This incident of mine can serve as a case to guide children when dealing with gossip and slander – don’t be afraid, stand up bravely and clear your name. The more you shrink back, the more the rumors will chase you.”
Roy felt sorry for her, but he also knew she rarely changed her mind once she made a decision.
“Alright, you be in charge of this matter, and if necessary, use your authority to pressure others. I’ve got your back no matter how big the problem is.”
