Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 5. Chapter 56: I Just Want to See My Wife… (Chapter 457.)

Chapter 56: I Just Want to See My Wife…

(Lia’s POV)

Lia: “Why can’t I go in?” I ask with my arms crossed.

Guard: “This area is fully owned by the guild, The United Lesbians Under Celia, and only members are allowed inside.” She answered.

Though still a human, I could tell that this woman was… very powerful. With them being in Celia’s guild, the members of her guild should also be Higher Beings. As such, I can’t exactly force my way inside…

Lia: “Though I am not yet part of the guild, I am married to the guild leader.” I inform.

Guard: “And? Is there any way that you can prove that?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Lia: “…”

I was actually at a complete loss here… If I was Nia, then I could show off my direct soul connection to Celia, but I am not like that with her. Sure, we’re married, but we haven’t actually gotten officially married. Which is why only Nia has such a connection with Celia.

Guard: “If you cannot prove your identity, then please leave. Our guild is very partial to females, but only the upper echelon of the guild can live in this area.” She said with a sigh.

This guard wasn’t actually dressed up like a guard, in truth. She was actually just wearing a very pretty outfit. I don’t recognize the style, so it wasn’t made by Celia, thankfully. Otherwise, if it was… I would be beyond jealous right now.

Lia: “But… I came all this way to find her…” I say with a sad tone.

Guard: “Sorry, but we only trust those in the guild, so I cannot just let you in. Even if you’re very weak right now.” She replied, shaking her head.

Lia: “Doesn’t the guild prioritize recruiting players of the game? I am one, you know.” I say with a somewhat desperate tone.

Guard: “True… I do sense some divinity in you. But, again, I am not really someone that ranks high in this guild. It’s not like this guard position of mine is even official… it is just something we decided to do.” She replied with a remorseful tone.

Lia: “…”

Guard: “On top of that, I haven’t recruited anyone to the guild, so I don’t really know the right protocol, or what the guild leader really wants in someone joining.” She added with a sigh.

Lia: “…”

Jen: “You’re one of her wives?” She asked, popping up out of nowhere.

Hey! That is something that my wife does! You can’t take it from her… Ah, I guess that Ria was the one who really started that trend, though…

Lia: “I am, yes.” I reply with a nod.

Marin: “Can you prove it?” She asked.

Lia: “I know that she is afraid of spiders, where her sensitive spots are on her body, and I know almost everything there is to know about her.” I answer with a serious tone.

Marin: “Hm…” She said with a thinking pose.

Jen: “Should we trust her?” She said with an unsure tone.

Marin: “Getting Celia to meet one of her wives would… surely win us some points in her heart. Even if she is a fraud, why don’t we take a chance and contact Celia about this?” She proposed.

Jen: “Okay, I will go with your proposal, dear.” She quickly agreed.

They agreed so easily? Ah, so they can just contact other guild members through the System, huh? If so, why didn’t the guard do that? Oh, she looks embarrassed. It must be a small access thing to be able to contact the guild leader. My wife is so CEO like!
