Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 4. Chapter 99: With This, We’re Prepared! (Chapter 400)

Chapter 99: With This, We’re Prepared!

(Yona’s POV)

If Celia did something like this, I would scold her for taking the easy way out. But this, arguably not at all honorable way to get more powerful, is what we all needed to survive.

Ria said that Celia was always going to survive that game, and so was she. With this “training”, none of us will end up dying. Ria saw that in the future, all of us were still by Celia’s side.

There was a small problem, where one or more of us wouldn’t be there. This meant that… there was a small possibility that one of us will die in the game. But that is fate, and it isn’t something that we can change.

God said that switching timelines, or rather, making new ones by time traveling, won’t be an answer anymore. Ria already used up the one redo, the single one that was supposed to belong to God alone.

At most, only God can go back in time, and not that far. Which meant that no one could save us in the event of our deaths. Though we have prepared enough to give ourselves the best chances of surviving.

Solia: “I never thought that you’d be as powerful as me, dear.” She said with a warm tone, holding me.

Yona: “I didn’t expect this either… I wonder if Celia will be happy about our progress?” I reply.

Solia: “I am sure that she will be. After all, she very much cares for our wellbeing. If Celia knew that we were as strong, if not stronger than her, there is a 100% chance that she will be happy about it.” She said with a confident tone.

On that, I would have to agree. Ah… my Status… It’s to the point where I feel almost disgusted by it. I don’t even want to look at it right now… Obviously; I am just very old-fashioned. I barely worked for this power, which makes me feel bad about having it.

Nia: “You seem upset, Yona.” She said with a concerned tone.

Yona: “Oh… it’s nothing. I am just a little disappointed that it was so easy to get this powerful…” I admit with a slightly embarrassed tone.

Ruina: “You shouldn’t feel bad, Yona. Celia hates bugs, especially spiders. She would be honored that we’ve killed so many of them. Of course, I dedicated my personal spider kills to Celia.” She said with a proud tone.

Yona: “…”

Ruina… this girl was extremely close to how Celia is. And she admitted as such, saying that she had based her original personality on Celia. Which is why she acts so similar to her. It’s very cute… In a way, Ruina is like a younger sister that tries to act like her older sister…

Gui: “If you want to feel bad, why not feel some remorse for these spiders? So far, we’ve killed probably thousands of them.” She suggested.

Yona: “They don’t have souls, why would I feel remorse over killing them?” I reply with a head tilt.

Gui: “Wow… already acting like a Higher Being, huh? What a quick adjustment you’ve gone through. I am sure that the others will take a few years to get to your level of comfort.” She praised.

Nia: “Both Yona and I weren’t humans ever, so it is easier for us to adjust. Not to mention, but I was already a Goddess in the first place.” She added with a laugh.

Devil: “Did you really count as such? Back then, you just called yourself a Goddess of Death. That wasn’t even your domain at the time, you know.” She replied.

Nia: “…”

Yona: “There’s a difference?” She replied.

Devil: “Of course there is. For instance, a person can be a God or Goddess in a dimension, but that was just granted to them. And they wouldn’t be considered a Higher Being.” She explained.

Uni: “Again, I have no idea what you all are talking about… But at least I won’t be dying in that game you all keep bringing up.” She said with a sigh.

Once again, we started to laugh at Uni’s expense. I didn’t need to ask Ria, as it was clear that we have kept Uni around, just as something for enjoyment. In a way, Uni is sorta like a toy to us. Before, I wouldn’t think like this, but I guess that being a Supreme Goddess has changed my thinking somewhat…

Ria: “Everyone, your group is the last. Are you all strong enough now?” She asked.

Yona: “We’re now as strong as this method will get us. That is, in a decent timeframe.” I answer for everyone.

Ria: “Good, good. Although it will be a while from now, know that no future seeing power will work during the game. Also, please look for Celia’s friends. Most of them are scattered, after all.” She advised.

Solia: “I thought that it was your responsibility to find them? Don’t you know where they are? A few extra powerful friends will do wonders for our chances of survival.” She said with a raised eyebrow.

Ria: “I just saved them. I couldn’t, and can’t, check where they were sent to, no. I am sure that Celia would like to look for them once she gets back, but the game will probably start by that point.” She denied.

Yona: “Will the game really start just like that?” I ask with an unsure tone.

Ria: “Currently, both God and I are certain of this. The Will of this universe extremely favors Celia to an absurd degree. Only when she is back… will the game start.” She said with a confident tone.

Yona: “…”

How very frustrating… Even after all this work, Celia won’t be able to rest? Like before, she will be thrown to go do more work… If ever a chance comes, I will kill that Will once and for all! It is the Will’s fault that Celia never gets a break!! How dare that Higher Being fucker control my daughter’s life like it is a game!!!

Zia: “Something on your mind, Yona?” She asked.

Yona: “I am just thinking about killing that Will, Zia.” I answer with an evil tone.

Zia: “And take all the fun? Sorry, but we’ll be killing that monster together. Anyone, or anything, that tries to control my family will be torn to endless bits for doing so.” She said with a serious tone.

Ah, so she thought the same as well? How wonderful! The entire family met back up, and thus started a big discussion on how we should kill the Will. It was very productive, and went on to us deciding to kill the rest of the Will’s alongside our own Will. This lively discussion lasted a while. That was, until God showed up with some curious news…
