NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 7: Finally, Status.
(Celia’s POV)
Unfortunately, even after waiting an entire month, the water’s effects still haven’t cemented themselves in my body just yet. Which meant that I must wait for longer. Besides talking to Sava, I really had no other forms of entertainment…
Celia: “Sava… I am sooooo bored.” I say, pouting all the way.
Sava: “Celia… you’re so very broken. It actually hurts to realize this…” She said with a sad tone.
Celia: “Broken? How so…” I reply with a confused tone.
Sava: “You’re a higher being, and yet you can’t do doing for just a few months. The least laziest higher being that I know… she could only sit still for two years. Which is considered very short for our kind.” She replied.
Celia: “…”
Sava: “Somehow, you never lost your humanity and mortality viewpoints. Who cares if you spend even years doing nothing? You have so much time before the game starts, and I have checked on your family. They’re absolutely fine, and are getting stronger to not be a burden to you.” She added.
Celia: “Even then… your argument fails, as you haven’t provided me any source of entertainment, Sava.” I pout out.
Sava: “Would you relax if I did give you entertainment? I’ll be honest, Celia. I doubt that highly. In fact, I doubt that you’ll ever really relax after you and your family have gotten to Home.” She said with a confident tone.
Celia: “…No comment on that.” I say with a shrug.
Sava: “At the very least… you can check your Status out now.” She informed.
Celia: “Really!?” I say with an excited tone.
Sava: “Yes. It was far easier to add a system to this universe than our original one, so it didn’t take that long to do. Please do look at your Status.” She said with a smile.
Woohoo! Ever since Sava kidnapped me, I haven’t been able to check my Status. Now, I have a chance to see if I am just being crazy, or I have actually gotten far stronger with just using the weird and magical water! Status, don’t upset me now!!!

Sava: “What’s wrong? Is the power increase not that big?” She asked with a nervous tone.
Celia: “…”
Without any more words between us, I let Sava look at my Status. Her reaction was to stare at it for a bit, and then do a bunch of stuff with holographic displays that I have never seen before. She did this for a while, constantly looking back and forth from my Status, and, what I assume is the main control for the System.
Her confusion was warranted, as… what the fuck!? I am now like, more than three times stronger than when I started my dip in these waters… Didn’t I need over 50,000 Exp to level up? It was now less than half of the previous needed Exp…
Celia: “Sava… this Status of mine isn’t accurate… right?” I ask with a nervous tone.
Sava: “If it wasn’t accurate… I wouldn’t be going crazy right now!” She answered with a confused tone.
Celia: “…”
Sava: “Aaaaaahhh!!! This makes no sense! The power increase is too high! I might have broken a few cosmic laws!!!” She exclaimed in shock.
Cosmic laws? She mentioned that before… In a vacuum, that is, without being able to test my power out, I didn’t realize that I had gotten so much stronger. But this is just absurd to an extreme level.
Didn’t I just, like, basically skip a few hundred levels, while maintaining the same level? Ah, thank Goddess that the pool stopped affecting me! Even if it is free, I don’t wish to get so much power this quickly and easily, without me even needing to train even a little bit…
Lots of Fiddling With Things That I Don’t Understand Later.
Eventually, Sava had to give up and accept what she had accidentally done. To make sure everything was alright, Sava examined my body up and down, even looking carefully at my soul. Awa… I feel somewhat violated…
Sava: “Well… you seem fine, Celia.” She said with a relieved tone.
Celia: “I might be fine, but isn’t this still bad?” I say with a nervous tone.
Sava: “I did a lot of research, and I, luckily, haven’t broken any laws. So we’re good on that front. As for you… the power increase was grand, but it shouldn’t be anything bad.” She answered.
Celia: “Excuse me, but how can this not be bad? I haven’t even leveled up, but I have gotten so much stronger…” I reply.
Sava: “From my research, I figured out what happened. Basically, this is your peak at this level. That is to say, if you did EVERYTHING correctly, trained optimally, and invested each and every one of your SIP’s into your Stats, this is what the outcome will be.” She explained.
Celia: “At level 1427? Isn’t that a little too powerful?” I ask.
Sava: “Oh, it very much is. As your Stats are if you got the most SIP’s on each level up, as physically possible. Which, this goes without saying, but absolutely no one can get such luck!” She said in reply.
Celia: “…”
Sava: “…”
Celia: “Don’t tell me that I have to keep my Status a secret now as well…” I say with a groan.
Sava: “You don’t… But please do not go around and flaunt it to anyone that isn’t part of your family. Other higher beings will be very pissed off, and even without them being able to contact UPF, enough dissatisfaction will get them to investigate.” She advised with a serious tone.
Celia: “…Alright.” I agree.
Of course, I will be following her advice to a tee. Rather than to my family, I don’t care about showing off my Status to others in the least. Frankly, what I am concerned about right now… is how much stronger that I will get. I am almost 20% of my level cap for this race, after all. Won’t I be getting even more powerful in time? My body and mind are greatly excited…
