.

"Don't go, Peter." Pietro blinked, smiling at Peter Parker, "We're all comrades in adversity. Are you really going to abandon your comrades like this? You should at least stay with us to guard the talisman."

"My Aunt May will worry if I don't go home..." Peter Parker looked helplessly at Pietro and Barry Allen, who had stopped him from both sides, and gave a wry smile.

"It's fine, just call and let them know, right?" Pietro patted Peter Parker's shoulder, suggesting profoundly. "Remember, when someone was about to be drained dry, I rushed over without a second thought. Now that you're fine, leaving like this seems a bit too heartless, doesn't it?"

"Alright, alright, I'll stay with you guys, okay?" Peter Parker quickly raised his hands in surrender.

Thus, Peter Parker and the others left the chaotic battlefield together. When official personnel received the report and sent people over, they found nothing but devastation.

Eventually, this event was classified as a supernatural incident, and specialists were dispatched to investigate, but they also came up empty-handed.

Meanwhile, Kara returned to the Kent farm with Robert. Martha and Jonathan were shocked by Robert's injuries. If not for Kara's gesture to keep quiet, they would have exclaimed in alarm.

Kara placed Robert on the bed, but unlike Diana before, she didn't bathe him, as Robert's injuries, especially the gaping wound in his abdomen, hadn't fully healed, and Kara felt it wasn't appropriate to get him wet.

"Kara, what happened? How did Robert get so injured? Is he okay?" After Kara left the room, Martha and Jonathan, full of concern, asked about Robert's condition.

"The injuries look serious, but Robert's recovery speed is also very fast. He should be able to recover soon." Kara shook her head, quietly comforting them, then looked around in confusion and asked, "Hmm? Where's Clark? Why isn't he here?"

"He went out earlier, said he had something important to do. Oh! Right, he told you to take good care of the house and not to wander off..." Martha remembered Clark's words before he left, becoming even more worried.

"What did Clark go to do? Could it be related to Robert's injury? Kara, can't you see far? Can you find Clark's location?"
