The moment I pass through the portal and my feet touch the ground, I immediately get surrounded by Robot and other Robots like him—their glowing palms stretched towards me.

Seeing this, my lips curl up into a calm smile as my eyes dart all over their menacing visages and the dimly lit room.

The room is small with smooth black metallic walls, flooring, and ceiling. There is an inclined futuristic chamber connected to various tubes from its sides at the far end of the room.

"How?"

Robot—the one I'm familiar with—asks in a monotone.

"You'll need to be more specific Robot."

I reply with a smile.

"How did you find this place? No one knows, about this or me. Not even Cecil, I've always been careful enough to evade even him."

He says.

"Cecil's not the only one with eyes all over the Globe. For me, I have eyes almost everywhere so it's hard for something as interesting as yourself to escape my radar."

I shrug with a smirk and silence fills the room.

With Seraph having control of most of the satellites in space coupled with our invention of a new type of nanobot built specifically for surveillance and spread all around the world, it's not a stretch to say I have God's eye.

"Don't worry, I'm not here to cause trouble. I just want to talk Robot...or should I say, Rudolph?"

I remark and with a peaceful smile, fix my gaze on the chamber.

"Let him through."

A weird shrill-like voice—very annoying to the ears—ears resounds all over the room.

The Robots, immediately put their hands down and part to the sides, creating a passageway that leads straight to the chamber.

I saunter through and stop a few feet away from the chamber then I look at the figure inside—the chamber is filled with a greenish solution.

The figure is a brown overgrown baby with distorted features; a disfigured face and mouth covered by a respirator, and skin so thin that even a slight touch could hurt him.

This is Rudolph Conners—the true body of Robot.

"You are truly different aren't you Prime? I expected you to flinch in disgust or even frown, but you are still as calm as you've always been. I'm impressed."

He says and giggles pitifully.

Sigh, this guy is just...sad. His story is pitiful and depressing, even for me. Imagine being born looking like a monster and abandoned to live your life as a baby with no one to care about you.

The worst thing about all of this is that even breathing is dangerous to him and when he's exposed to the air, it hurts him.

Like a weird form of balance, nature blessed him with impeccable intellect—one so high that he can be labeled as the smartest man on the planet—if I wasn't around.

To be honest, I admire him a little. After all, if I was to be in his shoes, I'm not sure I could make it to this point and even if I did, I wouldn't spend my time helping others.

"Well, I've seen worst."

I shrug with a bright smile that makes him look at me weirdly.

"I see. So tell me Prime, what can I do for you?"

He asks.

"The better question is what can I do for you?"

I reply.

"What do you mean by that?"

"I've been watching you for a long time Rudolph and I've seen or better yet heard what you intend to do about your situation and I want to help."

Hearing this, his eyes widen in shock and he releases a strong cough.

"How do you plan on doing that? Wait a minute, how long have you been watching me!"

He screams the last part and starts coughing violently, so much so that Robot dashes to his chamber and swiftly tinkers with it, making him calm down.

...Sigh, this guy really has it rough.

"Calm down, that's not important right now. To my knowledge, you need a body—a functioning one—and I help with that."

I say confidently.

He stares at me for a few seconds and says,

"Okay, assuming you can do that, do you have the means to transfer my consciousness to the new body?"

He asks skeptically.

"Yes, that won't be a problem at all.".

I reply convincingly with a serious face.

He becomes quiet. His eyes are unfocused as he sinks into his thoughts and after a minute, he looks up at me with eyes brimming with hope.

"Let's I believe that you can do all this, but I have a question. Why? Why will you go through all this trouble to help someone you barely know? What do you want from me?"

He inquires seriously, his deformed eyes narrowed on my face.

A charming smile draws on my face and I begin,

"I have a handful of reasons as to why I want to help you, one of them is pity."

I pause and let it stink, then continue.

"...But the main reason is that I want someone like you on my side. You see, I cherish your intellectual potential and the zeal within to make the world a better place, making you the perfect person I need."

I end passionately.

"So basically, you want me to be your subordinate?"

He says calmly.

"Think of it like a Protégé, but essentially yes."

I shrug playfully, making him chuckle—a weird one.

"I love your honesty, GOD knows we need some of that in this world. I have one final question though, what is your goal? What do you want to accomplish that you need my help?"

He asks—a tad bit too seriously— and with my senses, I notice the Robots fully alert and ready for action.

...Very amusing since he knows that no matter what he does if I want to hurt him no one can save him.

But I'll give him props for bravery.

"I have big plans Rudolph plans I can't share with you at the moment.

There are a lot of things about this planet or even the universe that you have no idea about—dangerous and frightening things that can spell the end of us all—and you can say that I want to prevent that from happening.

I won't say I'm a good guy but I want to make a change, a change so big that in the future, people wouldn't have to live in fear of what Alien or supervillain will strike next.

A change that will bring prosperity and peace, and you can help me with that. So tell me, Rudolph Conners, will you help me bring about this change."

I begin passionately and end with a serious question.

The whole room immediately becomes silent.

The Robots relax and Rudolph sighs in relief as his narrowed eyes become normal and he flashes me a smile—one that would've been nice if his lips weren't crooked.

"Count me in."

"Good, now that we are on the same page, let's talk about your situation. I'll send you or Robot, a form to fill out. It will be about the body you want—the specifications and all that— so that I can start building the body. Take all the time you need to think about what you want and don't be afraid to go wild on the details."

I inform him and he nods.

"After that, how long will it take for me to get the body?"

He asks anxiously.

"A day or two."

I answer him with a calming voice.

"That's amazing. Thank you so much for this, it will be an honor to work with you...Sir."

He says gratefully, his face full of excitement.

"The honor is all mine. I'll see you soon Rudolph, don't die just yet."

I joke with a pleasing smile and conjure a portal behind me.

After flashing the Robots a wave and receiving their nods, I walk into the portal and appear in my penthouse.

I immediately walk to my mini-bar—located left of the couches—and pour myself a bottle of whiskey.

Then, I move and plump down on one of my extremely expensive and soft couches and take a sip of the drink—savoring its sweet fruity flavor.

|Kate just sent you a text.|

Seraph announces, bringing a smile to my face.

"What did she say?"

|She wants to meet tomorrow.|

"Clear my schedule and respond as usual."

I take another sip and say.

Hehe, I'm going to enjoy you tomorrow. My sweet...Asian rabbit.
