YIN-YANG DEVOURER

Ruvan and Xiong Mei traveled for five days before the City of Waves finally appeared in the distance. During this trip the two had talked a little while camping at night.

Xiong Mei had a luxurious and quite special tent, but unfortunately for Ruvan, she never allowed him to enter so he had to sleep alone in his tent. The lonely nights made him miss the warmth he felt in Lira and Su Meiyao's arms.

However, there was something that Ruvan was able to take advantage of and that was holding Xiong Mei's slender and delicate waist while they traveled. Although Xiong Mei was wearing a thick silk dress, this did not prevent the sensation of touch from being bad, but on the contrary, it felt quite pleasant to the touch. 

Xiong Mei as a veteran dual cultivator was able to notice Ruvan's antics but she let them go, at least until Ruvan pretended to lose his balance while grabbing one of her breasts for support. At that moment, without warning, Xiong Mei threw him into the void, causing Ruvan to scream at the top of his lungs as he plummeted towards the ground.

Ruvan thought for a few moments that he was going to die before finally returning to the back of the winged tiger. It didn't take any words from Xiong Mei to know that this had been his punishment for his 'mischief.'

"We're finally here" Xiong Mei said lazily as she looked at the City of Waves.

"It's true… It seems that the time has come to leave this place" Ruvan said with mixed feelings after all in this place he had experienced all kinds of feelings. From hell when he was exiled to love and joy with his brothers in arms.

"I know it's part of your personal life but as your Master I can't help but warn you…I understand that you have formed bonds with those people but at the end of the day those bonds make you much more vulnerable to your enemies. You must start putting aside earthly things to focus on your cultivation if you want to succeed as a cultivator" Xiong Mei said with a serious look while waiting for Ruvan's nod but to his surprise Ruvan ended up answering in disagreement. 

"It is true that having loved ones makes you vulnerable, however it is up to you to be cautious to avoid misfortunes…"

"Relationships as well as earthly things are what give meaning to our lives... What's the point of having everything at our fingertips if we don't know how to enjoy it"

"I know that cultivation makes us feel like Gods over the world but at the end of the day we are still mortals… In my case I prefer to continue sleeping even if I know I no longer need it, I prefer to travel the world trying delicious foods even if I no longer need eat food to survive"

"I'd rather live my life than seclude myself in a room for decades while waiting for a cultivation breakthrough."

"Phew…"

"Forget it… Do whatever you want as long as you help me in my plans" Xiong Mei said with a tired voice as she forgot to lecture Ruvan. Ruvan's words had completely penetrated her after all. 

"What's the point of having everything at our fingertips if we don't know how to enjoy it?" Ruvan said one last time.

Xiong Mei, for her part, remained silently reflecting on Ruvan's words as she directed the winged tiger towards the dock where Natia was waiting for her on the spiritual sailboat.

After a few minutes, both of them finally landed on a private dock which was covered with concealment formations that prevented the cultivators from being able to see anything through their spiritual sense. Xiong Mei wanted everything to be done with utmost discretion, so she ordered Natia to take action.

"Pah" The winged tiger's paws finally landed on the ground as Ruvan and Xiong Mei finally descended from its back. Ruvan offered his hand to Xiong Mei who after some hesitation finally took it.

"My Lady! Was everything okay during your trip?" asked Alisa who had been attentive to Xiong Mei's return. She had been informed by Nina of the promotion she had received so she naturally wanted to continue serving this mysterious woman to the best of her ability.

"Everything was fine"

"I look forward to news of your performance in the eastern region," Xiong Mei said with an ethereal tone as she began to walk straight towards the spirit sailboat.

"Thank you very much for your recommendation my lady. I will work hard not to disappoint your expectations" Alisa said while bowing respectfully.

"Goodbye Alisa… It's good to see that you are doing well" Ruvan said as he walked past her while smiling. He had met her during his stay at the flower house.

"Young Master Jakob?" Alisa whispered in surprise before finally bowing her head to him after all he was in the company of Xiong Mei so she did not dare to be careless.

'She's quite a diligent girl… I'm sure she'll rise through the ranks quickly' Ruvan thought as he nodded his head while following Xiong Mei's back.

'Mrs. Nina told me to forget everything I saw here but I still wonder what Young Master Jakob is doing with such an important person like the lady.'

'Well, it's not my business anyway... It's enough for me to have been transferred with Miss Nina to the Eastern Continent... I'll finally be able to make my own way' Alisa thought ambitiously as she watched from a distance as Ruvan and Xiong Mei boarded the spiritual sailboat.

"My Lady! Welcome back" 

"The ship is ready and prepared to depart as requested two days ago" Natia said with a smile as she respectfully greeted Xiong Mei; however her gaze quickly went to the unknown passenger who was standing behind Xiong Mei.

'Wow... This boy is undoubtedly sexy, those golden eyes along with his tanned skin combine great' Natia thought while admiring Ruvan's attractive demeanor. 

'Mmm she is an athletic beauty like Lira… I like her but right now it's better to be calm so as not to anger the Master' Ruvan thought while analyzing Natia's muscular figure. Her wheat-colored skin further accentuated her heroic beauty.

"This is Ruvan and he is my new disciple" Xiong Mei said seriously as she walked straight to her personal cabin.

"What? Has the lady taken a disciple?" Natia exclaimed in disbelief when she saw Ruvan. She turned his neck several times seeking confirmation from both of them.

Natia had been carrying out the tasks of finding cultivators with high levels of yang energy as Xiong Mei had requested. Xiong Mei never told her for what she needed these cultivators for and Natia was not naive to ask either.

'The Lady has been in her position for five thousand years and she has never taken a disciple... This boy must be related to what the Lady has been so obsessed with searching for so long,' Natia thought as she remembered how she had accompanied Xiong Mei everywhere around the world while establishing their search network. She had never told her what they were looking for but she knew it was of utmost importance to the woman she served.

"That's right…Of course I expect your discretion in the matter Natia" Xiong Mei said before entering her room. Although her words sounded calm, the temperature inside the sailboat dropped several degrees. 

"Yes my Lady! You can rest assure about that" Natia said as she hurriedly headed to the cockpit to start the sailboat. The spiritual sailboat quickly ascended into the skies as it began its journey at full speed towards the Doxus continent.

'Incredible...' From the surface Alisa admired how the ship disappeared from her sight in an instant.
