Superman’s Saiyan little brother

Chapter 207: I’ve Got Him!

"Demons have been increasingly rampant lately, what's really going on?" Clark watched as Robert led Johnny Stone and Susan Stone to meet Kara and the others. His gaze flickered slightly, and soon he noticed another demon, swiftly flying over. A thought crossed his mind.

"Could it be that the so-called breach in Earth's dimension is widening? Or is it like a leak in a ship that's getting bigger?"

No one could answer the doubts in Clark's mind, but the increasing number of demons on Earth was indeed similar to what he suspected. Initially, only a few powerful dimensions noticed the breach on Earth, but over time, more and more dimensions became aware of it.

In these dimensions, there might not be many powerful beings, but it allowed them more opportunities to smuggle into Earth's dimension.

A tiger entering your home versus a mosquito does, the reactions are entirely different, but sometimes a mosquito can be more troublesome than a tiger...

While Clark continued to hunt down emerging demons, the shape-shifting demon, thrown back by the Hell Lord, secretly hid and began its scheme.

If the last time the shape-shifting demon came to Earth, it had its own ulterior motives, seeking to increase its power and become a dominant being in hell, this time its primary goal was to complete the task assigned by the Hell Lord. Failing to do so meant enduring the Hell Lord's torment...

However, the demon's current plight was mainly due to its own greed. Initially, it had devoured a weak rock demon under Clark's watch and then several other demons, inflating its ego.

Even knowing there were beings like Robert and Clark on Earth whom it couldn't contend with, it didn't fear too much, even daring to secretly observe Robert battling other demons, intending to steal opportunities. It ended up being beaten back to hell by Robert and was thrown back out by the Hell Lord...

If the shape-shifting demon hadn't been so greedy and simply focused on finding other hellish demons to devour, it might not have ended up in its current predicament.

"Hmm?" However, perhaps fortune favors the bold, or perhaps fate willed it so, the shape-shifting demon didn't take long to find a human suitable to bear the Hell Lord's power.

"Such luck? But this isn't enough. He needs to die with resentment in his heart. Only then will his soul fall into hell, bearing the Lord's power for revenge, my revenge as well!"

"I also need to arrange a bit of a human tragedy for him, to completely break him upon returning to Earth, leaving his body under the Lord's control..."

The shape-shifting demon soon disappeared from the spot, careful not to expose itself too much, knowing that if it did, Robert and Clark would definitely target it.

Thus, it opted to lure its target into death and hell through human means. This was the best strategy, even if it meant enduring more torment from the Hell Lord.

For its part, the shape-shifting demon could barely accept this. As for negotiating with the Hell Lord upon finding the target, it never considered it, knowing well that until the task was completed, the Hell Lord wouldn't spare it...

Clark and Robert, unaware of the shape-shifting demon's actions, kept searching for traces of demons. They weren't omniscient and couldn't track every demon.

However, during their search, Clark also discovered that Earth had more superhumans than he thought. A group of unknown beings were resisting the demons. Some belonged to an organization, while others fought alone.

Among these individual fighters, there was one Clark recognized, named Constantine, who had previously clashed with Robert.

Unbeknownst to Clark, with the emergence of these demons, Constantine thought of Robert. He had once mentioned wanting to lure some real nasty demons to Robert to see who was stronger and to get back at Robert for stealing the sheep charm...

Unfortunately, as a former temporary host of the sheep charm, Constantine didn't receive any power boost from the sheep charm or any other charm after the twelve charms exploded. However, it seemed Constantine had new methods for dealing with demons...

"Is that who they encountered? Demons?" In the wilderness of Missouri, Robert and Kara had already rendezvoused. Pietro was the first to ask Johnny Stone and Susan Stone.

"Yes, if Robert hadn't helped us, we might have been killed..." Susan Stone looked at Robert with a mix of helplessness and gratitude, saying meaningfully.

Pietro, Peter Parker, and Barry Allen simultaneously gasped, retreating instinctively to the side. Johnny Stone, not knowing why, also stepped back, leaving the others standing in the center.

As Susan Stone finished speaking, Kara and Lorna's gazes turned towards her, and for a moment, their eyes seemed to spark with electricity.

"What are you doing running so far away?" Robert looked at the retreating Peter Parker and the others with surprise, then turned to Susan Stone, "Actually, even if I hadn't arrived, you wouldn't have had much trouble. You can turn invisible, after all. At most, your house would've been demolished again, though it seems there's not much left of it now..."

