Back to the early Tang Dynasty to be a fairy

Chapter 52 Please forgive me I can't do this

Chapter 52 Please forgive me I can't do this
Between Yin and Mao in the morning, that is, just after four o'clock in the morning, the bell of Zhuangyan Temple rang. Under the urging, I started to get up, wash up, and prepare for morning class.

The reason why I had to get up so early was because it happened to be the Buddha’s birthday puja, and these monks still had a lot of work to do during the day, so the time for morning class and class (meal) had to be advanced.

When the other monks were rushing towards the main hall of Zhuangyan Temple, and were about to start the morning class, a rich monk walked in the opposite direction with the other monks with a gloomy face, heading towards Zhuangyan Temple from the direction of the main hall. Walk to the courtyard of the Bodhisattva Four Noble Truths on the south side.

The Temple of the Four Noble Truths is the name of a side courtyard located on the south side of the temple. The reason why the temple gave the courtyard this name is because during the period from the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the structure of large Buddhist temples was basically the same. Six characters, 'Like Tianque, imitation Gion'.

Among them, the three words like Tianque mean that the architectural style of the temple must be grand and magnificent, like a palace in heaven, and the imitation of Gion means that the structure of large Buddhist temples is planned by imitating the structure of Gion. .

This Gion Garden is the Gion Tree Giving Lonely Garden mentioned in the Diamond Sutra.

In other words, the large Buddhist temples established during the Sui and Tang Dynasties were basically copied from the courtyard where Sakyamuni lived.

Now he has just turned 26 years old, the future eminent monk of Buddhism, monk Daoxuan, the ancestor of Lvzong, even wrote some pamphlets on how to build Buddhist temples decades later, such as "The Picture Sutra of Yihuan Temple in the Kingdom of Shewei in Zhongtianzhu" and "The Founding of Guanzhong Jietan Tujing" and so on, clearly put the structure of Gion on the paper and told other monks...

How should the temple be repaired!
For example, after entering through the three gates, a courtyard is the middle gate. After the middle gate is the front Buddha Hall, and then the main hall of the main courtyard, that is to say, the Great Hall of Fa. Between the front hall and the main hall is the seven-story pagoda, etc...

What buildings should be in the front and back are arranged for you clearly and in an orderly manner.

In contrast, the current Daoist sect is very ashamed.

Now that the organization of these monks is getting tighter and stricter, and even some rules and regulations have begun to appear in a conventional way, the Taoist priests are still fighting over who the main god of the Taoist sect should be.

The saying that there are many famous mountain monks in the world is definitely not in vain.

In the courtyard of the Bodhisattva Four Noble Truths in Gion, it is said that there is a golden bell, which was made by the dragon king Hexiuji. The bell has three layers, and the nose has a nine-dragon shape. Then the golden bell rang without striking, and the sound was like a lyre, and the sound spread for twenty miles.

Of course, there is no golden bell in the courtyard of Zhuangyan Temple, because these abodes in the south of Zhuangyan Temple, such as the courtyard of laymen, the courtyard of Yuanjue Twelve Karmas, and the courtyard of Bodhisattva Four Noble Truths are basically all The eminent monks of the Zhuangyan Temple live here.

Among these eminent monks, some are the face of the monastery, responsible for receiving donors and receiving donations, such as the Great Monk Fazheng; there are also those who have studied Buddhist theories in depth and can preach scriptures, such as the host of the Buddhist Association of Zhuangyan Temple. Human Wisdom Monk...

But whether it is Fazheng or Wisdom, they are actually just the facade of Zhuangyan Temple. The real strength of Zhuangyan Temple is not them, but the third type of monks who live here...

That is, a monk who has enough comprehension, extraordinary roots, can understand the Buddhadharma, and is a true monk who transcends the ordinary and becomes holy.

When Monk Fazheng came to the door of the Bodhisattva Four Noble Truths Courtyard, before he could knock on the door, he saw that the gate of the courtyard had creaked open without wind.

In the courtyard of the monastery, a bald monk wearing a gray robe was sitting under a tree in the courtyard with his eyes closed.

"Junior Brother Yifan,"

After seeing the courtyard door open, the great monk Fazheng clasped his hands together and saluted the bald monk in the courtyard. "Today, I came here specially to find you, Junior Brother..."

The monk sitting in the yard said calmly without even opening his eyes.

"I already know the reason for Brother Fazheng's visit..."

After hearing the other party's words, the great monk Fazheng couldn't help feeling envious for a while.

The monk in front of him said that he already knew the purpose of his visit, and it was not a lie. Monk Fazheng knew that the other party really knew.Because Monk Yifan practiced the secret method of Huazong's "one thought three thousand".

Those who have succeeded in cultivating this mental method can immediately break through the three confusions and realize the three wisdoms.

Even if Monk Yifan did not have a great achievement in the mind, but he has achieved the small achievement of "Three Thousands in One Thought", which is equivalent to the foundation of Taoism. Truthfully understand the differences in the minds of others.

This is also the reason why Monk Fazheng generally doesn't like to come to Yifan. The feeling that the other party knows what you think in your heart is actually not easy at all.

"Since you already know, junior brother, then you should also know about that little Taoist priest from Qingdu Temple selling divination in front of the gate of my Zhuangyan Temple," Monk Fazheng clasped his hands together and said sincerely. "Someone once saw that little Taoist fortune-telling in person, he was very accurate..."

