What is this ‘Dimensional Chat’ ?

A/n: Truthfully I don't have any motivation to continue this fanfic yet for some reason I still feel bad about abandoning this.

Writing now is not as fun as when I first did it, I didn't understand what led me to write this.

I need to find that feeling once again and I want to continue my other work but my schedule is tight.

I hate to be grown-up sometimes 😔

The atmosphere becomes heavy after Satria bring up the topic.

Everyone in the carriage is silent because deep down they know what Satria said is true and the kids like Fran are not supposed to work especially dangerous work like being an adventure.

'What I'm thinking of approving Fran's decision to be adventure? It's true a girl her age should not do dangerous things and have fun with kids her age even feel the warmth of family, not witness the ugly side of this world.' The living sword said internally and thought back to his past life.

'What this young man said is true but it's either that or starving to death. In this world children without privilege don't have many choices if they want to survive in this harsh world.' The merchant understands what this young man points out, He has a daughter too and does not allow her to be adventurous but to offer such a thing is this young master noble perhaps? Then it explains the wisdom and spoiled behaviour from him.

Naruto since he landed in the new world understands child labor is wrong and that his former village is practising it giving it bad taste too. He once again remembers all the awful memories he experienced at a young age. He be damned if allowed her to suffer like him.

"What do you expect from our world Naruto? Our country is a military and everyone must participate in defending the country." Son spoke out, That old man would do anything to strengthen his country.

"Yes, but it's not forced like you said. You can choose to be a civilian or a ninja. Right?" Lucky Seven asks their opinion.

"You can choose? In my country, if you have the potential to be a Ninja you must enter the army without any objection or you will be shunned or killed." Isobu remarked it's not without reason that Kirigakure is called Blood Mist Village. 

"Hmmm, These bastard is always hungry for power. That's why I hate humans." Kurama hated everyone until this blonde spoke nonsense to him and ended up being his partner.

Fran can't answer and only gives him a silent reply. She hates to be treated like a fragile woman, especially by him. Yet on the one side, she is happy Shin cares about her this much but still she yearns to explore the world and then deliver revenge on the people who murdered her parent and sold her into slavery. After that, she can continue her life in peace. 

Naruto caught sight of the face Fran was making right now, It's a face that seeks revenge like his past friend. What story is behind this? He wants to know and stop her from becoming like him.

Satria feels guilty about bringing up this conversation and decides to change the topic to melt this unpleasant atmosphere.

"How about we rest there? I feel hungry now you guys too right?" Satria asks everyone and points at a lake near his location as their spot to rest.

"Good idea Shin-sama, My horse needs to rest too." The merchant agreed with him.  

Fran nodded and touched her belly, She was hungry too.

"Sure, I feel the same too and allow me to treat you guys to the Food of GOD," Naruto speaks proudly can't wait to introduce his favourite food to group members.

"What is this Food of God?" The sword is interested only in receiving a grin from Naruto and Satria who already understand what this food of god only groans.

Naruto summons out a scroll from nowhere and takes out multiple stuff for cooking like a BBQ grill and all utensils you require to use for cooking, fresh ingredients, a table, a chair, a canopy, Even Music and a speaker. Not forget the last is his Food of God or instant ramen from Ichiraku Ramen.

"You well-prepared dobe, Let me handle the cooking because I'm in the mood for it," Satria said.

"So, What is this food of gods?" The sword is curious about what this Demon God mean by Food of Gods. Demon is scary and evil it's what he knows but the man in front of him is far from scary even too kind to be a demon.

"You soon know and be ready to convert as one of us when you taste it, Sorry... I forget you are a sword. How regretful to see someone unable to taste this heavenly flavour." Naruto said with a sad tone.

The merchant's eyes become sparkling when sees all the unknown stuff Naruto take out from his scroll, Every item he has is far beyond this world's technology and if this man wants to sell one of them to him it could revolutionise the industry of this world.

Satria put the camera near him and began doing a monologue in front of it while recording himself while preparing the steak. He after all is a food blogger.

