Batman stood in a room and watched as people fussed over the queen who was trying to tell them it was only a bruise one which had already healed thanks to Asgardian magic.
"Enough! leave me be!" The queen spoke out causing the people fussing over to bow ready to leave but halted as Odin walked in all armored up with his spear at hand. "Tend to her", Odin spoke in a tone that seemingly left no room for arguments "I said to leave us" Frigga responded in a similar tone as she and her husband entered a stare down.
Odin soon relented allowing for the healers to finally leave, "mother are you sure your alright maybe we could allow the healers back in to check on you once again just to be sure", Thor spoke as well clearly on the same view as his father.
"Are you the mother or am I? Trust me my boy I am fine. How about your lady friend is she safe?" Frigga questioned. "Aye she is safe and with the preparations being made if Malekith or any of those vile creatures were to show themselves once more then they should not hope to leave" Odin ended by slamming his spear into the ground.
"We wait? Surely father you jest." Thor spoke up turning his attention away from his mother and focusing on his father, "They come into our home and kill our people. I hate to think of what would have happened if my friend wasn't there".
"Nay father! I say we take the battle to them, like you did in the days of old father!"
"Enough!" Odin exclaimed cutting Thor of, "I will hear no more of this" with those words Odin turned to leave the room.
"And what if Jane Foster" Batman finally spoke after silently observing their interactions. Odin turned to him, narrowing his eyes at him "The lady Jane is safe and she will remain so"
Batman remained silent watching Odin leave the three of them alone in the room. "You are right we can't wait" Batman turned to Thor who tightened his grip on mjolnir.
"I agree with you two" Frigga sat up on the bed as she spoke. "We truly cannot wait for Malekith to gather his armies we truly must take the battle to him, but at the same time Malekith is a foe who has existed before Asgard was"
"Malekith's power is from the aether, without it his no more a threat than any other man" Thor spoke, "The aether which currently resides in Jane Foster and we have no way to separate the two" Batman added causing the two to remain silent in thought.
"Malekith came here and did not seem disappointed once he realized the aether was in Lady Jane." The queen spoke up after a minute of thinking, "which must mean Malekith has a way to take the aether out of Jane" Batman added which caused Thor to spring to his feet with a new found purpose.
"Then we must head to him straight and have him separate it from her and then when it is done we will kill him." Thor grasped mjolnir ready to head out when Batman put a stop to his actions, "Your father knows it is Jane Malekith wants he would have guards around her and even if we got to her how would we leave with her?"
"Your friend is right, your father would surely have all the entrances monitored I see no way you would be able to leave", Frigga spoke up agreeing with the Batman. "There is one man who will definitely know a way out of here" Thor had a sad smile as he thought of a way.
It took Frigga but a moment to realize who her son was talking about which caused her lips to tighten. "I highly doubt your brother would be willing to help you" said Batman, "he is my brother and I am sure I will be able to get him on my side once more" with those words Thor walked out to talk with Loki.
Batman shared one more look with Frigga before heading out to follow after Thor to head to the cells.

The cells state spoke plenty of the damage it had experienced, the bodies might have been cleared but the blood stains remained. Making their journey further in the two arrived before the only cell that remained intact, looking into it, it looked nothing like any other cell in the place but more like a luxury room with books and other stuff placed neatly around the room.
Loki continued to ignore the two's presence seemingly focused on the book he held at hand, finally speaking after a minute. "hmm so they were right... you live did they by any chance get your... what was her name, ah yes Jane. I hear she has something the elves want."
"We need your help brother" Thor spoke which caused Loki to slam his book shut as he burst out in laughter. "You asking for my help, what a sight. Hahaha-" "your mother would have died" Batman spoke up drawing attention to his side.
Loki turned to Batman glaring as he heard those words, "and it would have been your fault if she did" Batman's words caused Loki to lunge forward slamming at the energy field that separated them causing a ripple as focused entirely on Batman.
The two saying nothing as they simply stared at one another.
"please brother we need your help so we can have vengeance on the ones who dared to lay their hands on mother. Fight by my side as you did before brother" Thor spoke once more.
"She is not my mother... but vengeance interest me so, what do you want brother..."
