YIN-YANG DEVOURER

An intelligent woman (73)

Hidden Flower Sect, a day earlier.

"It's a relief that we were able to survive the mission.""It was all thanks to Sister Sefia".

"Yes~ Without Sefia's cunning we wouldn't have been able to escape from those damn bandits"

A group of female disciples from the Hidden Flower Sect were walking with cheerful voices as they walked back towards their Sect. They were in a good mood after all they had not only survived a complicated mission but had also collected several spirit stones and resources that would no doubt be of much help to their cultivation.

"No big deal girls... I just did what I thought was convenient" Said the girl named Sefia with a voice of modesty. The girl had an appearance considered normal at best. A slender body with no major curves made her look like a normal flower in the midst of the beautiful roses walking beside her.

"Forget it Sefia! You're too smart!"

"Yes~ If it wasn't for you I'm afraid many of us would be dead by now" Slowly the girls beside her praised her without finishing. It was clear that this normal looking girl's position within the group was quite important.

"Damn... Looks like we're in for a big queue to get in again..." Said one of the female disciples with a tired tone as she saw the huge queue of disciples waiting to make their entrance to the Sect.

Lately the Hidden Flower Sect had become much stricter in controlling its gates due to increased hostilities with neighboring Sects. This was one of the many measures the Sect had taken to prevent infiltration within its territory.

"Did you hear the news? Supposedly a group led by Elder Yurie was ambushed in the mines of Gray Rock City" Said another of the female disciples with a gossipy tone. The girl was certainly quite attractive. She had quite provocative curves which were accompanied by a healthy tan that made her look even more attractive than she already was.

"Really? I hope they're okay... I mean, Elder Yurie is one of the few Elders in the Hall of Discipline who does her job well and helps the others~" Said another small girl of about one meter and forty centimeters. Anyone would mistake her for a girl if it weren't for the huge pair of watermelons she carried on her chest.

"Where did you hear that Lens?" Asked the girl named Sefia to the tan skinned girl whose name was Lens.

"I heard that bitch Gila talking about it with a bunch of her friends."

"Hope nothing happens to them" Said the petite girl as she shook her hands. Her movements caused her two watermelons to visibly shake.

"Don't worry Mendy~ I heard that they sent the core disciple Yu-Hee to go rescue them" Said at that moment another girl inside the group. This girl was totally different from the rest after all appearance was quite elegant, with a slim but moderately curvy body. Undoubtedly the most striking of this disciple would be her long white legs which attracted looks wherever they passed.

At the end of the day it could be said that the group of girls were quite attractive in their own way, with the exception of the girl named Sefia who was average looking at best.

"Mmm if she's the core disciple Yu-Hee then everything should be going well..." Said the small girl whose name turned out to be Mendy.

'You had heard of that too Rayna?"

"Yes~ However I didn't believe it after all some rumors said that the command of the mission had been given to an unknown disciple who supposedly turned out to be the new personal disciple of the Sect Master" said the girl named Rayna hesitantly.

Rayna was the disciple with an elegant bearing whose long legs attracted everyone's attention.

"Hahaha that's impossible... Everyone knows that the Sect Master never takes disciples for herself~ Less if it's a man" scoffed the girl named Lens.

"I know~ I thought the rumors were pretty stupid too, but several acquaintances of mine also confirmed it" Said Rayna with a thoughtful look.

"You what do you think about that Sefia?" asked Lens to the smart girl in their group who had been practically silent during the whole conversation.

"Mmm doesn't sound entirely far-fetched to me..."

"It is well known that the Sect Master's influence in the central courtyard has waned. It wouldn't be strange if she was looking for a way to regain control of the core disciples..." said Sefia while holding her chin.

"And a good way would be by getting his own disciple..." Rayna said as she slammed her fist against the palm of her other hand.

"Exactly."

At that moment the sound of mounts making their way through the disciples attracted the attention of the group of girls.

"OPEN UP!"

"WE BRING WOUNDED"

From the crowd a small convoy began to emerge which was led by a golden eyed young man who rode a giant green snake; behind him was core disciple Yu-Hee and Elder Yurie who followed him.

"Look at that is Elder Yurie! Looks like they managed to rescue her in time!" Said Lens as she pointed towards where Yurie was standing who at that moment came holding Yu-Hee's back.

"That's a relief~ But more importantly. Who the heck is the handsome boy with golden eyes?" Asked Rayna curiously.

"That's right... From his position it would seem that even the core disciple Yu-Hee is following him."

"I think he might be the rumor boy..." Mendy said shyly.

"What? Hell, now that you mention it I remember they said he had a pair of rather beautiful golden eyes" Rayna said as her eyes widened in shock.

Sefia for her part focused solely on Ruvan without ever taking her eyes off the golden eyed boy.

"Hey Sefia! Sefia! Sefiaaa~!"

"Sorry. What happened?" Sefia said with surprise having been awakened from her trance.

"You seem to like that guy ehh" Said Lens with a smile.

"No... I was just thinking about something" Sefia said with a stoic face cutting off any chance of being disturbed by Lens and the rest.

"Tskk... How boring" Lens complained while pouting a little.

Ruvan's Group rushed past them as they headed straight for the Great Gate of the Outer Courtyard. The guards who always acted in a rigorous manner let them pass through without much difficulty.

"Damn... It seems that several female disciples were still injured..."

"That must not have been an easy mission" Muttered Lens and Rayna as they examined the wagons carrying the wounded disciples.

"Did you see the guy in chains?"

"Yeah... He must be a high ranking member of the Wandering Beak Sect" Lens said with a smile as she remembered the poor bastard who came chained in one of the wagons.

"No... That was a disciple from the central courtyard" Sefia said suddenly.

"WHAT? Why do you say so?" the girls asked quickly.

"Because of the color of his robe... Only core disciples of the Wandering Beak Sect wear scarlet robes" Sefia said with a smile.

"Damn! We really made them for those bastards this time" Rayna said with a grin.

"NEXT!"

"HEY YOU!! IT'S YOUR TURN!!" Said one of the gate guards with an annoyed tone seeing how the female disciples were still completely distracted.

"Come on it looks like it's our turn to go in."

"Your ID Jades" Said the armor clad woman crudely.

"Here"

"By the way... Could you call Elder Clarice?" Said at that moment Sefia.

"Why do you want to see Elder Clarice...?" Asked the guard with a raised eyebrow.

"She's an old friend of mine... Tell her Sefia wants to see her" Sefia said with a smile as she handed her a small bag full of spirit stones.

"Well... But don't even think about asking me for this back if she refuses to see you" The lair said as she walked off to a nearby watchtower.

"You're going to ask Elder Clarice for help again?"

"Yes... It's our only way to hide our gains from Bryana" Sefia said with a serious look on her face.

Within seconds a short haired woman came out of the tower with a smile. The woman was wearing full body armor making her look quite capable.

"Sefia! It's good to see you... Come! Come into my office with your friends!"
