The Betrayed Hero and the Idol

Hey all, as the title said, this fic is sadly being laid to rest. I won't completely discount the possibility of me continuing it, but it is very unlikely.

Essentially, I got bogged down by life, other projects, and general boredom/burnout of this series. Especially as this series has a distinct lack of plot aside from the main storyline. Which, simply rehashing, would be very... boring.

So yeah, sorry for not finishing it out to the end, and thanks for reading.

If anyone wants to continue this on their own, you have my full support, and if you want to create an ending in your head, go for it, but here are some of the plot points I had planned out:

-Ruby starts B-Komachi 2 with Kana, though Kana is a bit more into it as a way to gain fans and skills, having seen in person how Ai has the power to turn people's heads from her idol days. Ai then starts teaching them. A small scene: Ai shows off her innocent act to the camera during B-Komachi's revival, Kana is shocked at how she's still so good at that, Ai notes how those skills never leave, especially when they're fun for roleplay. 

-In order to get more fame, Ruby joins Love Now instead of Aqua, she and Akane get closer as Ruby helps Akane make up an act before the suicide attempt.

-Cassius convinces Aqua to do something about the festering feelings with Kana, but he's hesitant due to his mental age.

-Ruby discovers that Aqua is Sensei from her past life, struggles with her feelings for the past Sensei but soon discovers that she was just devoid of love in general and latched on to the first male that showed her affection. Her time with Cassius as a dad made her better at understanding and separating familial and romantic love.

-Ruby starts liking Akane and is afraid of Japan's cultural homophobia, as well as Cassius, knowing he's from a medieval world. Cassius talks with her and explains that in his world, lesbian relationships were extremely common amongst nobility as it was a way for girls to have fun without tainting their 'purity' and getting pregnant, which gets messy with noble houses and illegitimate children.

-End game Ruby x Akane, Aqua x Kana

-My 'ending', since there is no real revenge-based plot, is having Aqua and Akane cast in a movie about Cassius' biography novel, while the new B-Komachi performs at the Tokyo Dome. Closing scene is Ai at the Tokyo Dome performance talking about how proud of her daughter she is, and also proud of Aqua, Cassius agrees but says that Ai will always be his star (oshi... my oshi... get it?), they kiss, and that's credits.
