Batman in the MCU

"Hm, you needed not have come so far. Death would have come to you soon enough " Malekith tilted his head as he looked at the two he thought he had left for dead back at Svartalfheim.

"Not by your hands", Thor spoke as he moved to Malekith.

"Your universe was never meant to be, your world and your family would be extinguished" with each word Malekith spoke the aether built up around him before launching an attack at the two heroes.

Thor instinctively rose Mjolnir and took the blast head on as Batman jumped out of the way. Rolling around Batman got into position some distance away from the two, "Jane" Batman spoke into his comms and instantly received a response from Jane Foster, "We are not ready, we need more time" her panicked flustered voice made its way to Batman's ear.

"Is he sure this is going to work?" Selveig stood above the battle in a building watching everything with Jane. "I mean this device was made to detect anomalies, not cause them"

"It will.. I hope, now come on Darcy"

Back at the Battle below.

Malekith released another attack this one spread out so as to hit the two, but Batman avoided it once more where as Thor was sent flying landing on his back.

"Thor you deal with Malekith! I'll handle the others!" Batman's suit gave of a blue glow as he pulled out his batarangs and rushed at the dark elves behind Malekith.

"Okay!" Thor shouted as he made it back to his feet and prepared to let Mjolnir loose. Malekith simply glanced at Batman who was charging at his brethren with his batarangs at the ready, and directed his full focus to Thor.

Gathering the aether around himself he sent a concentrated blast straight at Thor. Thor quickly brought up Mjolnir taking the attack head on, he was sent back a few meters but remained standing.

With a mocking grin Thor spoke up, "you know, with all that power I thought you would hit harder". His words angered Malekith who gathered the aether around himself ready to release an attack only to be sent flying by Mjolnir.

Mjolnir flew back into Thor's hand, with flying after Malekith to deal with him. On the grounds Batman launched his batarang into the army of dark elves sending a few of them flying with the explosions.

With some of the elves still disoriented Batman moved in grabbing one and delivering a solid right into the creatures gut.

With his suit fully active the force behind each of his punches was enough to send the elves flying with a few broken bones. His actions earned him the ire of the army who now focused all their attention unto him.

*bang*bang*bang* some of the elves immediately opened fire on Batman. Firing continuous shots with the guns with a few even readying their grenades.

Already knowing what their grenades were capable of, Batman released a few smoke bombs creating a cloud of thick smoke to obscure their vision.

The elves were not deterred though as they simply launched their grenades. The strange sounds produced from their grenades going off went of in rapid succession.

Causing the elves who surrounded the thick cloud of smoke to halt their advance. The smoke prevented them from being sure their attack was effective, causing a few of them to walk into the smoke to confirm it for themselves.

Mere seconds after they walked in they heard the screams of pain, and saw the flashes of blue that continuously appeared and disappeared.

They need no more signs to be certain that the Batman had somehow survived their assault.

The elves with guns aimed at the man who had just flown out of the cloud of smoke, before they could pull their triggers however, tiny devices flew out.

This devices all fell onto their guns producing a clicking sound once they made contact. Pulling on their triggers the elves looked down at their weapons in confusion as to why they didn't fire.

In the next moment all their guns produced beeping sounds before exploding right before them. In the midst of the explosions, Batman fell back to the earth in the classic superhero pose with the generated force creating web like cracks in the earth and clearing the smoke cloud.

"So cool" Darcy who was some distance away and witnessed everything couldn't help but speak out.

"Darcy!" Jane screamed over the phone, "oh right! yeah we're done" Darcy snapping out of it gave her report.

"Batman did you hear that" Jane spoke as she and Erik run through a library to get into position. The windows around the library all shattered due to battle happening outside sending glass everywhere.