"Oh! I thought I recognized you. You're the ones who didn't return the charm last time, resulting in your house being demolished!" Before Kara could speak, Lorna sarcastically chimed in.

However, Susan Stone just smiled serenely, her expression unchanged. In contrast, both Johnny Stone and Robert seemed awkward. Johnny felt awkward because he was the one who insisted on keeping the charm, leading to their house's first demolition.

And Robert's awkwardness stemmed from the fact that this incident originated from him, like he was caught talking behind someone's back...

"Cough cough, let's not talk about the house demolition. Let's see if we can find some demons," Robert quickly shifted the topic back to demons, "Later, Kara and I will back you up. You can take turns fighting the demons, or team up if you want..."

"After all, each of you has your own limitations, but if you get used to working together, it can significantly enhance your combat effectiveness."

While many fighters in the Dragon Ball world prefer solo battles, Robert didn't think that teamwork was problematic. After all, some enemies are indeed too powerful to face alone.

And for Peter Parker and others, even slightly more powerful demons are formidable foes...

"Hmph!" Hearing Robert's words, Kara looked triumphantly at Lorna and Susan Stone, then stood beside Robert, as if she had won some victory.

"Why are you so happy? Do you want to fight too?" Robert asked Kara, somewhat puzzled.

"No, let them deal with those weak demons. We'll support them together!" Kara emphasized "weak," her gaze openly sweeping over Lorna and Susan Stone. Her meaning was clear: the weak weren't just the demons, but also them...

"Maybe you're strong now, but it might not be the same in the future!" Lorna retorted, glaring at Kara.

"Yeah, and a bad temper isn't attractive to men," Susan Stone added softly, her words laden with meaning.

"Hmm? Shh!" Robert, noticing a competitive atmosphere forming among the three, was about to intervene when he suddenly felt his shoe soles heating up. He signaled Kara and the others to be quiet and whispered to Susan Stone, "Take them and turn invisible. Leave Kara and me here..."

"Okay." Susan Stone smiled softly and disappeared with Lorna and the others, invisible.

However, both to Kara's vision and Robert's senses, Susan Stone's invisibility wasn't very effective.

"A demon curse? Interesting lad, your blood and qi seem abundant. And this girl beside you, she seems special too..." As Susan Stone and the others vanished, a one-eyed demon emerged, showing its sharp teeth in a sinister smile at Robert and Kara.

"If he wasn't so weak, I'd really want to smash him!" Kara muttered, annoyed. Almost every demon lured out by Robert's demon curse was a character unto itself. They saw Robert as easy prey, mocking him while trying to devour him.

Perhaps that's why only these weaker demons fell for Robert's fishing with a demon curse!

"Forget it, these level of demons are just too weak. Let's wait for a stronger one to show up, then you can take action," Robert comforted Kara, "Actually, the demon I encountered while saving Johnny should have been yours to fight. It was quite resilient..."

"You dare ignore me?!" The one-eyed demon, noticing Robert and Kara ignoring it to whisper among themselves, was furious. In hell, it couldn't stand seeing couples together and had killed countless lovers on Earth. Now, it was time to show Robert and Kara its might!

"Boom!" Before the demon could charge at Robert and Kara, a burst of explosive flames headed towards it, thanks to Johnny Stone who couldn't hold back and struck first!

Though Robert had mentioned teamwork, Johnny didn't know the capabilities of Peter Parker and the others, so he took the initiative. After all, he hadn't had the chance to vent his frustration from the previous demon encounter.

"Hmm?!" The one-eyed demon's single eye narrowed at the sudden explosive flames, its body quickly swelling as it punched towards the flame.

"Boom!" With an explosion, the demon staggered backward, then suddenly tripped over, thrown off balance.

The ones who acted weren't anyone else but Barry Allen and Pietro. Seeing their prey snatched away, they also acted swiftly, launching their attacks while Johnny was still reeling from his blast.

"Thud!" The one-eyed demon fell clumsily, struggling to rise when webs shot onto it, binding its limbs. Peter Parker's voice followed, "I've got him, keep attacking!"

"Bang!"

"Snap!"

Two figures flashed, sending the demon flying, tearing the webs and falling back to the ground...
