The Hunter That Returned From Hell

Chapter 114: Obey or Die

While some people were swarming the area where Kang-Ho killed Crome, most of the people who were passing by didn’t care or bother to check what had taken place, they just wanted to enter the gate that’s all. Along with these crowd of people somewhere in the crowd was Kang-Ho as well, like everyone he was running to the entrance as well. People around Kang-Ho were running but Kang-Ho somewhat felt as if these people were hurried as, if they didn’t reach their destination fast enough, they would lose something. Kang-Ho was bewildered, he wondered if there was time limit to entering the trail.

But not everyone was hurried, some people were hurried but some people were relaxed like Kang-Ho they were the people who were wearing extraordinary armour or had an extraordinary weapon. After seeing the scene Kang-h could vaguely understand the situation here, but he would have to see for himself to be sure.

After some time of nonstop running Kang-Ho finally reached the entrance, when he reached the entrance Kang-Ho had to slow down, as the entrance wasn’t that big, so people had to enter slowly. Even while they waited to enter the gate no one in that crowd tried to talk to any stranger, it was not clear as to if they were nervous of unknown person or if they were too excited to enter the gate. But even if no one spoke to stranger, there were groups of people in the crowd as well who were talking to their comrades, so Kang-Ho started to listen to their conversation to gain more information about the place he would be entering.

“It seems there are a lot of people who wants to try their luck, in this trial today, even people who came alone are trying to enter the trail. Humph…they are just dilutional if they really thing they can even enter the trail in the first place.” Said one muscular man loudly as if he didn’t care what the surrounding people thought about him, it was almost as if he didn’t fear anyone in the world. Kang-Ho looked into the man’s eyes, he could clearly see the disdain in the eyes of the muscular man. If looked like the muscular man disdained anyone who was not him, he was too conceited. After looking, at the man with one glance Kang-Ho didn’t pay any attention to him anymore, he didn’t have the qualification to make Kang-Ho pay attention to him. the man was just level 120, but his armour and weapons were somewhat extraordinary, when Kang-Ho looked at the muscular man Kang-Ho could feel that in terms of quality it was not one bit inferior to the armour that Min Chae wore in the Mass dungeon entrance. Kang-Ho could tell that the muscular man was from an extraordinary power, after seeing what he wore, so it was obvious as to why the man was complacent.

“Alpha, shut up don’t start up any nonsense, this is the first time we all are entering a trail, you don’t know what we might face inside. And from the information I have after we enter the trail its everyone for themselves, so groups wouldn’t matter in the end.” Said the man who seemed to be leading the group, while looking at the muscular man. It seemed these people were unwilling to use their own names so they were using their code names so that people wouldn’t recognize them after they exited the dungeon, they were all wearing masks so it was obvious that they didn’t want their identity to be reviled.

“Sorry boss, I just got too excited.” Said the muscular man who was called alpha by the man in the lead. This time the muscular man didn’t dare say anything, his head hung down as if he was ashamed, he didn’t dare look up. Now in his eyes it didn’t contain disdain but rather fear. It was clearly fer for the man who he called boss.

The group kept on discussing over the trail so Kang-Ho’s understanding towards this trail increased as well. It seemed these people didn’t have ordinary background as they talked about secrets as if they were nothing. Some people who were there listening to the group’s conversation started to feel chills as they were starting to wonder, ‘should I be hearing this? I don’t want people to hunt me down for knowing too many secrets.’ For some ordinary hunters that came from Busan they were wondering these things as for Kang-Ho, he felt as if these group of people were of great help as he was learning about things he never heard after returning. After listening to them one thing was clear to Kang-Ho as day that, if he wanted to cross a threshold e must leave Busan and go to Seoul, so he made it clear in his heart that moving was very important. He would start preparations after exiting this place he thought.

Soon, most of the people ahead pf Kang-Ho disappeared inside the gate, ow it was Kang-Ho’s turn to enter finally. From the looks of it it wasn’t that the gat was too small for the many people to enter it seemed that only one person could enter at a time the gate had such restriction. The reason behind it was mystery to Kang-Ho, but right now reason wasn’t that important, the most important part was to enter. So, like everyone Kang-Ho stepped his foot inside the gate.

As soon as Kang-Ho entered the gate he felt his eyes go blur for a second, but soon it came back to normal. As he looked around the gate he was amazed once again, surrounding inside the gate wasn’t shrouded in darkness but it was as clear as day inside the place, Kang-Ho looked around the place and as far as he could see, he only saw sand. Kang-Ho was in a totally different surrounding now than before. He was in a desert all of a sudden, straight in front of him Kang-Ho could see a huge structure that seemed like a pyramid back on earth. But this pyramid was too huge, it didn’t even seem like it was made by human it was so big. From far away People standing Infront of the pyramid seemed like ants.

Kang-Ho didn’t dally anymore looking at the scene ass he could see no one entering the pyramid right now but some people blocking the entrance. Kang-Ho felt as if he had guessed right.

………………………………………..

“We are from Burning sword guild, we as all of your cooperation for now. please don’t enter the trial and let just us enter, after you come out of the mass dungeon, please visit our burning sword guilds headquarter and collect some exciting rewards for your cooperation. I promise the burning guild would not be stingy in giving rewards. As all of you know that the more people that enter the less reward there would be to go around, I don’t know how many people entered before we got here but please cooperate with us.” Said a young man with pride in is face as if that was the order in which the world should work. Kang-Ho instantly recognized the man who said those words, it was none other than Min Chae.
