Type-Moon, but the Servant is Tom

Chapter 67: Tom Gets Bashed

Entering the room, it was completely different from what he had imagined.

"Hmm... so ordinary." Bai Song looked around and exclaimed in disappointment, feeling no atmosphere of a homicidal maniac's home.

Is this what they call the home of a serial killer? Even that haunted house before had more ambiance than this.

Compared to Bai Song, whose face had lost all excitement, Tom and Jerry seemed much happier, especially Tom. The moment Bai Song opened the door, Tom instantly sprang out from his clothes with a loud "meow," moving so fast that even Usain Bolt would shed tears watching him.

Looking here and there, Tom's eyes were replaced by golden starry eyes.

Judging from Tom's excitement, it was clear that the previous haunted house had truly left a psychological impact on him.

"Smack! Thud! Smack! Thud!" Tom rushed to a door, pulled it open, and joyfully found everything inside to be normal. He then closed it with a "smack" and immediately dashed to the next room, repeating this process over and over again.

Initially, Bai Song watched Tom's performance with amusement, enjoying the sight of him opening and closing one room after another, as if he were peeking around corners while playing a first-person shooter game. Even if he saw something he shouldn't have, it would only harm Tom's eyes, and he would be fine.

However... as Tom continued circling the entire house in this manner, going through the basement, the first floor, and the second floor, he didn't stop. Instead, he re-opened the first door he had initially entered and repeated what he had just done.

"Smack!" When the third time came to open the first door, Bai Song decisively punched Tom on the head with his knuckle.

Shaking his hand after the hit, Bai Song said speechlessly, "...Stop it already!"

However, after being hit on the head, Tom's head just bounced down for a moment and then returned to its original position. With a wide smile still on his face, he slammed the door again and suddenly stopped, shaking his body upwards. The entire cat, imitating Aqua's iconic pose (TN:this face ), maintained it for a short while before falling straight to the ground.

"Jingling, jingling." One golden star after another popped out from above Tom's head, forming a queue and bouncing towards the door, accompanied by a crisp sound.

The row of little stars on the ground jumped out first and had already left the house, while the golden stars behind were still jumping out.

If it weren't for the fact that these little stars had four limbs resembling human appendages and were walking using two of their points as feet, any motionless position they took would have immediately turned this road into the Avenue of Stars.

"Thud!" After the last little star jumped out, it turned around and directly kicked Tom's head, causing his head to rise several centimeters.

Feeling the intense pain in his head, Tom sat up, holding it and groaning. A visible swelling appeared on his head at a rapid pace. "MEDIC!!!"

"Phew!" After delivering that kick with extreme finesse, the little star spat on its own 'foot,' wiped it, and then swiftly followed the rest of the group, maintaining perfect synchronization.

Bai Song's gaze followed the stars as they exited the house, and once they were outside, all the stars evaporated into thin air.

Turning back to look at Tom, who had a large swelling on his head, Bai Song asked, "Are you alright?"

Saying that, Bai Song cautiously extended the index finger of his right hand and touched the swelling on Tom's head. To Bai Song's surprise, when he touched the swelling, Tom winced and closed his eyes.

But here comes the crucial part—the swelling actually decreased slightly with the touch of his finger!

Seeing the swelling visibly diminish, Bai Song's eyes brightened, and he immediately said to Tom, who had a bewildered expression, "Just bear with it."

Before Tom could fully understand what Bai Song meant, Bai Song's finger began rhythmically tapping on the swelling on Tom's head. "Ow~"

"Ow~!"

"Ow~!!"

"Ow~!!!"

...

With each tap of Bai Song's finger, Tom would wince in pain. Thankfully, Ryuunosuke's house—Bai Song's house—was rather secluded, and it was daytime when most of the neighbors were off to their miserable jobs. Otherwise, someone would surely suspect that something illicit was happening here.

Finally, after the last tap, the swelling on Tom's head completely disappeared as if it had never existed.

Feeling the change on his head, Tom looked up with his eyes and joyfully discovered that the swelling had vanished. He immediately reached up to touch his head, and indeed, there was no swelling at all!

But before he could celebrate for too long, a new swelling emerged from the same spot where the previous one had vanished, and this time it was even more formidable!

"Cough, cough, I did my best..." Seeing that Tom had ended up with an even bigger swelling after Bai Song's unsuccessful tapping, Bai Song promptly grabbed a bag and hurriedly fled to the living room.

Leaving behind a mirror that appeared out of nowhere, Tom stared at his head with a sorrowful expression.

During the escape, Bai Song pondered for a moment and felt that something was missing. If it were a usual embarrassing moment for Tom, Jerry, the little mouse, would have been the first to rush to the scene and mock him. But this time, Jerry hadn't appeared to tease Tom, clearly indicating that something had gone wrong, and it was a big problem.

"Huh? Where's Jerry?" Bai Song reached into his pocket and realized that at some point, Jerry had vanished without him even noticing. Bai Song didn't know when Jerry had disappeared. He even opened the plastic bag containing his lunch and glanced inside, but Jerry was nowhere to be found.

It wasn't until he entered the living room that Bai Song noticed a nearly perfect semicircular mouse hole along the wall, complete with a door. At the first sight of this mouse hole, Bai Song immediately understood that it was probably Jerry's new home.

However... Bai Song didn't understand why there would be such a mouse hole in Ryuunosuke's house, as if it had been prepared in advance, just waiting for Jerry to move in. It seemed excessively thoughtful.

But then, Bai Song noticed that the refrigerator door in the kitchen was open, which puzzled him. Bai Song glanced in the direction of the kitchen and prepared to knock on Jerry's door to confirm if he was inside.

However, right at that moment, his mind suddenly received a burst of notification sounds.

"Beep beep beep~~~!!!"
