Superman’s Saiyan little brother

The Super Investigation Department (SID) was engulfed in sadness. The Martian Manhunter had successfully shed his disguise, and Valon's Hydra minions had successfully stolen the Mouse Talisman. They all had a bright future ahead.

However, the SID, after this incident, would surely strive to improve and realize that their weak force was ill-suited for the supernatural world.

Currently, the SID wasn't very impressive. The only supernatural individual in the entire department was the Martian Manhunter, disguised as Mr. Skull. Despite looking fierce, the strength he displayed wasn't very formidable, just an average supernatural being.

Other than Mr. Skull, the SID lacked other supernatural individuals, and even supernatural items were scarce. The Mouse Talisman was the only confirmed and usable supernatural item. Other items were still unverified.

Considering the SID members' reactions during the attack, it was clear that this relatively new department was indeed lacking.

Of course, if the SID were that powerful, Alex wouldn't have been able to infiltrate it, considering her only significant attributes were her extraordinary sister and younger sister.

Setting aside the SID, when Valon's minions successfully stole the Mouse Talisman, two other groups were also on the move.

Inside the Base of District 13, which was considered the safest place in the world, with solid defenses and numerous security personnel – though few were supernatural beings – these well-trained individuals were the elite, selected from military and police forces.

Since its establishment, District 13 had never faced any breaches, even more secure than the White House, a source of pride for Chief Black and all its members.

"Is there really a Hydra?" At that moment, Chief Black, holding confidential files, was filled with doubt.

Since Jackie Chan mentioned Hydra's existence to Chief Black, he had been investigating Hydra. Initially, he doubted Jackie's concerns, as his investigations into Hydra turned up nothing significant, despite Black being one of the top figures in America, backed by powerful allies.

Yet, after more than a year of continuous investigation, Black finally found some clues – mysterious deaths of important politicians and assassins seemingly from an organization.

While these assassins didn't directly link to Hydra, it didn't stop Chief Black from suspecting them and planning further investigations.

Even if he couldn't find Hydra, these assassins, suspected of having supernatural powers, were of interest to Chief Black.

However, Chief Black hadn't expected that before he could confirm Hydra's existence, they would already be attacking his home base!

"Boom!" As Chief Black was lost in the files, an explosion jolted District 13 awake.

"Click!" Suddenly, the entire District 13 plunged into darkness, much like the previous attack on the SID. Both the power system and backup generators were sabotaged by Hydra infiltrators.

"Everyone, assemble! Arm yourselves and use night vision. Shoot any suspicious person who can't identify themselves. Also, send a team to restore the power!" Chief Black quickly issued commands through a channel unaffected by the power outage.

"Also, secure the supernatural items. Shoot anyone approaching without permission!" Remembering the talismans, Chief Black issued a second order.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Gunshots echoed through District 13. The Hydra infiltrators didn't have as smooth a mission as those at the SID. Several Hydra agents were neutralized, but fortunately for them, there were more infiltrators here, including super-soldiers.

After significant losses, two Hydra agents managed to steal nine talismans and escaped, despite losing one agent covering their retreat.

"Boom!" Just as District 13 repaired its power system and prepared to pursue the Hydra agent, a terrifying explosion stunned everyone. The "world's safest place" was officially breached.

"Damn it, Hydra! Valon, you're definitely not acting alone!" Seeing the talismans stolen, Chief Black was certain of Valon's and Hydra's involvement, as their methods matched his findings.

"What now, Chief?" Several battered supernatural agents approached Chief Black hesitantly, "It seems we've been infiltrated. Should we conduct a thorough investigation?"

"With such infiltration, what's there to investigate?" Chief Black rolled his eyes and ordered, "Contact Jackie Chan, and try to track the talismans to locate them."

"Understood!" The District 13 personnel went to carry out the orders.

"Damn Hydra, daring to mess with me. Valon, this can't be just your doing!" After his subordinates left, Chief Black was deep in thought, now sure of Valon's Hydra affiliation and realizing Hydra's power was far greater than he had imagined.

Meanwhile, Nick Fury, driving his secure vehicle, sensed something amiss as nearby vehicles dwindled, seeming to be redirected, and several cars headed towards him.

"I'm being targeted? By whom?" Fury, a seasoned agent, found it unbelievable. Since becoming the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., no one had dared to target him like this.

"Where are my men?" Fury quickly noticed another anomaly. He wasn't on a covert mission, so a few subordinates should've been with him, but they were nowhere to be found.

"Beep, beep, beep!" Fury discreetly sent a distress signal. Being the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and under attack, he couldn't just wait to be rescued. Even without countermeasures, with his secure vehicle, he was confident of survival until help arrived.

"Bang!" As Fury contemplated, a red-haired man kicked his car door, causing disorientation. Alfie, finding the car still locked, continued to assault the vehicle, speaking non-stop, until a final "click" signaled the breach.
