My name is Onora Emi and I just met the love of my life, Takahiro Yuuki, when I was coming back from my club activities.
I'm happy to meet him after almost two weeks without being able to see him.
He hasn't been to my house lately, I'll have to ask my brother why.
I've loved Takahiro-kun since elementary school, it was a love that was born after he saved me.
When I was in elementary school I met my brother and brought a boy to play with him in his room.
He seemed to be a very shy boy and didn't seem to have much presence in some places.
"Emi-san, this is Takahiro Yuuki, he's my friend from school."
"H-hello, nice to meet you."
"Hello, nice to meet you too."
I didn't pay much attention to him, he was just another boy my brother played with, that's what I thought at the time.
I regret having had those thoughts about him.
Takahiro-kun studied at the same school as me, sometimes we would run into each other in the hallways, but we never said hello.
Then one day, at the end of school, a boy called me into an empty classroom and confessed to me.
His way of dressing and his hair looked very much like a delinquent.

“Sorry, but I’m already interested in someone.”
That was clearly a lie, I wasn’t interested in anyone, I found it really annoying.
But trying to explain it to him would be a waste of time, so I made one up about it.
“Why don’t you stay with me.”
“Hello?!”
“Why don’t you dump him and stay with me, I’m definitely more fun.”
(I don’t like where this conversation is going.)
With a bad feeling about him, I turn to leave, but his hand stops me.
“Where are you going, I haven’t finished talking yet.”
“Let me go, I don’t owe you any explanation.”
He grabs both of my hands and presses them against a table.
“You know, I don’t think you have a boyfriend, I think you’re cheating on me.”
“Let me go.”
While I was trying to get away from him, the classroom door opened.
“Hey!! Let her go.”
“Huh?!”
The Yankee boy (delinquent) lets go of me and walks away, I look at the door and see that it was Takahiro-kun, my brother’s friend. I go over to him.
“I recorded what you were doing with her, if you come near her again I’ll show this video to the principal and I’ll post it on the Internet too.”
Takahiro-kun points the screen of his cell phone at him showing the video he had just recorded.
Takahiro-kun seems to be scared, he’s shaking a little.
The Yankee boy, seeing the video, looked at me and Takahiro-kun in fright, then he apologized and ran away, he didn't even look like the boy who tried to attack me.
“Thank you for helping me Takahiro-kun.”
“Y-you're welcome, you should be careful with these kinds of things, you can't go to closed places alone, you're very beautiful and it could happen again.”
(G-beautiful?!)
I've always been called beautiful, but when Takahiro-kun called me that it was something different, I felt very happy.
“Well, I just came to get something I forgot and I'm going now, bye and be careful Onora-san.”
“Okay, thanks again, Takahiro-kun.”
Takahiro-kun picked something up from under his desk and left.
I also picked up my things and went home.
From that day on I became more aware of Takahiro-kun, I started thinking about him a lot.
Every time I saw him at school, I would greet him and walk beside him.
During breaks, I would always go to his classroom to eat with him. At home, when he went to play with my brother, he would always sit next to him and watch him play video games.
It seemed that Takahiro-kun was a little confused by my intimacy at first, but he later got used to my presence.
My brother also asked me why I was so close to Takahiro-kun. I just said that I wanted to be his friend too. My brother was happy with that and accepted my answer.
