The crimson princess

The organization of the shadow

Pov Dia,

Once the girls were healed, I went to them to explain the situation and my intentions toward them.

The older one was named Harley, and the younger one, Lola.

(Author’s note: they also come from Isekai Demon Waifu, and I decided to keep their names in French.)

I gave them shelter, fed them, and taught them various fighting techniques, and they quickly excelled at killing.

When Rimuru was close to giving birth, I asked Testarossa to train them while I kept watch over the women.

Some years later, we noticed the lingering effects of my music on them.

Harley, despite growing older, maintained the mentality of a child and was very playful. Thankfully, even with her mischievous nature, she was an exceptional assassin.

As for Lola, her body stopped growing at the age of 13, but this didn’t bother her because, as she put it, "the bigger you are, the easier it is to be seen."

I felt much closer to Lola because she, too, had stopped growing physically, making us both look like children.

I raised these girls as if they were my own, though perhaps with less intensity than with Findel and Joyce.

One day, Harley came to me asking for a squad to command. So, I sought out orphans—of any race—who had lost their will to live and gave them a new purpose.

While we were searching for a place to set up our headquarters, my daughters approached me with the idea of opening a bar.

I was initially against the idea, but then I thought it would be the perfect cover for our shadow organization’s headquarters, allowing me to protect them if something ever went wrong.

We established the bar near the main square of Pandemonium.

This place was a great idea because no one would suspect it to be the headquarters of a shadow organization.

Of course, as the organization grows, I plan to set up other locations where members can receive training and carry out other tasks.

I’ve already asked Aurora if I could establish a hidden branch within the Witches' Guild, jobs, trades and other guilds that we have created.

She agreed but mentioned that she would ask for something in return, though she hasn’t told me what she wants yet.

These locations were crucial for our faction, offering assistance to those seeking employment, providing support from witches, or helping to regulate trade.

To some, it might seem foolish to place a shadow organization in a busy public space, but as Scathach says, "The best place to hide a tree is in a forest."

Whenever I worked on preparations for the shadow organization, I asked Testarossa and Ultima to handle the paperwork and politics, while Carrera trained the armed forces of our faction.

Today is the celebration of my 100th year, and Sera and I are happy about it, but it feels like it will take me another century to finish all the preparations for the faction.

Additionally, other races want to join us, even those from different pantheons, such as yokai, elves, and others.

I feel like I'm going to be overwhelmed for a while, especially since I try to visit my girls every week while they’re working.

It’s so hard to be a faction leader, but at least I can be thankful because I don't have to manage everything alone, especially with Oni-sama and the others helping in certain areas.

Of course, I don’t count Sera in this group, as I either help her or send assistance as soon as she gets overloaded with work.
