Arc 3: Unknown Discovery - Chapter 3

"What kind of bullshit is this?!" I yell at Shu, pointing to a wounded person on the ground near me, whom I had overestimated by far.

"What do you mean?! I show you my champion, and you beat him up out of nowhere! If anything, I should be asking you this!" Shu shouted back.

"Because I have a rough idea of who your champion is and wanted to see if he is anything like the one I know!" I continued yelling at Shu, who didn't flinch and scowled at me heavily.

"I think this is the first time I've seen Jin so angry." Ruby whispers to the others.

"The only time... not really. I don't think I've seen Jin angry either since he came into my life." Nyarla put a finger to her chin with a thoughtful look.

"I guess whoever that bald man attacked must have meant something to Jin if he reacted like that." Weiss raises an eyebrow and stares at the injured bald man, who is wearing a yellow one-piece jumpsuit with a short zipper at the collar and a black belt with a round gold bucket in the center. He is wearing red gloves covering 3/4 of his forearms and red boots, almost reaching his knees. The costume is completed by a white cape fastened to his shoulders with large round buttons.

"That should be Saitama, one of the many favorite champions of various pantheons who managed to get a hold of him before he reached three years of his special training." Shouko tells Ruby and Weiss. "He is considered one of the highest ranks among the natives and the one chosen by fate."

"Is he strong?" Ruby asks Shouko.

"Among the natives? Extremely strong." Shouko nods. "But if he doesn't have a contract with an entity outside of his home world or is brought out of his home world by another entity, he becomes weak and unable to protect himself against those who walk in the multiverse. Even the weakest among multiverse travelers can deal with him. But the moment he receives a contract, his original strength is restored, and he becomes the most powerful enemy or ally anyone can have in a war between worlds."

I stopped yelling at Shu and stared at Shouko, shocked to hear her talk so much, more than I ever thought she could say at one time.

"Then why is he so easily beaten by Jin?" Weiss asks Shouko.

I'm curious to know the answer myself.

"It is because we are all part of a pantheon of higher status. Meanwhile, Saitama is strong in this world as well as in any other world under my control. He can't hurt any of us because of his lower status. It's one of the fragile rules that those with lower status in a pantheon cannot harm those above them."

"Sorry, one second." Weiss interrupts Shu's explanation. "Why did you say fragile before the world rules? I mean, I can understand that there are rules we have to follow in the multiverse, but why do you call it fragile?"

"Right, I forgot you're new and haven't been to high school yet." Shu nods slowly. "By fragile rules, I mean that there are different levels of rules. The ones that can be ignored are fragile rules that are placed between the many worlds, either ownerless or owned by someone. Natives can't break them, but multiverse travelers can easily break them; that's why they're called fragile rules. I won't tell you anymore because there's no point. All you need to know is that because Jin can break the fragile rules and is able to beat up Saitama so easily."

"So... if Saitama were to fully join the Eldritch pantheon..." I trail off, staring at Shu.

"He could beat up almost everyone here." Shu admits without shame. "But that would lead to many problems, and then he would be killed by various pantheons—an unwritten rule among the pantheons. No one can fully accept someone like Saitama into their pantheon or risk the wrath of many pantheons. Especially since he became too strong in the past, a version of Saitama almost caused the extinction of many powerful pantheons. Now, no one wants that to happen again, so the only status he could achieve was the champion position, which just makes him better than a native and would be able to use his strength in other worlds fully."

"Huh..." I stare at the unconscious form of Saitama, feeling embarrassed and ashamed now that I thought I had overestimated Saitama and underestimated my cheats by far. "My mistake."

"Well, I can't blame you. Saitama is very famous outside of his world." Shu rubs her forehead in frustration.

"Wait, what makes him so famous?" Ruby looks down at the still unconscious Saitama. "He looks a little silly."

"He is famous for punching entities to death with one punch." Shu replied. "If you were to face him. He can kill you with a single blow. Although that is, if you were a native of this world."

"Too bad he's not much fun. He's kind of boring when he's not fighting and he's always talking about missing out on coupons and sales." Nyarla points out, also hinting that she must have hung out with Saitama before, but it didn't end well. At least with this Saitama, unless she met someone else with a Saitama.

"Are you talking about this, Saitama?" Weiss asks Nyarla.

"Nope, there was a Saitama, who somehow became one of my previous caretakers." Nyarla replied.

