Batman in the MCU

Thor was quick to snap himself out of it but was blasted away by Malekith who used the aether. Thor would not be stopped by this though and tried to follow after Malekith who was leaving.

His charge was cut short by Algrim who appeared before him, Thor's battle instinct kicked in as he swung straight for Algrim but Algrim simply moved aside before back handing Thor, the force sending the God of thunder flying once more.

As the battle between Thor and Algrim raged on the army of dark elves moved to engage Loki to prevent him from reaching Algrim and Batman to stop him from getting to Malekith who drew closer and closer to his ship. "Urgh" Batman let out a groan as one of the dark elves' blade managed to get through his defenses and stab him.

Batman quickly pulled out the blade and slit the throat of the elf who had done it, his cape morphed into spikes and stabbed the elves which tried to stab him from the back. With some newly gained breathing room Batman let a batarang loose, but the batarang failed to harm Malekith as the aether simply formed a shield blocking it.

Malekith simply spared an emotionless glass at Batman and continued his journey, Batman let loose some explosives sending the elves around himself flying as well as causing some visible damage to his suit.

Batman began his mad sprint for Malekith as his suit continued to repair itself, "Malekith!" Batman screamed as Malekith was about to step onto his ship causing the prince of darkness to turn to him. Malekith observed as Batman continued to mow than the elves that came towards him with little to no effort.

Batman's actions caused a frown to form on Malekith's face but the prince did not want to waste time with the Batman hence he let loose the aether on some of his subordinates. His unexpected actions caused Batman to halt observing Malekith's targets with a growing curiosity.

The elves let out screams so ghastly even their own allies decided to put some space between them. Their ghastly screams soon turned to beastly roars as the once dark elves transformed into some sort of deformed creatures, the creatures stood at a full height of 9 ft their skin was now pitch black resembling the black earth they stood upon.

The numerous cracks that now littered their skin had red lights pulsating from within, their eyes had lost all signs of intelligence and was now filled with nothing but murderous intent. Malekith who observed all these changes had a satisfied smirk before entering his ship.

Seeing the doors to ship begin to close after Malekith, Batman run forward his sudden actions caused the monstrosities to let out their beastly roars before charging for him. Batman saw this but continued to run showing no signs of slowing down.

As he was mere inches from the first of the monstrosities the creatures arm clawed straight for his head with incredulous force and speed. Relying on nothing more than instinct Batman slid between the creatures legs and sliced at its tendons but widened his eyes when he saw the sparks produced as his batarang made contact with the skin of the creature.

Batman had no time think as he rolled away avoiding two fists slamming where he once was. Positioning himself well Batman pushed of with his back driving both his feet into the face of the one who had tried to smash him like a bug, Batman was stunned once more as his full force kick enhanced by the shock features that could send even the Rhino flying, simply sent the creature stumbling back a few steps.

Realizing himself to be outmatched Batman dropped explosives which managed to stun the creatures converging o him long enough to allow Batman to jump out and put some space between them.

Immediately his legs made contact with the earth Batman let loose ten batarangs which latched on to one of the creatures and released a massive amount of electricity which kept the creature in place for a few seconds as the others run past it.

Batman gained a smirk as he saw his actions had effect meaning these creatures were not invincible. Batman's hand morphed into blades ready to meet the creatures but came to a halt as lightning rained down on the creatures turning two of them into cinders.

Batman turned to source to see Thor who was now covered in wounds flying to his side, the two nodded at one another before Thor spun Mjolnir and charged at another one of the creatures leaving the one Batman had stunned originally to the caped crusader.

With his blades Batman charged and began to exchange blows with the creature. Even with the enhancements from the suit Batman could barely take the hits from the creature.

Batman stood on his feet once more spitting out a mouthful of blood as his fist regained their original form.

The creature was not about to allow Batman to rest as it charged at him once more with a roar. Batman pulled himself close with a grappling hook placing five explosive batarangs into the creatures mouth.

The creature turned to face Batman just as it exploded from the inside. Thor came up to Batman at that moment having dealt with the others.

Another explosion grabbed their attention though before the could speak. Turning to the source the saw a bright orange flash from where Loki engaged Algrim in battle.
