Avoid Yandere Constellation

Chapter 41-1

The surrounding scenery changed from the forest to the classroom once again.

Thanks to the mental enhancement magic, I feel much calmer now after the regression than when I first started.

“Ahem. Let’s talk about the performance evaluation from now on.”

“Professor, my body hurts. Can I go to the priest’s room?”

“… Alright. I can see it on your face. You need to go. Go and come back.”

“Yes, sir.”

Despite using mental enhancement magic, it seems that I still look quite exhausted, judging from William’s words.

[What’s wrong? Why is your face so pale?] (It’s Constellation, 1st time ever, spoke normally.)

She really sounds worried instead of just playing with her concept of the Constellation.

Anyway, ignoring the worried gaze of Eileen and the Constellation, I headed towards the priest’s room.

“Well, rest here. Don’t strain yourself.”

“Yes, I understand.”

With that, the responsible priest left the room.

I lay down on the soft bed, placing both hands in the soft bed.

So, what should I do now?

The future has changed. And that’s quite something.

This is why I didn’t want to be involved in the original story like this.

Anyway, the reason for the change is probably because, as I recall what Ashard said… Well, it’s highly likely that it’s because of Kane, to be precise. That guy probably contacted the cult and because of his survival, the side effect definitely occurred.

Anyway, why did they go to such lengths to kill me over just contacting them? And what was Kane thinking when he contacted those guys?

I never really understood what those cult guys were thinking, but neither could I understand Kane for contacting them.

Anyway, regardless of the fact that the future has changed, the question is how to resolve this.

Though I don’t want to get involved in the main episode, but that’s just my wishful thinking.

[Quest Alert! – Stop the Terrorism!]

[Explanation: The church is planning to carry out a terrorist attack at the academy evaluation site. If they are not stopped, the future could be completely altered. Please do your best to stop them. (Additional rewards will be given if you defeat the boss.)

[Reward: 2,500 points + ???]

A quest appeared before my eyes.

The reward is quite generous, offering 2,500 points just for completing it, and an additional 500 points for avoiding death.

Even if I don’t defeat the boss, I can still earn 3,000 points.

Although the reward is secondary, I personally would be satisfied to send Ashard to his mother.

Therefore, there is a need to indirectly resolve the main episode.

For now, I’ll follow the same plan as in the previous chapter.

Originally, the cult members were supposed to cause terror during the Second evaluation, but due to the side effect, it has now been changed to the first evaluation.

Therefore, it would be helpful to bring Eileen, who is the top student in terms of skills, since there are no students in the first evaluation.

Well, even if it’s not Eileen, most of the students are likely to have above-average skills.

So, I don’t need to worry about Eileen and Jenny alone, since they will most likely come with me.

Should I bring Riche, Kelsey and Anje..?

No, let’s not, even if Riche is okay, Kelsey is still premature.

While it’s true Kelsey is growing exponentially, but not ready yet.

That leaves Anje…

Although I feel like bringing Anje to the main episode and giving those cult guys fist teaching from the Saint herself.

But then, either Kim Soo-yong or Laine, who is one of the heroines, might not awaken in this episode.

In this episode, the cult was supposed to summon a mid-level demon into Ashard’s body to cause terror.

That’s where Kim Soo-yong and Laine awaken once.

But what if Anje is added here?

I’d not be suprised if that Demon kneels down to apologize to her (Fist Saint).

Yeah, I can’t involve Anje.

Even though the original work has changed, if it changes too much, it might be unresolvable later on.

First of all, sneaking through the gate with those three is a problem, let alone talking about it.

Ultimately, it’s quite difficult to bring them to the main episode, aside from the fact that it differs from the original work.

“Now, how do I bring in Kim Soo-yong?”

I’m deeply thinking about that.

-Knock!

Eileen opens the door to the clinic, her face full of worry as she approaches me.

“Ka-Kane, are you okay?”

“Yeah, well, I had a slight headache earlier, but I’m fine now,” I replied nonchalantly, shrugging my shoulders.

She lets out a sigh of relief. “Phew, that’s a relief. Your face was so pale when you left earlier, I thought you were seriously hurt.”

“Is that so?” I asked, and Jenny answered for Eileen, opening the door with a creak.

“Yeah, your face looked like someone on their deathbed just from the expression.”

[Goddess of Destiny agrees with that statement.]

Hmm, even with strengthening magic, that was the extent of it.

Well, come to think of it, except for when I committed suicide, my expression wasn’t good at all after regressing. Breathing was difficult too.

Suicide was something I was prepared for, so it was somewhat okay.

Except for dying by Anje’s hands and excluding suicide, I had been through a lot.

Damn it. Is there any treasure in my belly?

As I unintentionally touch my belly for a moment, Eileen speaks in a slightly embarrassed tone.

“So Kane, I have something to tell … ”

“Ah, is it about the performance evaluation?”

“Um, yeah… but how did you know?”

“Huh? Ah, Professor William mentioned it before he left.”

“I see.”

“Anyway, since the two of you are here, I guess we’re in the same group, right?”

Jenny responded with a sly smile on her lips to my question.

“Yeah, that’s right. We’re in the same group. Eileen wanted to be in the same group as you, so she convinced all the guys to… MUUhhh!”

“Ahahaha, yes, that’s right. We’re in the same group.”

Before Jenny finished speaking, Eileen covered her mouth with one hand and responded with an awkward, forced laugh.

Sorry. I already knew.

Normally, it’s best to pretend not to know in situations like this, but…

“Yeah, Eileen, don’t lie. You convinced them all to… Jenny don’t lie.”

“Wow… look at that quick turnaround.”

Although I wanted to join in and tease Eileen as well, when I saw her ice-cold face. I couldn’t help but change my tone.

As expected, it’s best to pretend not to know in situations like this…

“Well, then we’ll go talk to the professor.”

“Yeah. Thanks.”

“…I really want to take a break.”
