“What’s the status of the operation?”

 

“Yes, Captain!! Apart from a little accident earlier, everything is proceeding as planned. Their main base will soon be conquered.”

Franz switched tabs on the info terminal and looked at the current situation. His eyes widened when she saw the data displayed on-screen.

 

There was one particular individual who had already defeated almost 45% percent of the enemy ships alone.

At that moment he received a video call from the same person he was mentioning. Sitting crossed legged, the figure of the beautiful loli could be seen.

“Yo, Captain. I am starting to get bored of these insects. I’ve done my fair share, so this is just to inform you that we are leaving. I have other places to be.” (Kizuna)

“Leave!? In the middle of the battle?” (Franz)

“The operation is mostly done. Your group secured the pirates base. The remaining ships can be dealt with by the rest of the mercenaries. Or did you actually expect me to do all the work for you?” (Kizuna)

A cold stare instantly froze the captain and his men nearby. Even if they were talking through a video, that stare was scary as hell.

“Listen, captain, I have sacrificed enough of my precious time and resources to indulge you. And I only did that on a whim. Do not abuse my generosity any longer. As I said when we met, I myself am a ruler. One that stands above all. You better remember this. Try to stand in our way and we will shoot you down.”

The video then terminated, just like hanging up your cell phone.

“Captain…”

As I was heading towards my own room. I couldn't help noticing that Alisha was following me. I stopped midway without looking backwards. She also stopped. I took once again a few steps forward, and she followed. When I stopped again she also stopped. I think I repeated this cycle about 3 times.

I fell on the ground the moment I heard that. She doesn't get it after all. What the hell am I going to do with these girls? You know there were times when I thought that the wall of text I wrote for each character was a bit too much, but I swear, if I knew something like this would happen, I would have written more.

 

If I say something else now or reject her I'm sure she'll burst in tears or say something weird as hell again and I seriously am not in the mood for that. Patience is a virtue, but it was never my strong point, even back in my own world.

 

It's not like I mind sharing a bed with someone. Although I would never do this with a guy. Come to think of it, the only person I did share a bed with was with my mom. It might be interesting to see how this goes. Let's just hope Alisha doesn't snore or anything.

 

"Fine, Alisha. You can sleep with me. I'll just use you as my body pillow."

 

"Body pillow? I'm not familiar with the term."

 

Don't they have body pillows in space?

 

"Never mind. You'll learn soon enough. Just follow me and don't ask any questions."
