The Town Of Goddess

" It's the same MO as others, there's no doubt about it. Her state is catatonic, with bruising on the body and vaginal tears. Howard we must leave at once, His Holiness will likely want to hear about this right away " Said the Lady in the doctor's coat wearing the black one-piece dress.

" Right! We will take my car, one of my officers can take yours to your home Dr Jane " replied Officer Howard. I recognized him, He was the police chief of the town and Dad's older brother. 

' Follow them Jonathan ' said the goddess's voice inside my head. I flinched at hearing this voice straight from inside my mind and stumbled along some branches on the ground. 

" Guys, Put her in the ambulance and inform the family, this is a special situation, same as before, and her family needs to be informed asap. They can visit her tomorrow morning, and also tell them that Dr. Mark will best explain her condition and recovery process. " Officer Howard said to the officers on the scene. The nurses put the woman who still looked like she had seen a demon or a ghost. She didn't react to anything. The paramedics put her on a stretcher and she was loaded into the ambulance. Following this, Officer Howard and Dr. Jane, the lady wearing a one-piece blank dress underneath the doctor's coat, got in his police car. 

I picked up myself and wondered how to follow them 'I can't chase a car. But the goddesses told me to follow them, how to get about it?'.

I had heard His Holiness's mention so It was possible that they will go to the temple, I could get to it on foot, but how to sneak in, It wasn't possible to enter without the guards knowing about it. They are at every entrance and roaming the grounds. Scaling the walls is not an option as they are high and straight without any crevice present for proper footing, I checked almost all walls with my friends when we tried to scale the walls as a kid. Well, the only thing we got of it was scolding from the guards once they had caught us. 

' You will be able to climb the walls Jonathan ' said the goddess's voice again. Damn, this was getting annoying, She can hear my thoughts and watch my actions, I feel like I am on display here. 

I made my way to the temple on foot, I got to the wall closest to the residence building of the temple. Beyond this huge wall was a short distance between the building and the wall, If I could climb it, I would have to cross that distance quickly and make sure no one saw me. But how will I climb the wall?

I placed my hand and tried to place my foot and leap on the wall to get some height to climbing, As soon I placed my foot, It felt like It perfectly found the wall as a step, I saw nothing there, but my foot felt like a step. I put another foot and the same, It found a step, and I was off the ground. But I felt nothing on my hands. I climbed the wall slowly and peeked my head from out top to see anyone on the other side. There was no one. The car park was on the opposite side of the temple grounds. It was night now so lights lit up pathways and I could see a guard on patrol walking away from my position. I quickly crossed the wall and climbed down slowly. I sneaked towards the building entrance. Now I just had to find the Master Bedroom or His Holinesses's room. I knew It was on the higher floors as on the below floor was the residence of brothers and sisters in training. I opened the side door and was greeted by a low-lit hallway with a door to the stairs on the right side of the hall. Stepping my foot as quietly as possible, crossing the hall with doors on each side. I opened the door to the stairs and started climbing. As I climbed to where the stairs ended, to the 5th floor. I opened the door and found another large hallway with 2 big doors at the end, forming a Y-shaped path, with small doors on each side, I assumed these doors lead to rooms of brothers and sisters. As I stepped into the hall towards the door. I heard a noise at my back as the elevator door opened, I quickly opened the door nearest to me and stepped inside. As I stepped inside, I could hear the clear moans of a couple in the same room, having intense sex.

Their voices suggested they were down the right room on the bed against the wall on a bed and in intense heat, The room's entrance was a small hall with openings to other small rooms inside. 

I looked through the small rift in the door to the outside to see who came through the elevator. It was Officer Howard and Dr. Jane being guided by a Young Sister.

" You can wait in his holiness's office, Officer, He will be with you shortly. " She said as she opened one of the big doors and let them in. After which she went in the elevator again. 

I was gonna go out but the moaning of the couple in the room was getting louder, my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to peek on them a little. I sneaked to their room and looked inside, they were naked. The sister was lying on the bed and the brother kept pounding her intensely while he sucked one of her boobs intensely while she moaned from delight, her face making a lewd expression with her saliva streaming out of her. " Good Evening Officer, Dr Jane, Please have a seat," said the voice of His Holiness, Marcus Drake.

" Thank You, Your Holiness" Replied Officer Howard.

" I have prepared a fresh pot of coffee Officer, Doctor, please feel free to pour it yourself," Said Her Holiness Elena Cornelious.

