Chapter 90: End of Vale.

(Ria’s POV)

How fucking utterly frustrating to an extreme… I don’t even know how long I was out for. Looking at my System… it was over two goddamn months? The Will had that much power to spare on me?

Though, it would seem that it just wanted an ending that it wrote out. That is to say, it needed me to not mess with its plans once more. My only solace is that nothing bad happened, and that the story will be over very soon.

What a stupid end to it, in my opinion. Clearly, the Will isn’t good at fixing things up on the fly, or going with the flow. Instead, they came up with a very basic ending. With me now back in control, I doubt that anything else crazy will happen to me.

Amelie: “Ignoring my problems with her, and that she kidnapped my wife, I’d say that Vale is fully mentally aware, and she should be held accountable for her actions.” She answered Nina’s earlier question.

Nina: “There you have it, Vale. It would seem that my mother is still alive… So I will give you a choice of how you will die.” She said with her arms crossed.

Vale: “You? You won’t kill me, silly little bitch! You don’t have the courage to end someone’s life.” She said with a confident tone.

Nina: “Do you really think that, or are you just padding for time? Or rather, are you just in denial?” She asked with a scoff.

Vale: “You’re just like your mother! She had plenty of chances to kill me, and I gave her many reasons to do so… but she never did! And you’re the same! I will live and find another way to take over your empire!” She said with an almost crazed tone.

Vale continued to rant like that, clearly having a mental break. Amelie had already released Zia from her restraints, and they were basically just waiting for the madwoman to calm down enough for her execution.

Nina: “To see you like that… It’s just sad, Vale. For so long, I was afraid of you. I honestly never knew how weak you were… It is a wonder why I even waited so long to kill you.” She said with a sigh.

Vale: “You… that gun isn’t loaded… right?” She said with a nervous tone.

Nina: “It is loaded. Oh, and, sorry. You have lost the right to choose how you’ll die now. Any final words?” She asked, pointing the handgun toward Vale’s head.

Vale: “You… You will burn in Hell! You little mistake of a bitc!…” Her words cut off there.

A parent could only listen to such insults about their children for so long, after all. Rushing up to Nina, Zia took the handgun out of her hand, using it to shoot and kill Vale. Ending this whole boring story.

If I wasn’t a watcher at the moment, I would be clapping in approval for Zia’s actions. Of course, this skillful execution confused Nina and Amelie. But that didn’t even matter anymore.

Cut!

Nina: “…”

Amelie: “…”

Oddly, something that I have never seen before happened… Zia saw it too, and God was there as well, funnily enough. Above Nina and Amelie, puppet strings showed up. Instantly, almost as soon as they appeared, those strings were cut.

Unlike before, it was clear that Amelie and Nina had their memories back. I didn’t have to give it back to them this time. What were those strings… Could those have been what controlled the two? The Will…

God: “The strings of fate… Why is the Will using such things like that…” She said with a thinking pose.

Ria: “The strings of fate? I have never heard about something like that.” I reply.

God: “It’s said that, when the Will needs something to happen, it will use that power. But there is no reason to use to a holy power to… control a little play like this one… What the fuck is the Will thinking…” she said with an angry tone.

Nina: “Wait… why are there two Ria’s?” She asked.

Amelie: “Yes, I would like to know that about that as well.” She added.

Zia: “I am the original Ria that you know, call me Zia for now on. And that is a Ria from a different, far in the future timeline.” She explained, walking over to me, and rejoining.

It was nice to be whole again… As exposition is annoying, I just gave Nina and Amelie all the information that they needed via magic. Just what they needed to be caught up with everything that’s happened lately.

Ignoring the confused expressions of that swat team, we left that dimension. Their reactions don’t matter, as that world will soon vanish. And, no. I am not that cruel. I made sure to drag Uni along with us.

This goes without saying, but the world where Sarah is… wasn’t a story dimension. I should have realized something was wrong when everyone there had a soul…

Mena: “Nina! Amelie!” She said with a happy smile, giving them both tight hugs.

Nina: “We’ve missed you too, Mena. Oh, and that goes for all of you.” She said with a warm tone.

Mena: “What’s up with your current form? I miss the child you already…” She asked.

Nina: “Haha, I bribed God to be given this new form! Of course, I could have made it on my own, but that would be a lot of effort. Now you cannot dress me up anymore!” She happily answered.

Mena: “…Hmm… you would look so cute in adult Gothic Lolita clothes.” she said with a thinking pose.

Nina: “…”

Ah, Nina finally realized that God played her, as she will be Mena’s dress up doll for all of eternity. And that won’t ever change, regardless of how mature her body looks. What a poor child… Eh, she should have realized her silly mistake before making it.

A Few Hours Later.

Amelie: “Now that everyone is saved, shouldn’t we be focusing on saving Celia?” She suggested.

God: “How rude… did you forget about your last granddaughter?” She said with a giggle.

Amelie: “Did Celia get another daughter while we were trapped!?” She exclaimed in shock.

Yona: “It’s Ruina. Remember? The one System helper?” She clarified.

Amelie: “Huh? What happened to her… Ria took her as well!? Is that why she won’t respond to me…” She asked with spiral eyes.

God: “Ria gave her a new body, and then sent her to a story dimension. Similar to the one that you and Nina ended up in. Funnily enough, she did that using a power that she stole by killing another timeline version of me.” She explained.

Nina: “So… Ria still needs to save Ruina, and then we can go get Celia?” She said with a thinking pose.

God: “Not quite… I am still at a loss on how to find Sava. For now, Ria needs to save Ruina. Once that is done, she can help me figure out a way to find that elusive woman.” She denied.

Ruina was the last limiter of mine. As such, I didn’t need to rest this time. But I decided to rest anyway, since I wanted to spend time with Amelie. Well… both Zia and I wanted to spend time with her. Sorry, Celia, Ruina. I need some time with my wife…
