Tomboy Island

Day 6 – Uncertain Progression – Finale – Dreaming of Change

The waking mind drifted away into a deep slumber. In its absence, the unthinking instinct put together the dream.

The instinct was exhilarated.

The harem had been gathered, in just 6 days! Truly, the return to nature was what the reason required to discover its true calling.

For the first time since the birth of Alex, the instinct found itself lagging behind the opportunities the reason offered. The body was evolving at a speed not quite up to the level of accomplishment achieved. Then again, the instinct was only starting to inspect the day’s gains on a deeper level….

Spoiler

The experiences of the day, from the fae encounter to the completion of the harem, had greatly strengthened the body. Not physically, but in terms of mental acuity and social aptitude. Both very important traits for the harem king Alex was starting to be.

Still, the instinct did not yet have the power to expand in any greater fashion… everything around had moved too quickly for the soul to soak in the latent magic… how bothersome.

Spoiler

Five new connections had been established. One of them had changed on its own. Similarly, one of the previously connected, albeit not fully submitted, women had awoken a change on her own. Such things were bound to happen. The instinct was the best at guiding the souls of the women who had submitted to it, but they were still independent actors. They could make their own decisions if they so chose.

Still, four new women were connected. Four souls that could use… guidance.

Spoiler

The instinct turned to Sara first. The soul of the tennis pro squirmed under his approach, but remained open to his advances. She was shy and focused in equal measure. What form would a soul like that wish to dwell in?

Spoiler

The instinct suddenly realized that there was no need for this separation between decisions anymore. All of them were now part of one whole. Stretching thin, then contracting suddenly, the soul of the harem king gathered his submissives in one place. They joined him willingly, the tug more a reminder than a requirement to move them.

On the planes physical and astral, they were connected until death did them part or until reasons found a way to ruin this good thing.

The other three newcomers were swiftly inspected.

There was Jane, the stoic friend and competitive archer. Her eyes were as keen as her true depravity was still suppressed. Alex would coax it out of her session after session. This woman enjoyed the act of being trained. She would also enjoy being changed to suit her mind’s needs, no doubt.

There was Niara, a woman from the craft of humanity. The dark-skinned woman was trained in matters of the field, a runner first, and general athlete second. She was quiet, a tad antisocial, but eager to join this tribe.

Finally, there was Astrid, the most tomboy out of all of them. The Swedish runner was sportsy and chatted like a man, but knew that she was a woman all the same.

What to do for all of them?

Spoiler

Choices were made swiftly.

Sara, with her skittish nature and bottom-heavy form would benefit from the spirit of the rabbit.

Jane was an archer and her skills would be further elevated by moving with the grace of an elf.

Niara joined the pack as a loyal, if quiet member and would show herself as a wolf.

Astrid, from the way she had lived her life to the point where she had suddenly stumbled, was as whimsical and difficult to pin down as a fairy.

The four souls took the decisions with eager nods. They did not leave to begin the changes to their bodies, instead drawing from the connected web of mana and soul that the harem now was.

With that pool of shared power came a few new possibilities. The island had frozen their physical changes at the point of their most groomed, with a few exceptions here and there. Now that their magic was stirring, such freezing could be undone in places and accelerated in others. Only a few girls at a time, but it could be done nonetheless…

Spoiler

Simple changes were made. Buzzcuts had their attraction, but not in combination with with things that sprouted from the scalp. It just looked better with at least a little hair.

The instinct lifted the seals on the hair growth of Evelyn and Janette, then reverted the effect of it until the hair would grow a fair bit over night, certainly enough to be seen.

And so the choices were made.

The work was done, the instincts pulled back.

The underlying mind settles within reality once more.

With the dawn comes a new chance at expanding life.
