After checking his options, Aion decided to go with the Undying Lord. He imagined that it would be a class that would grant him some extra survivability despite being a mage class. He had faced a lot of annoying mages recently, so that he couldn't be wrong about it. He never dealt with poison that much, but it was better having it than not having it. Once the chance comes, it will level up even faster.

"I guess I should use the processed magic stones to refine the Undead's Staff as much as possible," Aion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I can see that the class is at least fifty percent better than the previous one considering only the effects of the parameters, so making the refinement reach the max level and the class at level thirty will be enough for me to become as strong as the complete necromancer class. Speaking of which…"

Aion checked his inventory, and he confirmed that his death knights were still there and their levels were the same. He couldn't test if he could summon them, though.

"The next floor is the sixth… I guess we can call it a day once we defeat the enemy there, but I don't think that it will be easy," Sauros said. "So, don't drop your guard down. I guess my rune should help you in case something happens."

Aion could only nod, even though he actually wanted to sigh. In the end, it didn't seem like his powers would be enough for him to reach the top… but it was only natural, given how many crazy monsters and creatures existed in the past… while he had the blood of two powerful bloodlines and that system, it would be weird if he were the world's strongest when he was just sixteen. Even more so if he thought that he was the strongest of all periods.

"I just need to be patient… Force Release will make me unstoppable once it reaches a certain level," Aion thought. "No need to get impatient. Remember how you built your strength since the day you were reborn."

After that, the group began to climb to the next floor, and they quickly confirmed that the place was as big as the previous one. At the same time, they could feel a lot of mana there… something really powerful was going to be summoned there.

Even with their guard up, the group couldn't help but frown when a single person appeared after a few seconds. Moreover, that person didn't have a cloak to cover their entire body… the person didn't have gray skin like it was dead either. Thanks to that, Aion didn't attack first… that enemy wasn't like the others. After a close inspection, Aion confirmed that the enemy was a man who had short brown hair and some tattoos on his arms. He was quite skinny, but he had a certain air around him…

With his spear in hand, Aion decided to play defensively for a change since he felt that he had seen someone like that before, but he couldn't remember where… Sauros and Seris felt the same way.

All of a sudden, the enemy put his hands together like he was offering a prayer, and then in the next moment, several massive Fireballs appeared around him. Sauros and Seris fired to make those explode, but their bullets only were consumed by the flames.

Aion furrowed his eyebrows, and he couldn't block them the normal way. When the fireballs began to move, he covered his spear in ice and made the weapon spin around him. The magic projectiles gained speed and then moved toward him, but before they could hit, they collided against the spear.

Several powerful explosions that made the entire floor tremble for several seconds happened, and the temperature of the room increased. Still, Aion managed to block the attack, but Sauros and Seris could tell that he wasn't happy with it… something was bothering him.

The enemy joined his hands again, and several earth spears were summoned this time. Aion clicked his tongue when he noticed their angle… they would fly toward Seris and Sauros if he dodged. Blocking will be a pain since earth spears were pretty heavy, and those were quite large. Considering their numbers, Aion could only block by spinning his spear, but facing them head-on wasn't a good solution…

The battle had just started, but Aion was already pissed since the enemy wasn't trying to overwhelm them even though he seriously could… they were just being tested. Aion clicked his tongue and then dashed toward the enemy. At the same time, the spears were thrown at him…

Aion's weapon blocked three of them while it was being pushed away, and two others reached him. Thanks to Sauros' rune, they began to move slowly when they got close to him, but only slow enough for Aion to punch them a few times after covering his fists with ice magic. From the enemy's perspective, it looked like Aion just got insanely fast all of a sudden… and then he smiled…