" I am sorry to come here without a prior appointment but the situation calls for it, I'll get straight to the point, There has been a 5th attack. Dr. Jane confirmed it, same as before, the victim was found abandoned, someone saw her and called us, and we followed up, She was found fully conscious in a catatonic state with bruises and signs of struggle. We have sent her to Ward X and informed the family. The Victim's name was Eliza Jones, she worked with the merchant's office. She was reported missing yesterday. Fearing the worst, I had the search party hit the ground asap. We discovered her abandoned car on the highway leading away from the town. But It didn't look it she was running away from here, The forensics confirmed that her car was placed there during the time we thought the crime was happening. " Said Officer Howard.

" From her condition and the state of her body, I can say she endured it for hours and there were multiple persons who took her. The DNA found from the samples will get us closer to the actual number, Dr Mark has been informed about this and he will begin her treatment tomorrow. "Followed up Dr Jane. 

" 5 Victims this year Officer, How many more till we find the source of this, The Cult has been avoiding your people effectively and It surprises me that your team doesn't even have a slighted idea about where their hideout could be," Said Marcus in a tone which frightened me. 

" I am truly sorry Your Holiness and I will resign if I have to but there seem to be no leads on this case, I have run the DNAs and cross-checked with everyone in the town, they don't even seem to be related to us, it's all outsiders. The placement of bodies doesn't suggest that throughout the town's location pointing to any particular location in general, All victims were recovered across random spots in the town in the same state. The victims have had their memories severely impacted. We tried under the guidance of Dr Mark to ask questions but it only resulted in their memory of the event triggering them and sending them into a frenzy " said Officer Howard, defeatedly. 

" Well Officer you shouldn't beat yourself off too much because of this, The cult has been one step ahead this whole time, They are smart enough, they have evaded capture for 3 centuries now. But They always disappear after 2 or 3 victims each time. But this time, it's 5 and that also within a year. It tells me they are up to something. " Said Elena. 

" Taking someone against their will is the most heinous crime of all, We can't let them continue like this. Assemble your finest men and have them check out every abandoned building, Even outside the town limits if required. You can recruit more people to manage the town but from this point on all your top officers need to be on this case, If it is what I fear it is then we are about to lose everyone in the Town " Said  Marcus boldly and with conviction.

" Yes, Your Holiness " replied Officer Howard.

As I kept listening, the elevator light went up and the display showed it coming to this floor. It was away just a few floors. I needed to get out. They might not see me but I can't take the risk, I felt like I've already heard too much. I went to the stairs, climbed down crossed the short path, and climbed the walls. As I got out of the temple, I went towards my home. As I kept walking, I found myself sweating profusely.
I called out to the goddess and found no answer. ' Damn it, Damn it, when you need her where is she gone '.

I didn't wanna go home, I was scared and probably wouldn't be able to hide it from Mom and Dad. I needed to talk to someone, anyone. My hands were shaking.

' they took her forcefully, that means..' I couldn't bear to complete the thought but somehow I knew what it would end with.

I didn't know anything about any of it, a cult, with 5 victims, and no one is able to catch them, which means people were not safe. That means Sofia, Mom My Sisters. The thoughts scared me. I can't bear to think of it. 

I kept walking and walking. I don't know where I was walking to. I was just consumed with what I had seen and heard, The face of Eliza was burned into my memory, and I was horrified now learning how it came to be like that. 

I found myself in front of Sofia's house. I checked the time, It was 10. I had been walking for quite a while now and was covered in sweat. I called London to inform her I wouldn't be home and was staying over at Sofy's.

" Hey Sis, It's Me," I said.

" Oh Hey, Where are you, it's 10 PM, Mom's already mad that you missed dinner, " said London.

" I am at Sofy's, I think I'll spend the night here," I said.

" Oooooh, My brother's banging Sofia again, I for sure thought you were gonna come after me or Mom, I am jealous," She said teasingly but I only got frustrated at her tone, I wasn't in the mood for Jokes or anything.

" Okay Bye," I said and cut the call.

Next, I called Sofia.

" Hey Babe, I though you forgot about me," She said, sounded cheery as she always was. Her voice was soothing to me. 

" I am down by your house, I am coming up directly into your room, don't inform uncle or auntie. I wanna talk to you alone " I said.

" Of course, I like sneaking around them anyways, come up quick babe, I will unlock the door for you to sneak in, Mom and Dad are in the living room so you can just come up, " She said.

" No need, Just meet me directly in your room " I replied.

" Wait how are you gonna come up " she asked.

I cut the call and sneaked into her garden towards just below her window on the first floor. I climbed the wall and opened her window. She wasn't inside, she must still be downstairs. I climbed inside and her door opened.