"What is Shin doing Shishou?" Fran didn't understand why Shin was talking by himself in front of a strange item she had never seen.

"Hey, Is he perhaps a food blogger or something like that?" The sword asks the blonde man in front of him.

"Maybe? Honestly, I don't know much about him." Naruto shrugged his shoulder.

Satria is happy the stupid blonde has A-4 Japan Beef in his inventory, With this he can make something delicious.

He heats the grill to medium-high heat and prepares all the ingredients he needs like steak, olive oil, salt, and paper.

He then creates the sauce first mixing ketchup, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.

Don't forget to include vegetables too.

Some of the ingredients he buys from Dimensional Chat Shop because the stupid blonde doesn't have some of the ingredients he needs in his magical scroll.

While waiting for the grill ready, He rubs the steak with olive oil and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.

"My boy is so good at it, If you show this side more often every girl will fall in love with you hehe after all girls love their men conquer them with food." Fatalis want to taste his cooking very badly, Her boy is rare to cook for someone but once he does it you can't stop eating his cooking and that is one reason Valiana don't want to separate from him.

"What do you expect from the incredible me?" Satria said with a proud face. 

"What food do you make for us, Shin?" Fran asks Satria who is now ready to grill the meat on the BBQ Grill the smell is promising making her interested in the dish Satria made for her. 

"Just sit like a good girl and let me surprise you," Satria replied to her and patted her head then continued focusing on his cooking. Fran is frowning because he treats her like a kid, She is already an adult. 

After 15 minutes of grilling the steak, He was ready to serve the food and decorate his steak dish. For the drink, he makes tea tarik with ice for everyone.

No alcohol allowed because Fran is in here.

"Yo! The food and drink is ready." Satria passed the food and drink on the table.

"What a fragrant smell~ Not only are you a good fighter but a good cook too Shin-sama, Naruto-dono can you sell your stuff to me? Please I am willing to pay high for it." The merchant does not give up on buying his property.

"No, It's my private stuff I don't plan to sell it. I am sorry but I must refuse." Naruto once again refused him, Even if he sold it he couldn't use the money in his world.

"It looks delicious and the smell is nice too, I never had something like this in my whole life," Fran said with a joyful tone.

"This is called wagyu tenderloin steak and I make sure the meat is very tender even the kid has no difficulty chewing it. Please go ahead and dine it don't forget to review my food okay." Satria said to them confident with his cooking skills.

Everyone begins to eat the steak on their plate and they are all shocked when bite the dish Satria made for them.

"No way... I don't know cow meat can be this tender. It's so good Shin-sama!" The merchant never tasted food like this in his entire life, The combination of the meat with brown sauce was very delicious. It's rich in flavour even words cannot describe the taste. "The drink is refreshing too and the sweetness is my liking. How wonderful." He liked the taste of the drink he prepared.

"You are... wonderful cook, How about becoming a chef instead of a fighter from now on?" Naruto and his friend inside him approved of Satria food.

"The meat is very tender and I love this! Not forget the drink he made for me is so tasty too." Fran feasted at his cooking cheerfully, Never had she tasted food and drink this delicious in her entire life. 'Not only he is kind, strong, and intelligent, Shin is good at cooking too. Living with him surely will be... No! I cannot think like that until I find the culprit behind my misery.' She blushed very red imagining life and being spoiled by him daily.

"Is his food really good? Oh no... Fran's face displays that she has become more affectionate to him. No... I never give Fran to you Bastard!!!" The sword does not accept this.

Satria makes a small smile. "I am glad you all are satisfied with it, By the way, my food is better than your Food of God, right? Oh... God of Hope." He tries to taunt Naruto and pressure him to forsake his belief in his stupid ramen religion.

"Ha?! Of course, my ramen is better, Let's compete over which food they liked between your steak or mine ramen?" Naruto scoffed, This brat likes to pick a fight with someone huh? Fine, let this Uzumaki Naruto show the world how great Ichiraku Ramen is.

(Ten Minute Later)

Naruto kneeling in front of everyone.

"No way... How can my ichiraku ramen get defeated by him?"

