A Failure's hopeful Journey

Animo Albus cast a soul barrier around the team and herself. She had already asked for You Zhichi to be called by the team. After retracting to a distance, she focused her gaze back on the top of the building. The golden light was still shining and a roar still lingered in the surroundings. She speculated that the martial spirit has woken up. She did not waste time and even called her junior brother, Alester Book, to come over soon.

Inside the building, Edward Colt witnessed the golden light erupting from You Xi Wang, the intensity of the glow was so much that he could not help but close his eyes. When after a few seconds the glow resided. He was shocked to the core of his maggotish soul. The boy in white armor was wearing a ethereal golden armor. Left hand gripped the spear while the right hand held the sword. His wounds were healed, his hair grew as long as his shoulders in a blink. The hair fluttered without any wind inside the room. His eyes were closed. 

The armor covered his chest with his abdomine exposed, dragon shaped pauldrons rested on his shoulders, the chest plate had a turtle head protruding in the center. The shin guards had phoenixes carved in them, the bracers like tiger claws set on his hands. The armor was domineering. Suddenly the boy opened his eyes. His eyes scared Edward Colt. The boy's eyes were a golden abyss. No pupil or any other parts of the human eye could be seen.

Edward Colt controlled his fear and ran up to the boy with his sword in his hand. You Xi Wang did not retreat and slahed out his right hand. The speed of the slash was swift. Then a ripping sound was heard. The blade in Edward Colt's hand was divided cleanly into two. The slash did not stop only at that but it left wound on Edward's chest. The diagonal slash started from the waist to the right shoulder. It was so deep that even bones were visible. Theire was no extra blood. 

Edward Colt did not feel any pain for the first initial moments. He knew that he cannot win this fight so decided to run away. He was unaware that Animo Albus had removed the array and did not use his teleportation talisman. His brain was enmassed in fear. He flew out from the broken window and You Xi Wang followed him. The golden armored boy flew up and caught up with Edward Colt in a blink. The boy seemed to be at an higher altitude then Edward Colt. He swung his spear and hit directly on the dark dwellers shoulder.  Edward Colt could not even comprehend what happened to him as he fell down from the void. 

BOOM...

A dust cloud formed when Edward Colt fell done on the ground. The team who watched this sight from a distance were frozen. At this moment Animo Albus spoke, "Don't show any hint of battle or attack. Meditate as you watch the battle. You Xi Wang is not your friend right now." her words woke up all of them. The team understood how scary You Xi Wang could be. 

You Xi Wang stepped up to Edward Colt and his spear stabbed out. The spear started stabbing Edward Colt's body as he lay down on the ground. The stabing spear turned his legs into a fennel. Edward kept whimpering. The war god spirit decided to end it. The two hands were nailed to the ground with a spear and the sword. You Xi Wang craced his knuckles and his fist flashed at Edward Colt's forehead. 

BANG... 

The fist did not land, but You Xi Wang's body flew out and landed a distance away. The three great families of the Croma City arrived. It was not the main force but the security patrol. They were responsible to maintain order in the city but it was early morning when they sensed the disturbance in the region and when they saw You Xi Wang about to kill Edward Colt they immediately acted. 

A man in blue battle suit flew up to You Xi Wang and spoke, "Good armor kid, it could block my attack. My name is Stephan. I now ask you to surrender otherwise don't blame uncle to be harsh."

You Xi Wang did not listen to all this and took out a bow and arrow from his space ring. This bow was the one he got from the Elves. Under the influence of his martial spirit. You Xi Wang did not speak but his battle hunger sparked up when the opposite party asked him to surrender. He immediately picked up his bow and shot spirit marbles in a quick succession. The other side had three teams. One of which was now stunned for a second. That second was enough for You Xi Wang to tame them down. 

You Xi Wang's figure flashed and he appeared in front of the man who had just sneaked attack on him. The boy held the bow from one end and swung it with both hands at the man's face. The force behind this seemingly simple swing was so much that it flung the man in air and made him crash with the others behind him. The other two teams were stun silly. They did not expect this golden armored kid to be so strong. You Xi Wang forgot Edward Colt and started his assault on the peace-watchers. 

You Xi Wang was like a hungry wild tiger amidst the pack of sheep. His bow shot spirit arrows and successfully logded them selves inside the opponents bodies. He used kicks and punches when someone came too close to him. Edward Colt on the side stayed nailed to the ground. He tried to remove the spear and the sword but the intent of weapon and the spirits inside the weapons attacked him everytime he struggled.

On the side, beside Animo Albus the space fluctuated and Alester Book appeared. His senior sister did not speak and only pointed her fingering a certain direction. He followed her finger and saw a golden flash moving and fighting a group of people. The speed of the golden figure was at the peak of primal soul realm. This was a boost of the martial spirit. He was fighting with 15 people and it was one side torment for the 15 people. 

Animo Albus spoke to Fenny, who stood beside her, "Where is Chi'er?"

Fenny replied in a calm voice with her eyes locked at You Xi Wang, "One minute away."

Animo Albus nodded and saw her junior brother standing beside her with his mouth wide open. She spoke in a cold voice, "Bookworm, don't lose face in front of the juniors or see how I will make to watch movies."

Her cold threat woke up Alester Book. He hated watching movies and stuff. This was the torment his senior sister made him suffer everytime he did something she was unhappy with. He immediately regained his senses. He spoke in a serious tone, "This is the fabled martial spirit?"

Animo Albus nodded and said, "This time, you struck gold. Wang'er was strong at first but if he can tame this spirit to hi sbidding. He will be able to deal with at least one realm higher than him. But he will only get this one chance. That is why i did not interrupt this battle."

This was their motive, to tame the martial spirit one can only do that when the spirit awakens first time. This was why she did not stop these peace-watchers from engaging him. These three teams were all Primal Soul Realm. They were all experienced in battles and thus they could mingle with You Xi Wang, who was on a spiritual steroid, for so long. the battle was intense. The ground around the Miari Group Office was filled with cratters. One of these cratters had a miserable figure being held down by two spirit weapons. 

You Xi Wang was like a robot with infinite energy. He kept fighting with the people at a high speed and his efficiency was also impeccable. As the battle continued, the You Family convoy had arrived. You Zhichi spotted her master and the rest. She scurried over to them and after a greeting she asked, "Master, where is Gougou?"

Animo Albus was yet to react when You Naixin exclaimed, "God damn it, this brat will make us all get old early. He even awakened the martial spirit of the family." then she greeted the two nirvana rebirth experts. The other elders also followed her lead and You Shanwang asked her, "Granny Xin, do you mean, Xiao Wang woke up the War God spirit?"

The elegant lady nodded but You Tong exclaimed with her big eyes, "WHO ALLOWED HIM INSIDE THE FORBIDDEN SECTOR OF THE FAMILY LIBRARY BEFORE HE TURNED 20?" her words attracted everyone's attention and You Naixing sighed. She spoke, "Let me explain."
