[▪︎Guardians Of The Globe Base, Utah▪︎]

[As a result of the availability of advanced resources from the Flaxan and other related dimensions, the Xyrians have been able to reach the milestone.

[The Prime Empire now spans a thousand planets minus the dwarf worlds. Using their Dimensional Warp Drives and superior technology, they've managed to expand their influence to thousands of star systems in the Xanis Galaxy alone, bringing more and more civilizations under the Imperium's rule.

[Aside from that they are also making strides in exploring other neighboring Galaxies for more data to complete the Universal Mapping.

[As we speak, my database is filled with tons of data every day about the structure of the universe and its inhabitants. Oh and the Zavest variant will be ready tomorrow.]

Seraph informs dutifully as she shows me rows of holographic displays that contain statistical bars, charts, some details of the recently conquered races, and a whole lot.

Filling the entirety of my view in a structured manner.

Standing on the elevated platform on which I can see the picturesque view of the surrounding mountains through the widescreen, the corners of my lip lift into a genuine smile as I scan all the displays.

Quite frankly, I'm not really surprised. It was an eventuality that given the resources and manpower that my budding Empire possesses, I'd have that number of worlds in my control but...the feeling is a different thing.

The deep sense of pride that is welling up from the core of my being and spreads throughout, consuming each and every part of me with its gnarly tendrils is a mind-boggling sensation.

Together with the extremely intoxicating feeling of having almost total control and sovereignty of that many lives, wealth, and resources is way more potent than any drug capable of existing.

It's hard to put into words...this feeling of power and authority. And it's extremely hard to not get drunk in its divine produce.

But I manage, otherwise, I wouldn't be here right now...

Out of the blue, another holographic screen flashes in front of me, different from the rest covering my field of vision. This one is showing live footage of a fight, no a beating.

[As you can see, Invincible is in trouble. Should I notify the team?]

She asks as I watch Invincible get beat up by a hulking and towering—probably seven and a half feet—humanoid white tiger with familiar villains like Kursk and Furnace in the background fighting a man whose whole body is made of stone.

He is wearing an advanced black breastplate with orange strips, yellow and orange armor skirts, orange and black forearm sleeves that extend to his hand as gloves, black and orange pants with knee-length boots, and a unique helmet made of black material.

In the left hand is a stylish double-edged sword and in this right hand is a gilded mace.

A Pantheran? Since when are these guys as strong as a Viltrumite? And how the hell did he travel to Earth?

"Yeah, do that now."

I wave my hand dismissively, focused on the feed with fascination as the Pantheran continues to beat Invincible to a bloody pulp with no resistance.

In the background, Machine Head is gloating with Isotope by his side as the fighting goes on. The Order is involved? Aren't they supposed to be laying low?

This whole thing is interestingly abnormal.

...Just when I thought nothing will surprise me anymore. A Pantheran beating a Viltrumite...hah, this is just too unreal even for me.

Something's extremely wrong...

As a light frown settles on my face, I conjure up a portal and walk through it to appear in the open space or mini-hanger of the base.

Everyone on the team is already here, suited and geared up thoroughly with confused looks on their faces except Ruddy.

"Don't ask, just prepare yourselves for battle. Invincible's in trouble and needs our help. The moment you step out of this portal, let loose on all the villains."

I command them swiftly—looking at each of them seriously—as I create a portal besides me.

Wordlessly, they all nod and immediately move into the portal, all except Crysela who comes to stand next to me.

"Let's go."

She whispers warmly as she draws a large silver hilt from her back with no blade but the moment she waves it, it sings as tiny silver pieces of metal flow out of the hilt and condense into her iconic claymore, gleaming brightly in the light.

I nod and then both of us walk into the portal.

<Bang! Bang! Bang!>

The moment we appear, the chaotic sounds of the fighting ring into our ears. Around us on the polished cream floor littered with shining glass shards, the Guardians are busily engaging the villains present.

To my left, a bleeding and badly injured Invincible is hovering in the air on a suspended square board powered by four glowing brown orbs at each corner.

Besides him, Ruddy is protecting him from any stray attacks from the villains who are getting beat up by the Guardians.

Immortal is fighting Magnattack—barely pulling his punches—Kursk is in the hands of Rex Splode and Dupli-Kate, Monster Girl is giving Tether Hydrant a tough time, and Shrinking Ray is wreaking havoc the inside of Magmaniac, making him flail around like a madman.

Finally, Bulletproof and Black Samson are struggling to even dodge the casual swings of his mace and sword of the Pantheran.

"...It looks like everything is under control. Excuse me, I have a rat with a machine head to smoke out."

Crysela says with a dark smile and walks towards the exquisite mahogany table and chair. Underneath the table, the cause of this mess, Machine Head, is hiding.

Silently, I observe the armored Pantheran fully as he fights, breaching past his strong mental walls into his deep mind while as if by consensus, both the heroes and villains avoid coming anywhere near my position.

...Amazing, so his name is Thokk, otherwise known as Battle Beast. The former Pantheran planetary Guardian, the scourge of Twin Galaxies.

A conqueror just like me with a thousand planets from the twin Galaxies, bearing his mark.

This guy is fucking dangerous.

<Boom!>

"Raargh! Weak, why are you vermin so weak and pitiful!"

Battle Beast roars in frustration as with one swing of his sword—a swing so fast that Bulletproof and Black Samson can't react to its speed—they almost get killed but with a thought, a barrier made of concentrated air shields them from the attack.

But it explodes in the next second, blowing the duo away forcefully to the other side of the room like a weightless rag doll. They roll on the shard-covered floor groaning in pain.

...Sigh, the assholes nearly killed themselves.

"Huh?"

Battle Beast cocks an eyebrow as he straightens up and turns to look at me in mild surprise while the team finishes up with the rest of the villains, some of them bleeding on the ground.

Staring at me, his ocean blue eyes light up as a wide smile that shows his pearly white menacing fangs draws on his face.

Smiling in return, I watch as he places his mace on his bulging shoulder and points his double-edged sword at me as it glistens with the afternoon sun.

"Finally! A worthy adversary has appeared. This battle will be glorious!"
