”So, what? Are you gonna buy or not?”

Layla stares at the Desk, as if it can reveal a third path for her. 
She needs to get it more cheaply. Her Dungeons income is nearly Zero again. 
Waiting for her to accumulate that much is possible, but tedious. 
Is there something. Just something!

*sigh*

As Chloe’s lets out a sigh, Layla looks up. Hoping that she maybe changed her Mind.

”It’s also possible that I accept Blueprints instead of Money.”

”Yaaaaayy!”

Layla is ecstatic. She can trade a Blueprint! 
And it’s not some Cheap Zombie, but either a Mimic or Succubus/Incubus. 
Or can she sell them separate? For her, it’s the same Blueprint, but it’s because of a Benefit of hers. 
But they are inferior to the Fog. How much can they be actually worth? 
Considering it’s a Blueprint, Dungeon Masters would want 20 Times of that. 
But it’s her job to sell them, so maybe it’s in a price range to be actually be able to sell them?

Wait, can she sell that super expensively to the haughty Dungeon Master who can’t go to her right now? 
She can get Rich!

”But I will only accept them very cheaply. I am not in need for them, so to me, they aren’t worth much.”

Layla Delusions didn’t exactly pop, but to still pay up a certain amount because her Blueprints aren’t worth it still hurts.  
But she can still sell them!
And she still has a trump card!

”Don’t worry, I actually have many Blueprints!”

”Your Disadvantage limits your Monster you can place right? I guess you will have some beasts then.”

Layla is disappointed that she found out. 
No one knows! Wait, do other know and she just doesn’t know that she knows?

”By the Way, I believe at least Robert doesn’t know, maybe Gustav doesn’t too. 
At least, it didn’t seem that they asked you to sell some Blueprints about beasts you have.”

Can she read minds?

”It’s on your Face, metaphorically I mean.”

She didn’t plan to look! She knows it wasn’t literally!

”Beast Blueprint aren’t worth much if they haven’t anything special. 
For reference, being the Apex of felines, camouflaging or a potent Venom. 
The less “special” it is, the less it’s worth for me. 
And the closer it’s to Blueprints I already have, the less worth it gets.”

“Like when you already have Wolf Blueprints, the Dog Blueprint gets even less worth?”

”Yes, but it can also be another type of Wolf that gets less worth.”

”I see.”

Layla began to ponder. 
It means it’s first come, first serve. 
So she should take her chance now! 
She doesn’t see any disadvantage.

Dungeon Masters are very possessive of their Blueprints. 
One can say that it’s the only thing they really own. 
Natural, that isn’t exactly right, but they feel precious to them. 
So they don’t actually sell them, or sell them very expensive.

Actually selling a Blueprint doesn’t mean not having it anymore. 
It’s more along the Line of getting copied, so it should be fine? 
When I will ever have use for them, then I will still have them.

Okay, I a, going to sell them all! 
Maybe I can even get Money from Chloe! 
She must be rich with all the money she took from the other two!

Especially the Forest Wolfs. Are they really that Cheap? 
I have every Wolf which can be can in Pack! Okay, they aren’t much. 
Leader, underling, both genders and Children, and the one who was always scouting.

“Uugghhh. She wasn’t even really mean. But i was so stressed!”

”Ho ho ho, someone coming back from her deals?”

”Robert! Why do you intrude in a Ladies room?”

”This is the Guest Room, remember? The only Room every Dungeon Master can go in and out in hopes of contacting you.”

”Ohh, why am I here?”

”When I had to guess, you probably only set a point here as reference for other Dungeon Master and not having placed a private one.”

I forgot. I always come back to this room. I always say to myself that I do that later.

”Did I hit the Nail, eh?”

”… Maybe.”

”Well, it wasn’t what I wanted to talk about.”

”What then?”

”Well well, we’re should I start? You remember that I left earlier, in the discussion with the Scientist of Monster Creation, what a rude fellow, and Gustav was asleep?”

”Yes, no one bothered to wake him up.”

”Ohh, so he didn’t partake in the discussion even after I left? One can say that you nearly confessed.”

”Confessed what?”

”That you convinced her to blacklist me!”

”Nope, you yourself convinced her.”

”Lies, I am such a charming young Lich. No one outright cut me off because of my behaviour! 
Everyone wants something from me, even if they have to witness my behaviour, so that can’t be it!”

”But she has nothing she wants from you.”

”Oh, you naive being. I am a legendary being in many ways. And Lichs are especially known for their Wisdom! 
How can someone cut any ties without even trying do indulge me!”

It’s true that many readily overlook Robert’s behaviour since he has an insight in things many covet. 
Heck, any time he goes to the public room, at least three different Dungeon Master flatter him. 
And he gives away his Wisdom sparingly, so they still have a reason to be on his good side. 
Everyone else just do nest see any reason in in-fighting or distance themself from him. 
So there aren’t any people who openly oppose him, since it will be for naught.

But he already addressed Chloe as “fellow”. He is convinced she can be of use to him. 
Maybe even that they have the same rank? 
Anyway, he probably planned to prove his wisdom and make himself an image. 
An image that she has to be a shoe licker to him and she will have insights from him wich prove valuable.

So that Chloe believe she just has to play the Underling, all while slowly getting to be dependent on him. 
Or feeling like getting dependant, trough his eloquent phrasing and repetition. 
A subtle Brainwashing, where she won’t be any different than a real Underling.

But what changed his Mind about her? Her performance?

”… MEEEE, YOU PLAN TO KICK ME OUT. LISTEN YOU BRAT I”

Robert was kicked out and banned for the next two weeks. 
I hope that’s enough.,

I still plan to sell the Blueprints for at least 150000 each. 
I already know at least 20 Dungeon Master who will but it even more expensive then that

And that’s how Layla, someone commonly known as worst Dungeon Master, begins her rise.  
But it’s a different Story then the one we tell.
