The Goddess of Death and Her Empress

Chapter 39 – Memory Seals

"Goddess?" Lydia asked. She looked confused. "Are you alright?" Kyrie looked up at her.

"I'm not sure. I thought I remembered something important, but it's gone again." She held Lydia firmly in her arms. "But it's been a while since I've tasted you, Lydia. I wonder why I stopped." Lydia smiled, and kissed Kyrie's shoulder.

"Goddess, you miss the Empress." It was a simple truth to the Others. Kyrie's attention was focused on Lena, ever since she met the child, and Lena was able to overcome the compulsion to forget. Not only that, she could see through Kyrie's ability to hide, while still being visible. Lena fascinated Kyrie, which soon turned into affection. When Lena was taken by the dog emperor, Bardulf, everyone could see that it wasn't a simple affection for a mortal, but a strong, enduring, and deep love.

"She's been asleep a lot lately, and there have been many things going on." She shivered a little. "You should get close to a few more of us, goddess. We've missed these times." She didn't say that Kyrie had been quite dark for almost five hundred years, and her dark mood seemed to flow in cycles.

"I have been a bit negligent in the last few centuries. Send Nikki back. Let Rachel take over your duties while you recover." She inhaled her scent at her neck. "Your moans were quite delicious, Lydia. You'll have to come to Imera and enjoy Lena's teeth." Lydia shivered.

"I hope you will take me to visit, goddess." She smiled. "I haven't had a good core unwind in a while. It was wonderful."

Kyrie smiled, and took Lydia to the back room to recover. It was originally her resting room, or private area attached to the throne room, but she had used it for their recovery lately. She liked to keep them closer now, but couldn't understand why.

"Goddess, you called for me?" Nikki appeared at the door while she laid Lydia on the bed and lightly caressed her cheek. Kyrie smiled a little.

"Yes, I did." She went back to the throne and sat down. "Come here, little Nikki." Rachel stood at the side with a grin.

She watched as the goddess pulled Nikki onto her lap, slowly kissed, licked, and loved Nikki's body until she was too aroused to stop. She ate her slowly, and without the savage hunger present. It was more erotic, and turned Rachel on quite a bit.

The moans were more akin to the things they could experience in the grove, which was not something their goddess normally did. Rachel watched and soon understood the basic truth of their goddess.

"Before Lena, she was the goddess of death." Rachel whispered. "Now, she is the goddess of life from death."

Their goddess could be either. When the temple was open previously, she would switch from one to the other, without difficulty, but for hundreds of years, she only had one side.

"We've missed you, goddess." Rachel said quietly. She watched, and listened intently to the moans Nikki emitted, and how much the goddess enjoyed the entire process.

Once Nikki was fully consumed, she was regenerated, and put on the bed beside Lydia.

"Rachel, watch over them, and keep Haven intact. Use the shadows as needed, or call out if necessary." Kyrie said as she left the room.

"I will, goddess." She smiled. "The Empress would enjoy it if you slept beside her for a bit. Maybe let Nadya and Nuri keep you both warm." Kyrie lifted an eyebrow.

"When Lydia wakes up, come to Imera. I'm sure Lena has greatly desired to consume those luscious curves of yours for a while." Kyrie disappeared, while Rachel shivered.

"The way she looks at my breasts, I'm not surprised."

* * *

Kyrie appeared in the room, which startled the Shadows that watched from a distance. There was a bit of an aura about her that seemed to match the Empress, and one that made them feel more reverent than before.

That is what felt odd to them. They were always faithful, and worshiped the goddess with their entire being. However, since they were given to Lena as servants, they've felt a healthy dose of that same worship for the Empress. They could feel her kindness, as well as her gentleness, but there was an underlying vibration of holiness to her.

They were used to the goddess, and the way she felt. Now that she was in the same room, her divinity seemed to spike a little, as though they fed off of each other, or stoked each other to a greater height.

Kyrie smiled down at the women. Nuri was on the left, on her side, and enveloped as much of Lena as she could. Her shoulder, and arm were buried in Nuri's chest, while her hip and leg were enveloped by Nuri's soft middle and thick thighs. Nadya was on her right, and though a little shorter and firmer, she did the same thing.

"Other than her head, I can barely see my little Lena. She's kept nice and warm by her 'pillows'." Kyrie smiled. "I'm quite pleased with you both." She knelt on the end of the bed.

"Make some room for me, Nadya." Kyrie slid onto the bed, and smiled as Nadya pulled her into the pile of flesh. "Mm, no wonder Lena likes having you close. You feel real nice behind me like this." Nadya smiled shyly.

"You should hug the Empress, goddess. She has missed you a lot lately." Nadya said softly at her ear. Kyrie moved up between her breasts, but faced away from her. Kyrie wrapped her arms about Lena's waist, and slowly smiled. Lena unconsciously turned onto her side and faced her.

"Still sleeping, and wants to face me." Lena moved in closer, put her chin over Kyrie's shoulder, slid her knee between her thighs, and arm over her hip. With a firm grip, she pulled Kyrie right against her.

"Nuri, push against her. Nadya, get closer too." As the two more fleshy women pushed against them both, she heard a soft murmur in her ear. "She likes it, ladies. I'm going to sleep too. Make sure you stay close."

"Alright, goddess. We'll watch over both of you." Nuri said with bright cheeks.

"Good. You two still don't understand how attractive you are to us." Kyrie yawned softly, and snuggled in closer to Lena. "Or how important you are to us. Shadows. Protect. Yawn. So tired. Can't stay awake." Kyrie was sucked into the void of hibernation, much like Lena.

"Wow." Nadya said. "I don't think I've ever seen her fall asleep like this before." Nadya started to smile, and snuggle with her. Nuri swallowed a lump in her throat.

"I didn't know she could." In her near thousand years, she had never even heard of the goddess going to sleep before.

"I've been a servant of the goddess for thousands of years." Valina said quietly. "I don't remember if she's ever slept like us." Valina tapped her head in confusion. It wasn't that she didn't understand, or know the answer. She knew she had the memory, but she couldn't access it.

Everyone within Haven had their memories sealed.
