The Scientist of Monster Creation, forcefully Hired

26. A Direction

“…”

Free Landscape

It’s a vast Plane in which you can place Monster or other Constructions inside an let them roam.
The Connection will be established through a Door. Inside the Landscape, the Door can appear at your will or allowed Persons.

12500 Gold. I have currently 7500 Gold.
Can a Saviour come?

No, I don’t need it. Especially since it would be stupid to spend all on that upgrade.
But I am Undecided what to do with the Dogs. I mean Wolfs.
And that’s a Solution. But is it worth it?

It’s for my Mentality.
Meaning, it won’t have any material worth.
But How ones Mental state is hard to measure.

No, cut that. One can’t really measure such things.
Even the Health of the Body isn’t represented in Numbers for a good reason.
Even tough one can easier discern if a body is damaged or not.

And what’s concerning is another Thing.

Trough unexpected actions taken from Dungeon Master, a new Function will get Available!
The pon!x# Tax Function is now available for acquisition.

The Tax Function costed 5000 Gold. It was a no-brainier for me.
I can either make it normal taxes, every Time it get soled, I get a certain percentage.
The things is, there isn’t really a trade function. So transaction are a very ambitious expression.
Especially since it taxes Monetary transactions.
I don’t know what Dungeon Master own, but I guess they don’t like to pay taxes. No one does.

The other two options look similar to the Pyramid Scheme.
One is straight up like the Pyramid scheme, the other one is a Pyramid scheme with a maximum numbers of people which sell.
Meaning, everyone who buys from the lowest one on the ladder can’t sell further.
The last Options is straight up forbidding Reselling.

Personally, I think the Pyramid Scheme has the highest success rate.
I can either completely forbid resell and later have some profit or get Money from the… Tax function?
But forbidding would be stupid.

First, the reseller have a Reason to advertise and a want to sell. Actively so.
And they should be able to actively interact with others. I am confined in here.
The other is, my whole jobs is based on using Money to have something to sell.

I am not some kind of Scavenger or similar.
I won’t exhaust my Resource easily, or even never.
My Position is more of a Merchant. I use Money to further raise my Sources of Money.

Now that I look closer. The first one is a Pyramid scheme in essence, but the ware is different.
The Monster can be actually useful.
Making a General Monster which can be sold and used would probably immense Profitable with a low chance of someone losing.
Just some who profit more then others.

And the only one who will use are people stupid enough to buy it for more then it’s worth for them because they hope to resell.
Especially since there is something called invisible Hand.
Other will adjust prices to make as much Money as possible.

For that, someone will have to adjust the price so that as many will buy from one while not being to cheap.
But what about a different scheme?

What I have in Mind would be like that.
Selling three Blueprints extremely cheaply.
Now the three Buyer will probably try to sell the Blueprint again.
And since they buyer cheaply, the can probably be under any price that was made with the expectation to have a large customer base with highest price possible.

Since the one who sold them to the three gets provision, he will make much money.
It has nothing to do with me, but that rubs me wrong.
I don’t even know if or what kind of laws are for Dungeon Masters.

But I am sure as hell of one thing.
Dungeon Master are only able to interact with each other or me.
Gustav is an expectation, but I am sure there is a restriction I don’t know.
The other is, they don’t sell Blueprints they use.

It seems to be because of self-preservation, but how does that connect?
Do hostile Dungeon Master created Weapon which perfectly counter Others Dungeon Monster or what.
No, that doesn’t really add up. However.

The Second Options does look like a Multi-Level-Marketing, when I think of it.
But it also look to me like a Pyramid scheme. Probably because I wasn’t very attentive in Economics.
Can someone blame me when the Teacher is stuck at the same thing for 5 school hours?

I think the different between them lies in the need of new customer and the Ware which get sold.
MLM is equivalent to have a Craftsmen provide a Merchant which then sell the wares.
And the Craftsmen gets a cut of the price or something. O god, I really should have been attentive.

In a Pyramid scheme, the Reseller will make less and less profit the further down he is from sells.
So he needs a large number of people who invest again to make profits.
But at some point, it will be to slow and people begin to leave.
At this point, a Pyramid scheme would just a Card House, with some people winning and most other losing.

I wonder what I have would be officially be called in my old world.
The only way to really lose is for to buy it more expensive then it worth for them.
And what is sold is determined, but how and at which price is for everyone.

Oh Gods. When the Dungeon Master don’t already have an economy, how would it end.
When Blueprints are the only actively traded thing in that scenario, wouldn’t it be like that?
That the whole economy would be a wild mix of Capitalism, the child of Pyramid System and MLM and NFTs?

Ahhhhhhhhhhh…….!

Chloe begins to clutch her Head and prays that it’s just her imagination.
Her Blueprint wouldn’t make something like that, right?

RIGHT?

That would be worse then any dark history for her.

And as side Note, Chloe set a Tax of 20% at the Beginning.
When someone sells at such Times, it would mean Money for her, so why not?
Be it Unlucky or lucky, Layla sold the Mysterious Fog for 280000 Gold at such a Time.

56000 Gold is nothing to scoff at.
She now has 58500 Gold. A stage were she can get now really crazy.

When she wants. She currently is still at Agony, wait, not really.
But she still seems ashamed since she doesn’t see any other way how it will end.
She has to ask someone if there is an existing Market or so.

She could intrude in that market, without (hopefully) changing a (probably nonexistent) too much.

The Wolfs, by the way, began to lick Chloe, since they were worried about their owner.
Chloe begins to ruffle those two.

They will definitely get Fluffy Fur.
