Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 4. Chapter 91: Back to my Family. (Chapter 392)

Chapter 91: Back to my Family.

(Amelie’s POV)

Celia being gone was very vexing. I will not lie about that. Though, I do not blame Ria for what happened. In reality, the ones to blame are God and that Sava woman.

Of course, this might just be me being biased toward anyone that isn’t part of my family. Ria is my wife, after all. And Celia is one of my daughters. In such a case, you can’t blame me, either.

Mena: “Hey, Mom?” She said with a thinking pose.

Ria, Tia, Lia, Nia, and Guinevere: “Yes?” They all replied at the same time.

Mena: “…”

Ria: “…”

Tia: “…”

Lia: “…”

Guinevere: “…”

Ah, so that’s the real problem with having a harem, huh? And to think, Celia isn’t here to have to deal with this funny event. It would have been nice to have her added to that long multi-reply as well…

Mena: “Well, either of you could answer this question, I guess…” She said with a slightly awkward tone.

Amelie: “Why not let your grandmother answer it?” I suggest with a proud tone.

Mena: “Amelie… not to be rude, but I doubt that you’ll have the answer.” She said with a giggle.

Amelie: “…”

I hate that she is right… It would seem that everyone else was doing their best to catch up, but I was still just relaxing. Currently, I should be the least informed about current things. I am a failure of a grandmother…

Mena: “Anyway… What happened to the other dimensions that Ria used for us? You mentioned that the one Nina and Amelie were in already vanished…” She asked with a curious tone.

God: “That’s a good question. And luckily, that is, if you have any lingering feelings for that dimension, Ria wasn’t heartless.” She answered.

Mena: “Not heartless? What do you mean…” She said with a confused head tilt.

Ria: “Basically, the Will is heartless. I used those dimensions to play out a story, but none of them were story dimensions. Instead, I used full ones, and just repurposed them for a bit.” She explained.

Alisa: “Which is good. As if that wasn’t the case, then all of Celia’s efforts in those dimensions would have been pointless.” She said with a sigh.

Ria: “Even before meeting this timelines Celia, I would never do something that would undermine her efforts. At least… not without a good reason to do so.” She replied.

Uni: “What the holy hell are you all talking about…” She said with spiral eyes.

Everyone: “…”

Uni was one of Nina’s maids… Ria, as she had nurtured a soul for her, made sure to bring her with us. But Ria didn’t give her any information about… well, anything, really. Mostly because it would be, and is very funny. Ria and us all have been needing a good laugh for a while. This maid being confused 100% of the time is very, very entertaining.

Uni: “Oh, I get it… I am just entertainment to you all… Can I lodge a complaint with HR?” She asked.

Ria: “As your Mistress, I am your HR. Complaint denied. Now, if you can make yourself useful, then you can actually be in the know. So far, you haven’t proven a single thing to me.” She denied.

Uni: “Not a single thing? I was instrumental in dealing with Vale!” She exclaimed.

Ria: “All you did was make my daughter have a more comfortable life. The smallest achievement that my other underlings have done, were them toppling and taking control over an entire dimension.” She replied.

God: “Hold on… I was not aware of this…” She added with a shocked tone.

Ria: “It’s a gift for Celia, so why would you be informed of it?” She said with a laugh.

God: “…”

After a small moment of silence, we all burst out in laughter. Well, all of us besides Uni. That girl was so damn confused most of the time. Though Celia wasn’t here, it was nice to see that we could all still act like a family.

For the longest time, I was certain that Celia was the glue that kept us all together. Thankfully, and perhaps due to this separation that we all had to go through, that wasn’t the case at all anymore.

Nina: “That begs the question… will Ruina’s dimension also be a story one?” She asked.

Ria: “I think that it will be. And, just like with your story dimension, the Will… will be annoying. It absolutely hated me doing that story in Celia’s stead, after all.” She answered.

Amelie: “That sensation of being freed… I will probably never forget that feeling.” I say with a shiver.

Nina: “Neither will I. That feeling of being released from some higher powers control… it wasn’t anything to celebrate. The being freed part was nice, but the realization that was being controlled… is nightmarish…” She agreed.

God: “Truly, I understand. While I have no idea what the Will is thinking, at least Ria’s method is less cruel in comparison now.” She added.

Ria: “Regardless of new comparisons, I am still deeply sorry for what I did.” She said with a remorseful tone and expression.

Yona: “Enough with the apologies, Ria. We have already forgiven you by now. And Ruina will do so as well.” She said with a smile.

The acceptance and forgiveness that we’ve given Ria was something that also saved her. Ria is now fully part of our family, just like how Zia is. Discussions over Sarah weren’t so favorable, though…

God: “Even in that case, I still don’t believe that Ria is at fault.” She replied.

Ria: “I still feel for responsible for it, though…” She said with a sad tone.

God: “You shouldn’t. The Will is clearly willing to control others, so it isn’t that big of an assumption that it controlled you into making that deal.” She said with a confident tone.

Amelie: “Regardless of the truth, I will side with Ria on this one.” I say with a smile.

Yona: “Siding with the woman that gives you immense pleasure; isn’t as grand of a revelation as you expect it to be, Amelie.” She said with a laugh.

Amelie: “…”

Why do you all have to direct your jabs at me? Uni is right fucking there! Look at her, so damn useful for making jokes at her expense… But noooooo! You have to still throw jabs at me… Now I feel their laughter to be slightly annoying… You shouldn’t make me feel like Uni!!!

Yona: “Oh? The rare pouting Amelie… I have missed seeing such a sight, I’ll be honest.” She said with a happy tone.

Ria: “Don’t worry. I plan to leave tomorrow, but Zia and I will make sure that Amelie will be glowing for at least a week.” She said with a sultry tone and expression, licking her lips.

Amelie: “…”

One Ria was more than enough… Now with Zia and Ria switching places at random, I couldn’t get a moment of calming down. They, much to my pleasure, kept going all night. Ah, due to my big mouth, my wife will be shutting me up tonight, huh? I look forward to it with bated breath…