"I am sorry Naruto-san but Shin-sama's food is better than yours." The merchant announced the result but still he wanted to know more about this instant ramen and how to make it.

Fran nodded agreeing with the merchant. "The meals Naruto-san prepare for us are good but Shin food is just on another level."

"Hahaha bow to me peasants and know your place." Satria is happy to win against the stupid blonde, No way his cooking is defeated by mere instant noodles. "Fran, Please come closer to me for a second."

Fran follows Satria's words and comes closer to him.

Satria take something from his pouch bag and take out his dress-up camera.

He takes a shot of Fran with his camera and her tattered clothes change into a black robe covering her beautiful white dress.

"Do you like my present?" Satria asks her thoughts.

"This is..." Fran is surprised to see her dirty clothes turn into a gorgeous robe and she hugs him immediately. "Thank you, It's the first time someone gave me a present and I promise to take care of it."

"Just in a short time this guy has already taken a spot in my wielder heart, Can you stop doing this? If this continues my Fran gonna be more influenced by you damn'it!" The sword knows this guy truly cares about her but can't let a slide the feeling he is a bad influence on his wielder.

"What is that?!" Once again the merchant is shocked by these two, Who is these two mysterious man? How many innovations do they keep in their sleeves? Did they not realize everything they show to me can change the world for be better?

"You look cute and beautiful Fran, I must capture this moment." Naruto takes many pictures of her from every side.

After packing their equipment they finally continue the travel.

Fran right now sits in Satria's lap demanding him to pat her. 

He replied to every question from Dimensional Chat.

Kazuma-sama: "Why @Fran strangely close to @Shin? What you have done to her wicked man?"

Black Cat: "Shin is a good guy please don't think bad of him."

Shin: "Listen to what she told you lolizuma! I did nothing wrong and act like a gentleman who treats his lady well."

Kazuma-sama: "Sounds like you already brainwashed her bastard!"

Evil Spirit: "Stop fighting like a brat you two, You did not answer my question yet @Shin."

Shin: "... Ah yes, What is your question to me?"

Evil Spirit: "Is there a way to use my power without sacrificing my life spawn?"

Robin: "What? Don't tell me what you do when we doing a mission in Peter's world is costing your lifespan?"

Evil Spirit: "Yes little bat but no need to worry, I have my way to handle this problem."

Robin: "How?"

Evil Spirit: "You shouldn't know about it."

Robin: "...."

Shin: "It's a complicated matter but every problem has a solution to fix it, First I must check your conditions to find the issue with your power."

Evil Spirit: "Thanks, If you can help me maybe I can reward you with something fun later 😏."

Shin: "Your fun is bad luck for me."

Fran gives him a sharp look. "What... is this fun... she talking about Shin?"

Naruto gave him a look and told him to not tell her the meaning of fun Kurumi spoke out in chat.

"It's... Yes! It's fun after playing a game or something like that. Don't worry it doesn't have hidden meaning on it Fran." Satria explained to Fran but frankly, he had no idea what the meaning of Kurumi said about fun. 'I hope it's not like I'm though or I will be killed by my wives.'

"If you are scared never forget you have reincarnation skills that allow you back to life after getting killed by your wife's hand," Fatalis reassures him.

"Idiot, It's making it worse."

After a long journey finally they arrived at their destination.

"So, That is Alessa City?" Fran said while eating the chocolate bar Naruto gave to her.

"Wow! This looks like I'm getting sent to another world like in the anime Kurama watching at home." Naruto admired the view in front of him.

"How do we enter? We don't have money nor identity to enter this city." Satria tells the problem, He can enter illegally but still, it's leaving a bad flavour for him as a good citizen.

"I will pay the entry fee, No need to worry." The merchant shows the money he has to pay the group member entering the town.

"You are a good guy Rendou-san, Thank you for your help." Fran thanks him.

"Hahaha don't worry about it and if you need money feel free to come to my place and sell your items to me." The merchant still has not given up purchasing group member goods.

After they successfully enter the town with the help of a merchant and say goodbye to him they decide to look around the city first.

