Volume 2 Chapter 51: Well, I’m Going To Stay As Well

Volume 2 Chapter 51: Well, I’m Going To Stay As Well

Once Cadmus and the rest finished their meal, it was time to return. Keith and the rest said their goodbyes to Alvin and Eric as they entered the carriage.

Cadmus was waving his hand, saying his goodbyes too.

"Goodbye, my food!" But when he said that, Sohma slapped him in the head. As the carriage drove, Keith was out like a light. The same can be said with Carolyn. She was sleeping on his shoulders.

Too adorable! Camelia wanted to save this scene. The two of them were so cute. Plus, the animals around made a good scene.

Camelia and Lionel continued to stare till they returned to the Bradley Estate. Lionel picked the two up and brought them out.

"They're all tuckered out." Thalia chuckled as she stared at the two. They were sleeping so soundly.

"They've been running around so much. And they were also running a stall as well." Sophia added. It would be surprising if they weren't.

"Alright, Let's go." Julius was all smiles as he was about to pick up Carolyn. But,

"Eh?"

"What's wrong, Dear?" Thalia noticed the strange expression on her husband's face.

"She won't let go," Julius stated.

"Huh?"

"She won't let go of Keith." Carolyn's hand was like a vice. She clutched onto Keith's clothes. Even when he tried to pull, she didn't budge at all.

"I'll carry them to Keith's room," Lionel stated. There was no point in trying to force the child.

"Well, I guess we'll be staying here too," Julius stated.

"What?"

"Since my daughter isn't leaving, we'll have to stay by her side."

"We can send her home in the morning," William stated.

"Carolyn will get worried if Thalia and I aren't there when she wakes up," Julius added.

"...You just want free food." William sneered at him. He knew this man's end game.

"Of course!" Julius didn't deny it.

"..."

"Are you going to refuse your king's demands?" Julius stated with a haughty look.

"..." No one said a thing.

Sophia was alright with this as she continued to talk with Thalia. William was the only one who didn't like it. He had to deal with this man.

Lionel brought the two children into Keith's room.

"Are you two going to be fine watching them?" Lionel asked Fira and Aria. Well, it was Aria. Fira was knocked out like a light.

"Ho." Aria nodded. Lionel didn't say anything as he placed a blanket on the two.

"Nghh." Carolyn groaned as she hugged Keith tighter. Lionel nodded and returned to the living room, where everyone was.

"Today was quite hectic!" Julius stated.

"Indeed."

"Your son is such an interesting person!" Julius couldn't help but say.

"Mmhmm."

"Is this the first time someone has been so calm and collected in front of the principal?" Thalia questioned.

"I think so." William turned to Lionel.

"Yes. This might be the first time." During Lionel's time at the academy, he had never seen anyone talk to Cadmus so calmly.

Yet, Keith was the one who did it. He even gave the ancient dragon a nickname! Who would do that?!

"And you guys need to explain how he tamed a Samui." That was the other thing that needed to be discussed. This may be the first time in history someone tamed that legendary creature!

"I would like to know myself." Lionel and Camelia were interested as well.

"It's like this," William explained how Keith met the Samui. He didn't go into too much detail as he wasn't there.

These were all of Keith's recollections.

"And the Samui came to the town and formed a contract with him." William ended it with that.

"..." Everyone was silent when they heard it all.

"Your child is crazy," Julius stated.

"Hey!"

"I'm just saying. Have you seen another kid go up to a Samui and treat it like a pet?"

"...Wasn't your daughter holding the baby?"

"That's because she didn't know. No one knows what a baby Samui looks like!" Julius retorted. Carolyn probably thought it was another cute animal.

"..." True. William and Sophia didn't know until Keith brought Mir to their home. If Keith didn't reveal it, they probably thought it was another small animal.

"And the forest spirit as well. That kid has some dangerous familiars around him."

"I can't deny that." Keith's ability to attract animals was uncanny.

"And here's the problem." Julius sighed as he clutched his head,

"You understand how dangerous he is, right?"

"..." William and Sophia were silent. They understood.

A child who tamed more than 20 S-rank monsters. And there was an SSS rank. It was an unprecedented event.

"We're friends, so I'm okay with it. And I doubt the principal would say anything about it. But others won't have the same thought." Julius understood,

"Tell him to be careful."

"You don't need to tell me that."

"Alright, now that we got that out of the way, let's get something to eat." Julius didn't forget to say that.

"Mooch."

"How dare you call your king a mooch?!"

"You're acting as one."

Sophia and Thalia shook their heads as they watched them argue. But,

"On a serious note, tell your son to stay away from my daughter."
