Zanpakuto Name: Kagami no Jotei (鏡の女帝 Empress of Mirrors)

 

Shikai Ability: Kyōyū sa reta itami (Shared Pain) - Kagami no Jotei can create a radius around Yuichi and any damage he receives will instead of him be transferred to another person regardless if they are friend or foe. Yuichi receives no damage but his spiritual power drops with each transfer. The downside to this move is Yuichi is unable to designate who receives the damage and he still feels the pain of each attack.

 

Shikai Ability: Sutoraiki o Kaesu (Return the Strike) - Yuichi can reverse an attack of his opponents and use it as a counter move. This technique acts as a trump card against an opponent with superior power and skill, as it turns the strength of such opponents against them. The rule to use this move is that Kagami no Jotei must touch the attack to reverse it and the more powerful the attack the more spiritual power is consumed. For example, if a sword slash that can’t be stopped is unleashed Yuichi would need to block and activate this ability before it cuts through his sword making timing very important to use this ability. If Yuichi lacks enough spiritual power to pay Kagami no Jotei for reflecting the attack he’ll face double the damage and could die.

Mirage Step Shinkirō (蜃気楼ステップ) Semi-complete - Mirage Step is a high-speed movement technique that allows the user to move with incredible speed while also reducing their presence and moving in their opponent's blind spots. By sealing their spiritual energy in their bodies the soul reaper can move undetected. In its current incomplete form, Yuichi can control his spiritual energy in such a way that it allows him to easily confuse and misdirect their opponents, making it difficult to track his movements. To perform the Mirage Step, Yuichi gathered reiryoku in his legs and feet, sealing any excess spiritual energy within his body. He releases drops of reiryoku in a specific direction, creating a mirage-like effect when the enemy tries to sense him. He hopes to one day incorporate the Quincy technique Hirenkyaku into it allowing him to create Reishi platforms underneath his feet. This would allow him the ability to move in a way that would create physical mirage-like images further confusing his opponents.

Zanpakuto Name: Shiro no Shikaku (白の刺客 White Assassin)

 

Fuyu no kōtō (Winter Cut) - Mei can imbue her sword with freezing energy that can cause her opponents' bodies to become more rigid with each cut. This makes it increasingly difficult for them to move, and also causes their energy to leak out of their body. The more Mei cuts an opponent, the more ridged their body becomes, and the more energy they lose. Eventually, the opponent's body may become so frozen that they are unable to move or fight, and they will be left with very little energy. This ability can be used to quickly incapacitate an opponent and make them an easy target.

 

Hyōketsu no Kuchizuke (Frozen Kiss) - Subzero Assassination Technique - In this advanced technique, the practitioner takes the principles of Fuyu no kōtō to a deadly new level, combining the precision of a backstab with an instantaneous injection of an overwhelming surge of freezing energy. This technique is known as "Hyōketsu no Kuchizuke," or the Frozen Kiss.

 

Sōzō no yuki (Creation of snow) - Shiro no Shikaku can create ice and snow out of thin air, which she can use to create weapons, barriers, or to blind her opponents.

The downside to using these abilities is that it drains Mei's energy quickly and she can only use it for a short period of time.

 

Glacial Glide (氷河滑走, Hyōga Kassō) Mei Exclusive

Description:

Glacial Glide is an advanced high-speed movement technique that imbues the user with cold, invasive Reiki (spiritual energy). While gliding across the battlefield with extreme speed, the user leaves behind afterimages filled with this frigid energy. If the opponent touches these afterimages, they are invaded by the freezing Reiki, which chills their body, slows their movements, and causes internal damage.

As the user moves, they leave a trail of spiritual cold, like the wake of a glacier cutting through the battlefield. Their movement is fluid and swift, appearing as if they are skating or gliding across an icy surface. This creates multiple afterimages that confuse and mislead opponents, and any contact with the cold energy lingers, causing the opponent to struggle as they are slowed and weakened from within.
