NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 11: Finally, Food!
(Tesslia’s POV)
This time… the moment that I woke up, a spoon of soup was gently forced into my mouth, quickly getting me to swallow the soup. It was oddly filling, so I didn’t really mind.
Seehia: “My Lady is slowly getting addicted to you already. If you end up dying on my watch… I will absolutely lose my job, and most likely end up in prison.” She said, taking the spoon out before shoving the re-souped spoon back into my mouth.
The clearly anxious maid did this around ten more times. Just until she was certain that I wouldn’t pass out once more. The soup was good… but is there anything else?
Seehia: “Do you think that you can eat solid food?” She asked.
Tesslia: “I think so.” I reply.
Seehia: “Fine… I’ll go get some prepared. Just… don’t pass out again, please.” She pleaded with a sigh before leaving the room.
Hehe, it is nice to be pampered like this. In my original life, I was far too invested with my research and job to ever care about finding a wife. And on top of that, I was completely alone.
There really is no merit to thinking about my past life more. I just thought about since I was in such a unique situation. Well… it is unique to me, at least.
Some Waiting Later.
Seehia: “Oh, no… Not again!” She said with a shocked tone.
Tesslia: “I’m awake!” I quickly exclaim.
Seehia: “…”
Tesslia: “I was just resting my eyes… I don’t really feel good right now.” I say with an embarrassed tone.
Seehia: “I see… Here is your food. This is an emergency, so do not expect such meals like this in the future.” She said, handing me a plate.
On the plate… was an absolutely delicious looking steak. But there wasn’t a knife or fork… I really, really wanted to see how juicy this steak was. Oddly, Seehia cut a piece of the steak off for me, and presented with a fork close to my mouth.
Tesslia: “…”
Seehia: “Why aren’t you eating it?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Tesslia: “Thanks, but I am not a child, Seehia.” I reply with a sigh.
Gently taking the fork from her hand, I ate the piece of steak that was skewered on it. Oh, my fucking god! This was the best goddamn steak that I have ever eaten!!!
Quickly, I grabbed the knife from Seehia’s other hand, and then started cutting off bites of steak for me to eat. After eating many bites, I decided to taste the mashed potatoes, which were also divine beyond words could express…
A Meal Later.
With a satisfied grin, I rubbed my full stomach. I thought that I would need to eat more, but I guess that vampires eat a lot. That steak was certainly feeling. Actually… it was like I just ate six steaks all at once…
Seehia: “…”
Tesslia: “What?” I say with a confused expression.
Seehia: “You know how to eat a meal like my kind? You even skillfully used a knife and fork…” She said with a shocked tone.
Tesslia: “Seehia… you should be aware that my soul isn’t from this dimension, right?” I reply.
Seehia: “That is correct, yes. If you want more information about it… you need to be given the privilege by My Lady.” She replied with a nod.
Tesslia: “That so? Well, in my dimension, humans were the dominant race. Vampires didn’t exist, and we basically lived just like how the vampires do.” I explain.
Seehia: “Vampire? Is that what your people call my kind?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Tesslia: “Vampires were fictional, but yes. That is what we called them.” I reply with a nod.
Seehia: “Hm… interesting.” She said with a… oh, no!
This woman had an extremely lustful expression on her face. What the hell… Oh, she is getting closer to me. Um… miss vampire maid, can I help you with something?
Shit… while eating, I got too excited and bit my lip. Is the blood making her silly?… Hey! Don’t get on my bed without permission. Ah, don’t lick my neck… Someone save me from being raped by a vampire!!!
