The Breeding Goblin Has Reincarnated

Continuing on from the previous author’s note, I’m just gonna describe how I’d write a darker fantasy. I have zero experience in writing one and don’t know the first thing about it, but here goes nothing.

So… I read like… the first three chapters of “I Got Reincarnated As The Maid Of A Lout Prince” and was like: Yes, that seems to be what I should go for. So I’m basically going to do something like that.

FMC’s character traits: Angry personality but has skills that require serenity (thx Hamid). 

I’m honestly unsure if I should gender bend the character or not. I’m thinking of changing things up. Making the girl the MC merges with being a ‘harem heroine’ that regresses in time after betrayal.

In a magical world with Gift Users, she has her ‘Spirit Summoning’ Gift, which affected her in a way that made her privy to secrets that should’ve been left hidden. The game hero finds out about this. He uses his Gift enhanced by a Machine God to subdue and enslave her.

She becomes an experimental subject to the machine overlords, who have been corrupting the magic society from the shadows. Her ability to resist them was carefully dissected and she dies horribly.

The guy who got Isekai’d is that game hero.

Originally just a common extra, he steals all the ‘real heroes’ girls through their intended routes (this is unknown to her). When she reincarnates into the past, she becomes a guy and sees his real self. The two-faced nature he had towards guys.

The body she has somehow upgraded her ‘Spirit Summoning’ into ‘Arcana Summoning’. She can summon heroes from the past and future tied to those cards specifically, but needs to be calm in order to summon them.

The male she got reincarnated into originally fell into a coma after an accident and never woke up. Realising later that this was the ‘original protagonist’ that fake tried to kill.

His power is basically the opposite of her own, as he can boost his power and potential depending on the feelings he has (which, due to her presence, is rage).

This makes using Arcana Summoning difficult because she can never calm down unless sleeping. 

The sexual elements will just be because this world is fucked up and the fake harem hero having really bad friends. It still having nobility despite the academy setting. 

Since I’m using the “they become a mixture of two people”, the male body causes male memories to be prioritised so he sees himself as a male. It’s basically the same gender-bending that novel uses.

That’s the gist of the idea.

I was thinking of writing three interconnected stories before I’m finished with writing. The summons from the arcana having ties to one of them.

Thinking of making this my third mainline story, but the difficulty here is that it’d be summoning character who, right now, have yet to undergo their character arcs.

Since this isn’t a direct sequel that should probably be fine.

Will continue them two for now until I make my decision on this.