"We already arrived Fran, This is our first city!!!" The sword speaks enthusiastically because tired out after living alone in the wasteland outside.

Now three figures enjoying their walk in the town.

For Satria this place is more fantasy than Kazuma world somehow, It's truly a place where adventure is gathered unlike in Axel.

Fran is happy to catch sight of a new place, Here is the place where she will debut her first time as adventure and become stronger.

The woman in the city blushes when sees Satria and Naruto walk side by side. It's like they are noble even princes from a fairytale.

"Who... are they?"

"So handsome."

"Maybe they are noble who visit the city?"

"Hello Boy, Want to play with Onee-san tonight?" 

Satria and Naruto sweatdropped when they saw a woman in town surrounding them both like honey.

'Not only in DxD but here too? Are you fucking kidding me?' Satria can't believe will experience this in another world too and see Fran hissing at all women who attempt to get closer to him.

"Must be fun to be popular? You make me jealous damned Harem Protagonist!!!" The sword uttered because envious of them, It should be me not him to be surrounded by heroine and he cursed the person who reincarnated him as a damn sword.

"What fun? I should use my hood from the beginning, They are so bothersome." Naruto tries to escape from the crowd of women who surround him.

"Now let's go to the adventure guild first, shall we? Sorry girl but we don't have time to waste." Satria grabbed Naruto and Fran and then teleported them with super speed to the front of the adventure guild.

"He is... Very fast even I am unable to follow his speed? What a fearsome individual... And to think he is still a teenager. I can't imagine how strong he is in his prime." Naruto said internally.

Satria see the girl beside him have a cold face for some reason. "Are you okay Fran? Something troubling you?"

"I just... hate it when women try to get intimate with you, I don't know the reason yet but you can't get close to them okay? Or I will..." Fran threatened and smiled dangerously at him.

"Alright." Her tone right now reminds him of Kiyohime it makes him alarmed, Don't tell me Fran is the same type as her. Why I'm always attracted to dangerous women? No... I can't accept you, Fran, Perhaps come back when you are older?

"You want to collect cat girl, are you? And we have another yandere too huh? Congratulations the time of your demise by your lover's hand is getting closer Satria-kun." Fatalis scare him and make Satria's face turn pale. 

"No!!! As your guardian, I forbid you to have a relationship with him and you stay away from my wielder!!!" The sword stared sharply at Satria only received a mocking grin from him.

"Shishou... Just shut up okay?" Fran said to him with a harsh tone.

"It's all because of you! My sweet Fran become a delinquent huaaaaa!!!" The sword comically crying.

After a while they watch Fran apologize and calm her sword who now crying.

"They make a good team, Their bond is inseparable and Fran herself has the talent to be a good warrior." Naruto believes they both have the potential to be strong and capable of surviving in this harsh world.

Satria nodded. "They are."

Adventure Guild

Alessa City

Now inside the guilt, many people are doing their business. Like planning for the quest, eating, and many more.

Then show women who give some members dead looks and hope some of them die quickly but only think of it internally, Maybe because of the stress they give to her.

"Excuse me, We want to register to the guild." The black cat's little girl suddenly appears and requests to allow her to join the adventure guild.

"Eto..." Instead of responding to the little girl she focuses on two handsome men behind her and charmed by them.

'What? Who are they? Is this perhaps my prince charming who come and save me from this cursed place?' She looked dreamily at the two figures.

"Ara~ Welcome, What can I do for you two gentlemen?" She asks them with a seductive tone.

"We want to register on the guild, Can we?" Satria inquires about her approval to join the adventure guild.

"Three?" Then she remembers the young black cat girl. "Are you sure you want to become adventure?" She doesn't want this little girl to waste her time even life here, It's after all dangerous job and not suited for kids like her.

"Yes, I want to become an adventurer." Fran still does not back down and is determined to be adventurous.

"Okay, But not everybody can become an adventure, To become one you need to pass the test the examiner gives you."

"Okay."

"You can get hurt if you take the test and the adventure guild will not be responsible if something happens to you? You okay with our regulations?" The receptionist tries to intimidate her.

