Chapter 44: Seduction.
(Celia’s POV)
Prior to leaving, Maralia had warned us to not get any stronger. She had blocked all the information about it from getting out, but if we gained more levels still so early in the game, it would bring her some trouble.
Marin: “…”
Jen: “…”
As such, my Status was just the same as before. But it was far more than enough to make the two women be surprised to all hell. Ah… the reactions are so good, but not as good as my wives and family members… Eh, I am still happy about this!
Jen: “…Did you cheat?” She asked with a nervous tone.
Celia: “No. June and I just got lucky. Prior to starting the game, I had piled up all my SIPs. And in the System Store were joke items, which were very, very expensive. I bought a few of them, which was how I got this strong so early.” I explain.
Marin: “Do… do you have more of those items?” She asked with a curious tone.
Celia: “No. Most of them were removed from the store, and heavily nerfed. The remaining items also became very expensive.” I deny.
Jen: “…”
Celia: “But do not worry, as I have plenty of items that I bought, all of which were stupidly expensive. For the low, low price of, join our guild, and do not betray us, you can have such items as… Ten Levels Up Crystal, 2X EXP Multiplier, Ultimate Health Potion, and an Ultimate Mana Potion.” I say, taking out the items from my storage, and letting the two inspect them.
Jen and Marin had looked at the items, and were shocked beyond belief, giving me even better expressions this time. It took a while, but they eventually faced reality, and had to believe that these items were real, and that I had a supply of them.
Jen: “What… what do you want from us?” She asked with a serious tone.
Celia: “Like I said, I just want your loyalty. If you join my guild, then I will not have to kill you to win the game. I didn’t take them out, but I also have very expensive and powerful weapons, armor, shields, etc.” I answer.
Jen: “One level up crystal per person…” She replied.
Celia: “?”
Jen: “I need to make sure that they’re actually real.” She clarified.
Oh, no problem. Before they could react, I shoved a level up crystal into their mouths. Marin could join the guild as well, but it would make her a player. Saren, Remi, and their parents all denied this. It wasn’t their fight; they said. But considering who Marin’s new wife is, I am certain that she will want to have a stake in this game now.
Marin: “It’s…” Her words were cut off.
Jen: “It’s real!” She exclaimed in shock.
Taking out the rest of my bribe items, I placed them at their feet. Once more, they inspect those items, and were surprised ever more. There was a cheap storage ring in the store, so I also bought a huge bulk of them as well. I stuffed each ring with countless Ten Levels Up Crystal’s, 2X EXP Multipliers, Ultimate Health Potion’s, and Ultimate Mana Potion’s.
With such a grand bribe, of course, the two women had joined up right away. I soon left Marin’s shop, and then was having some fun looking at the guild tab. I could now see Marin’s and Jen’s levels, and they kept going higher and higher. Ah, seduction via worldly items, achieved! Now then… who will be my next target for seduction?