"These are just appearances..."

Monk Yifan was still sitting cross-legged under the tree with his eyes closed.

"All natures are not false, and all natures are empty. Brothers, you should know that "The Theory of Great Wisdom" is not a verbal effort, but must be put into the heart."

"Junior Brother, I know what you said, but even though I am in the world of mortals, I still have to do some things. If I allow this little Taoist priest to manifest himself in front of the gate of my Zhuangyan Temple without doing anything..."

Monk Fazheng took a step forward, and his tone became a little eager.

"If it is small, the prestige of my Zhuangyan Temple will be lost, and if it is large, the believers will despise me as a monk..."

"I understand the meaning of what senior brother said!"

Monk Yifan under the tree slowly opened his eyes, revealing a pair of eyes that seemed gentle but seemed to have the power to penetrate people's hearts. "But senior brother doesn't think so in his heart, so please forgive me for not being able to do what senior brother wants."

"That's right, it's true that a certain person is angry because of what happened to Nephew Jingyan, but the poor monk's actions are not all out of selfishness."

After hearing what Monk Yifan said, Monk Fazheng was a little anxious.

"Poor monk, tell me the truth, the little Taoist priest named Qingwei left two pieces of paper when he attacked Nephew Jingyan and the others, which recorded some contingency measures that Nephew Jingyan and the others used when promoting the Dharma. , if these things get out..."

"Brother, don't say too much..."

Monk Yifan interrupted Monk Fazheng again, "Forgive me for not giving it away."

Saying that, Monk Yifan slowly closed his eyes again, without saying a word.

After seeing Monk Yifan's action, Fazheng stood up helplessly, and left the courtyard of the Bodhisattva Four Noble Truths in despair.Just as he walked out of the yard, the gate closed automatically again without wind, and creaked.

"Uncle Fazheng Master..."

Just when Monk Fazheng was looking at the closed courtyard door and was feeling aggrieved, he heard a rush of shouts from behind, and then a little novice ran over anxiously.

"The abbot has an order to ask Uncle Fazheng Master to find him in his meditation room."

"Brother Abbot is looking for me? When this morning class is about to start..."

Monk Fazheng muttered something, then straightened his monk's robes, and then wobbled along the bluestone path of the temple to another nearby abbot.

Compared with the undecorated room of Monk Yifan next to him, the room in front of him is extremely exquisitely decorated. Not only are the utensils displayed in the room extremely exquisite, there is even a picture of His Majesty Li Yuan hanging on the wall. authentic.

A 50-something-year-old monk with a benevolent face and a dignified appearance was sitting next to a table in the house, drinking water from a cup in both hands.

After seeing Fazheng coming in, the monk put down his cup and pointed to the futon opposite him.

"sit!"

"Senior Brother Abbot!"

Monk Fazheng clasped his hands together and said respectfully.

"Summon Junior Brother, what orders do you have?"

"Of course I have something to look for you..."

The 50-year-old monk, Fa Ya, the abbot of the Zhuangyan Temple, spoke directly to the monk Fazheng.

"I heard that junior brother, you are dealing with a little Taoist priest from Qingdu Temple recently?"

Although they used interrogative sentences, Monk Fa Ya's tone was very positive.

"This one……"

Monk Fazheng hesitated for a moment, seeming a little surprised.

"Brother, let me explain to you..."

"No need to explain!"

Monk Faya waved his hand and said in an unquestionable tone.

"I don't care what you think, I have to stop this matter anyway."

"This is impossible,"

After hearing Monk Fa Ya's words, Monk Fa Zheng almost jumped up from the futon he was sitting on. "That little Taoist priest hurt a dozen or so monks in our Zhuangyan Temple..."

"For those injured monks, I will find a way to get some medicine from the sect to treat them." Monk Fa Ya paused for a while, and then said firmly. "But what you are planning to do over there now must stop."

"Brother..."

Monk Fazheng looked left and right, and when he confirmed that there was no one nearby, he said in a low voice.

"That little Taoist priest Qingwei is very talented. He doesn't have any true teachings of Taoism. With the little things left by Xuancheng, he can practice the art of Liuren, and I think he should be very accurate in divination. Now Zongmen Isn't Li looking for such a person?

And we all know that Taoist Xuancheng had saved Princess Pingyang's life back then, if we could convert this little Taoist priest, wouldn't our Huazong be able to connect with Princess Pingyang..."

"Okay, I know that you are doing this for the sake of the sect, but haven't you considered what Princess Pingyang will think if you do something to that little Taoist priest?"

"What does Princess Pingyang think?"

Monk Fazheng said with a puzzled expression.

"Didn't it mean that Princess Pingyang hasn't been to Qingdu Temple for more than a year? She should be..."

"But the problem is that Jingyan and the others only made a move at noon yesterday..."

Monk Fa Ya raised his head and gave Monk Fa Zheng a hard look. "In the evening, Princess Pingyang sent Ma Sanbao's younger brother Ma Sixi to look for the old monk. Do you think there is such a coincidence in the world?"

Monk Yifan in this chapter pays tribute to the heroic monk in Shushan Swordsman's Legend. He really didn't mean to touch porcelain Wu Pao Wang, so don't think wrong!
