Tokyo Ghoul: Fanfiction

“What are you smiling so weirdly while looking at me for? You wanted some aswell?” I asked looking at Kanou.

“Your right eye took the form of Kakugan while you were busying yourself with your food” Knaou replies without minding my earlier words.

I got up from my seat and went to the washroom after asking for directions from Kanou. I entered the washroom and what appeared in front of the mirror was my reflection, the same body built like before the surgery, my mouth smeared with some blood from my meal and a sexy and looking ghoul eye on my right eye.

“Strange”

I said to myself as I felt something was wrong with my eye, I soon remembered Kaneki’s mask and it had an eyehole in the left side, didn’t it?...Yep, that’s how it was, so my kakugan is on the right side instead of how it was on the left side for Kaneki...Maybe it depends on luck...Whatever it is, I hope this doesn’t serve as a disadvantage.

I washed my face and mouth from the leftover food material on it and then went back to Kanou in the living.

“So happy?” Kanou asked me when he saw me returning from the washroom.

“Very, I just hope that you won’t tell the CCG about my existence,” I said while smiling.

“As long as your existence doesn’t prove a hindrance for my future research projects, I won’t be making things difficult for the both of us, feel free to visit me in future if you’ve any doubts regarding your new body.” Kanou said.

I nodded and bid my farewell to Kanou and went to my house via train. While sitting inside the train filled with people I suddenly focused my attention on my breathing and welp humans have started to smell good...even that groggy old man in front of me smells not bad….that beauty over there busy with her phone looks the most enticing though, be it meeting her before becoming a ghoul or after becoming one I would not hesitate to eat her in both the cases…

I reached my house just before midnight, washed myself a bit and then lied on my bed wondering how I should start my ghoul life before going to sleep.

I woke up early in the morning like usual, brushed my teeth, prepared a toast, applied honey between the toast and started to dig in, after enjoying a few bites I suddenly remembered something and vomited my food out…

“WHAT THE FUCK!!”
