The Infinite Journey of Cruelty

Chapter 38

Chapter 38: : “How Dare You Talk Back!”

They couldn’t find the answer on Li Wei’s side, and they didn’t want to sit still, so David and the others found a place to save themselves and discuss countermeasures.

But that monster is bigger than their tentacles alone. Can the fragile supermarket really stop those monsters?

The supermarket manager looked at the glass exterior wall of the main entrance of the window supermarket and said, “We can block the glass with dog food, and tape the broken places. I hope this will be useful…”

Several people didn’t hold much hope for such a method, but they didn’t want to do nothing and wait here to die, so they all agreed to this proposal.

“Maybe we can ask the soldiers, didn’t the Asian guy say it, this is another **** that happened in the military base!” A hippie with a blue turban bowed his head in a certain direction.

Everyone looked at them subconsciously, and they could only see the shelves, but they were able to “pass through” the shelves to see the three soldiers who came out on vacation.

Brent clenched his fists. Thinking of Li Wei just now, he raised his hand in embarrassment, “I agree.”

David and Ollie, both naturally felt that this was not a good idea, but if they want to make a useful plan, information is the key!

Dan and the others did not express their opinion, and the scene fell into silence.

They looked at each other, and neither of them spoke first.

“Hey, guys, what are you discussing?” At this moment, a female voice inserted into their circle.

A few people were startled, they all looked around and saw the unremarkable Amanda, only then did they breathe a sigh of relief.

It’s not a shameful matter, so they just added Amanda to discuss it together.

When Amanda learned what they were thinking, she showed a puzzled look, “Why don’t you just ask? It’s just… a very simple question, they are also trapped, only by being together can we escape from here, no ?”

Why don’t you just ask?

“That’s a good question!” Brent stood up, his back was off the shelf, looked at the naive woman with an angry expression on his face, and said word by word, “If you really need to simply ask them It will tell us about the secret experiment conducted by the Bullshit Federation, then we don’t need to struggle here, you understand?”

“If you want to ask them questions, maybe we need guns.” A middle-aged man with a moustache also looked at Amanda and shook his head slightly, “I don’t believe in their discipline, they must have guns on them!”

The manager of the supermarket opened the first button of his shirt and suddenly felt that the atmosphere here was a little depressing.

David, who was silent, also nodded silently. The place where they lived was not a big city, and they were still sensible, and they didn’t really believe the nonsense of those politicians.

No one with a big heart would believe those soldiers, except that Wayne is a local who can be trusted a little, and the other two are foreign garrisoned troops, and they can’t believe it.

“A gun?” Amanda said.

Everyone nodded to confirm, but the bearded man looked at the fog outside and said, “I have a shotgun, but the gun is in the trunk of the car outside.”

When the rest of the people heard the words, the strength they had just mentioned vanished again. After they said it, they didn’t say anything.

But Amanda pulled out what they desperately wanted from the purse around her waist, a silver revolver.

“I have… Because I have to go out, my husband gave me self-defense.”

Seeing the gun, everyone jumped up from the spot and looked excitedly at the revolver in Amanda’s hand.

With the gun, it only takes a simple plan to arrest the two foreign garrison troops, torture them, and ask for information about the military base in the forest!

……

In the dead of night, Li Wei fell into a temporary sleep by sitting on the cardboard box.

He can keep himself mentally active for a long, long time, not doing that, just to be more like living than surviving.

Now that he has a lot of time, he doesn’t need to worry about life expectancy at all. How to arrange such a long time is a test of his imagination.

Before thinking about the answer, Li Wei will continue to use the life style that he is familiar with.

Half an hour after he entered the hibernation state, a strange voice began to linger around him. It sounded very confusing at first, but if he calmed down to distinguish it, he could hear the shouts of many creatures.

The chirping of sparrows, the roaring of lions, the tongue-out of poisonous snakes… and the chaotic chatter of humans.

These sounds were mixed together, and they didn’t form the slightest sense of art. Instead, there was a kind of mind-shattering hum.

Even if he subconsciously blocked his hearing system, Li Wei would still be forced to squeeze in this strange, ethereal sound.

It was not until he transformed the mucus-secreting organs obtained by devouring monsters in the mist into ordinary human organs, and then released the mucus he made outside his body, that sound gradually disappeared from his consciousness.

Opening his eyes that were glowing red in the dark, he felt that things started to become interesting from here!

A small piece of ground was eroded by the mucus, causing white smoke to rise. Li Wei had no idea of resting for the time being, and was going to find some monsters outside for research.

But just as he sat up, out of the corner of his eyes, he caught a few figures walking towards the storage room.

Smelling the smell of gossip in the air, Li Wei also followed quietly out of the curiosity of those few people.

The first time they spent the night in the supermarket, many people couldn’t sleep. Although they saw those people walking towards the storage room, no one was interested in meddling.

In this way, a few figures passed in front of some people and entered the storage room with good sound insulation.

After a while ~www.readwn.com~ Li Wei walked out from the shelf in the fourth aisle, stepped over a man who smelled of alcohol on the ground, and walked to the storage room.

Pushing open a door, the hearing system captured the slightly intense conversation inside.

“Tie them up!”

“Tell me what your base in the mountains is researching!”

“Be careful with the gun misfire, and give the gun to a more reliable person! I say it! We all say it!”

“Be honest, did you guys create the fog here!”

“Yes! We are conducting an experiment…”

Hearing that it was actually the internal information about the U.S. military base pointed by the arrow of the key, Li Wei did not hide himself, but entered the second door that was still lit.

“Anything good, take me one!”

“Ah!!!”*9

The sudden extra voice startled everyone in the room. After seeing that it was Li Wei, they slowly breathed a sigh of relief.

When the supermarket manager saw him, he quickly pointed to the three people who were tied to the shelf, pointed at them, and said, “Uh, we are interrogating a few of them, and we want to know how the fog outside appeared.”

David, Brent and the others also nodded in agreement, their expressions a little nervous for some reason.

Li Wei’s expression was very playful. He narrowed his eyes and stared at a few people in the room. After seeing that they were a little worried, he showed a stunned expression, “So that’s how it is! Say it earlier, if you say it earlier, I’ll be here too. !”

After speaking, he strode forward and gave each of the three people who were tied to the rack a big mouth. After he finished pumping, he shouted viciously, “Don’t talk!”

“I’m about to say it!”

“It wasn’t interrupted by you!”

“Fake, why did you beat me!”

“How dare you talk back!”
