A Failure's hopeful Journey

The flame poison killed the old Primal Soul cultivator by directly burning his brain matter. Then You Xi Wang asked the system to upload LUCY inside the Mirai Group's computer mainframe. This way he took over the defense system of the building and called for his team to strike. Hercules and Neo rushed in first with Luna accompanying them. The two were quick to attack and subdue the guards posted on the entrance. 

Neo stunned his target by swinging the halberd in his hand and striking the other person behind his neck. He used the shaft to complete this action as You Xi Wang did not want unnecessary bloodshed. There were two guards beside him as he was dealing with the one other guy, who rushed to press the alarm button on the wall to alert the people. The man successfully pressed the button but the expected alarm did not come. Before his brain could process what might be wrong his world turned black. He has fallen victim to Hercules chop behind his neck.

The others in the team also entered the entrance and rushed further inside the building past the security check terminal. They closed the main gate and hung the sign 'closed for maintenance' to stop the people from entering the premises. Given the law and order in Metropia, who could think that some kids wearing battle suits and accompanied by spirit beasts would take over the Croma Citiy's biggest and most high profile office building. That too in the broad daylight, okay early morning.

Inside there were no employes except for the guards. You Xi Wang had already manipulated the mainframe to deliver a message to them all stating that today was a surprise holiday fro all the staff personnel. God knows, from what he was thinking, he even asked LUCY to attach a digital copy of Edward Colt's signature on the mail. Now, even Edward Colt himself might believe sending out such a notice. You Xi Wang waited for his team to subdue the first five floors and finally he walked out of the control room. All the operation was left to LUCY and remotely under the systems command. 

His next target was the Primal Soul Realm cultivator inside the guard dressing room. His team will attack the attention of the wandering Primal Soul Realm cultivator. You Xi Wang will come to there aid as soon as possible he finished dealing with the one inside the room. He moved at a brisk pace. Cautiously to avoid being tracked by the ewandering Primal Soul realm Cultivator. This was because he was not sure to deal with two of these people together. Though thankfully his all attribute spirit energy can burn them all to ashes. 

After avoiding the constant detection from the wanderer You Xi Wang reached the gates of the guards locker room. He was about to push it open when the door was flung at him with extreme force. He did not have the time to dodge. The door smashed his body and he was flung to the wall behind him. 

THUMP

A figure in black clothes flashed and the door was flung away with a wave of this man. But You Xi Wang was missing from the spot where he should be. The man instantly became vigilant and was about to rush away when he sensed someone appear behind him. A spear flashed in the place where the man's neck should have been. The man was also very decisive, he did not try to counter attack but dodged the incoming attack. 

You Xi Wang stood facing the man, The man had gray hair, turbid eyes, wrinkly skin and instead of wearing a battle suit he wore a black robe. He spoke ina low tone with a shrill voice, "Who are you? What is your motive?"

You Xi Wang replied after he stood up straight, "Adivsor from Hell? Does that sound good? Dark scum." he controlled the array on the mask snout and spoke. The man in the black robe rushed to him as soon as he heard this. His palms shaped like claws, he slashed at You Xi Wang. The boy in the white suit also did not hesitate and his palms parried the mans claws. Though his palms were covered in a golden glow. The golden glow was obviously the all attribute spirit energy. 

You Xi Wang did not want to push this guy too far, because if pushed too far this guy might become crazy and explode himself like the one who raided the mansion that night. The two people kept fighting. After a few rounds of exchange, You Xi Wang's breath turned heavy. He distanced himself from the dark dweller. The old man revealed a hedious sneer on his face. He spoke with a snort, "Hump, dark bug? Hahaha... kid, you seem very young and to reach such a level at such a young age. It is indeed a blessing. But your bad luck to come barging in here on your high horse."

You Xi Wang did not reply the old man and kept taking deep breaths. Another man wearing a black robe appeared behind the old man who wass ready to attack You Xi Wang. The man spoke in a deep voice, "There are a lot of rats inside. Seems like they have dealt with third brother. Do you need me to help you solve this guy and then we kill the rest of the rats?"

The old man shook his head without taking his eyes off of You Xi Wang. He spoke in his shrill voice, "Second, go kill the rat and I will deal with this one here. I haven't exercised this much in quite a few years. Go."

The other an nodded and simply left to deal with You Xi Wang's team You Xi Wang had already informed his team to get ready to face the Primal Soul Dark Dweller heading towards them via Maya. The old man tilted his head and spoke, "Come, let's dance, isn't that what you young people always say when fighting for fun these days."

You Xi Wang stood up straight and cracked his neck. He stretched his waist in a lazy manner. The old man had a weird expression on his face. He sneered at You Xi Wang and spoke, "Ready to accept death in a valiant manner?"

You Xi Wang shook his head and took his stance, a dagger and a gun appeared in his hands. the gun was a traditional Hardballer and the dagger was a little different. It looked like a drill. Three sharp edges curved around and meeting at the tip. This was one of the most lethal blades You Xi Wang has seen on the earth so he decided to make himself one here. He controlled the array on his mask and spoke, "Try running your dark energy old bastard."

The old man was naturally going to fight so he circulated the dark energy inside his body. Soon his face changed, he roared at You Xi Wang, "WHAT DID YOU DO?"

You Xi Wang chuckled lightly and spoke, "That golden glow on my hands was not something just for show. Come, lets dance." when You Xi Wang was exchanging blows with this 'thing' earlier, he secretly channeled a minuscule amount of his all attribute spirit energy inside his body whenever he made contact. This was a but of course situation, whenever people fought they would be invaded by the foreign energy they come in contact with that would be dispelled later during meditation. A dark dweller getting invaded by the all attribute energy. That was just accumulation of a poison. It was because of You Xi Wang's control that the energy did not start purifying the dark dweller. 

Just now while You Xi Wang acted to be pushed back, he let go of the control of this energy and let it be wild. The dark dweller realized that he could not replenish or concentrate it on one point. This rectified his possible self explosion. Also, You Xi Wang was saved of the hassle to counter him then. Now he could just stab and shoot this person a few times, render him useless and then take down his brother. Sounds easy, no?

The wolf masked boy held the odd looking knife with an inverse grip in his left hand and his right hand was clapsed around the hardballer's grip. The old man was mad with rage and rushed towards You Xi Wang. How could he succeed in dealing with this cunning war god so easily? You Xi Wang stabbed toward the old man with his dagger and the old man was also a vetran and dodged but this was already calculated in You Xi Wang's mind. 

He shot a bullet right where the old man stepped and the bullet landed right in the ankle of the old man. The old man winced in pain and was ready to use his claw at You Xi Wang. The Phantom was waiting for his move, the odd looking knife flashed and stabbed through his hand. Normally it would not have been possible to penetrate through the hand of a Primal Soul Realm cultivator but the knife was glazed with all attribute spirit energy. The dark dweller winced again and lifted his right hand to attack which was shot down with a gun. The bullet was again coated with the all attribute spirit energy. 

The system spoke, [Yo, master, remember how Van Helsing became a werewolf to kill dracula? hahaha... your all attribute spirit energy is just like silver to vampires. Phantom Helsing, the demon slayer. Oh wait, these guys are not demons but bugs. Bugs slayer?]