"No problem," Fran says confidently without fear in her face.

"And... You two?" The receptionist asks the white-haired man with a strange shirt and the whiskered man with a hood.

(Satria shirt if you want to steal his look)

"Same as her," Naruto and Satria said together. 

Then they heard some adventure badmouthing them.

"Kehehe, Some spoiled noble brat wants to try becomes an adventure."

"Don't die too early you listen?"

"They so handsome, I wonder where they are come from?"

"Tch, Those guys only have pretty faces nothing more."

"Ignore them, Please follow me." the receptionist guided them to the guild arena to test their skill.

They look at the person sitting in a stone waiting for the new recruiter. "You brat who wants to join the guild?." He says to them.

They only see him without a response and the roof above them is closed, making the arena darker.

"I'm the examiner from adventure guild Alessa guild, Donadrond!." He released his aura to them.

Fran only watches him with a poker face.

Satria yawned and Naruto played with his phone taking pictures of himself with them for his memorial in another world. 

The receptionist surprised those three not even scared of him even when Donadrond-san released his aura.

The sword uses appraisal and checks his status. He thinks is strong but he remembers about people who accompanied them there. 'Well, he's not strong but average maybe? Ha..ha.'

"I will not hold back, I will use all my power not caring who my opponent is." The examiner said to Fran.  

"That's what I want," Fran responded to him.

(Play OST)

Fran was ready to fight him.

"Go Fran, Beat that old man, What's his name? Yes, Doradodol." Satria cheers for her.

"It's Donadrond you bastard, Who will fight me first? You brat?" He asks the opponent in front of him.

Fran nodded.

"You guys ready?" The receptionist asks the fighter in the arena and they take their battle stance. "Then Begin!!!"

Donadrond makes a first move and comes to her to try to attack her with his axe but only gets dodged by Fran.

"Ho... She dodged my attack? Not bad for a newbie." Donadrond grinned feeling this fight not gonna be boring like usual.

'Huft, Almost.' The sword relieved Fran can dodge his attack.

Donadrond jumped and came again to her. "Slam Slash." Only gets dodged by Fran once again.

"Go Fran! I know you can defeat him." Naruto recording her with his phone like Satria doing right now.

They both clash their weapon trying to overwhelm each other until Fran uses magic to raise her STR & AGI.

She cut him and made Donadrond arms bleeding but only healed back.

"HM, Your sword mastery is not bad but it's not enough." Donadrond powers up and continues attacking her.

"I will become Adventure!." Fran says and from the ground appears a hand made from earth magic to hold him.

'Next let me take care of it, Fire Magic, Tri-Explosion.' The sword helps Fran to defeat him.

"Damn you!" The examiner does not expect this little girl to be capable of using Advanced Magic

Fran takes steps back and is ready to thrust her weapon at him. "Take this, Dragon Fang!!!" The attack makes the examiner thrown away until he crashes into the wall of the Arena and is buried in rubble from the wall destroyed by the impact of Fran's attack.

The receptionist is amazed at Fran's skill to think youths this small are capable of defeating Donadrond, She is a prodigy who is rare to come across.  

The examiner only gives her thumb meaning she has passed the test and comes out from the rubble.

"You amazing kid, You pass," Donadrond congratulated her with a smile. "Now it's your two turn." He began to fire up and ready for another round.

"You like to intimidate people right?" Naruto looks at Satria, He just sighs and nods knowing what this blonde means by it. "Let's see how you withstand this?" They both release their immense aura and make people near them breathe heavily.

The receptionist already lost her consciousness and earthquakes can be felt in the entire city when they demonstrate their power to him.

"They are CRAZY!!! WHAT KIND OF MONSTER YOU BEFRIEND FRAN?" The sword is awestruck to discover how strong both of them are.

"What... is this power?!" Donadrond is terrified for the first time in his life when he sees their aura, He somehow can see the shadow of nine giant beasts behind the hooded one and a giant black dragon behind the white-haired one.

The examiner will never forget the terror he experienced now until forever.