I'm sorry, but what?

"The ones you mentioned that keep dying until Jin shows up?" Ruby blinks at Nyarla.

"Yes, although he didn't even try that hard and ended up getting eaten by one of the bugs outside my apartment." Nyarla said in a way that made it seem like a common thing.

Note to self: Even someone like Saitama can't survive in the world of Crawling Dreams. Or at least it should have been Saitama before his three years of training to become One Punch Man.

"So what now?" I ask everyone as I use Boundary Manipulation to heal Saitama and force him to regain consciousness instantly.

"Well, I could get an apology for getting beaten up out of the blue." Saitama said to me in an empty tone.

"He will do no such thing." Nyarla said before anyone could, her eyes glowing once more.

Oh, it's Nyarla's eldritch ego in control again.

"Ok." Saitama quickly looked away, his face covered with cold sweat.

"Jin~!" Nyarla moves in, kissing me on the lip for a few seconds before pushing my face into her breasts, and I'm out of breath.

What felt like an eternity until I was released by Nyarla, who is blushing while her eyes are no longer glowing.

Okay, weird. But not something I would say no to.

"I still get chills when Auntie Nyarla's eldritch ego shows up." Shu said with a trembling voice. "Anyway, it's getting dark soon. We should go to Saitama's apartment and find a room for ourselves."

"By the way, Shu. Do you have an eldritch ego, or are you the eldritch ego?" I ask out of curiosity.

"Technically, I am the eldritch ego, but there is no alter ego. I am one of the rare cases where we are just one ego." Shu replied. "I can make my eyes glow like other eldritch egos, but I don't bother with that because there's no point for me to do so."

"Jin, carry me." Nyarla doesn't even wait for my answer, as she is now on my back. Then she starts sniffing my hair, causing me to raise my eyebrows above my hairline.

"Jin, carry me too!" Ruby jumped into my arms from the front, almost knocking me over as I carried her like a princess. "Hey, Nyarla."

"Hello, Ruby." Nyarla greeted back as she wrapped her legs around my waist to support herself and hang off my back.

In no time at all, we've made it to the same apartment shown in the canon series. And through En, I can see that no one else is in the apartment, so it's pretty much abandoned if Saitama doesn't live here.

Entering through the front entrance, we can see the place is dusty in some areas. However, it didn't matter as through Boundary Manipulation. I made the whole apartment building dust-free; that way, no one accidentally inhaled some dust.

In addition, an electric generator is installed in the basement of the apartment, making me wonder if Saitama brought it here or if it was already there when he started living here. Either way, it still works fine, but how long is the question with how crazy Saitama's life is whenever a monster shows up in town?

"This place is small." Was the first thing Nyarla said to Saitama when we entered his apartment.

"Well, this is the only thing I could afford." Saitama scratched the back of his head.

"Wait." Weiss cut Saitama off before he could make any more excuses for living in such a small place. "You have to pay rent? This place? To whom?"

"Yeah, like around 10,000 yen monthly." Saitama answered.

Weiss looks at me, or trying to, as Nyarla and Ruby have yet to get off me.

I honestly have no idea how the lien used in Remnant can be converted into other currencies in other worlds. So all I could do was shrug at Weiss, or at least try to make it look like I was shrugging, but see that she was still staring at me.

"It's cheap..." I don't know if it's really cheap or if it's still considered overpriced, but then again, only Saitama lives in this building. So maybe he gets ripped off, but since there is a working water system and a power generator. So, I guess not too ripped off.

"As to who I'm paying to. I have no idea. I just pay online, and that's it." Saitama replied. "Would anyone like a glass of water to drink?"

"It's okay; we just need to find a place to stay. You do whatever you need to do yourself." I tried to apologize at the end, only to have Nyarla stare at me with her glowing eyes.

Okay, I get it. No apologizing to Saitama for beating him up.

Quickly, I leave the front door and enter one of the nearby rooms down the hall, the girls following right behind me. Shu didn't even say goodbye to Saitama, who just waved away silently.

Damn, the guy didn't even get a goodbye from Shu, who is his patron. It makes me wonder if she even pays the guy for being her champion in any way, other than maybe making him super strong like his canon version.

I used Boundary Manipulation to create multiple gaps, and various house furniture came out and was nicely placed in the best spots without making the place look too small and messy.

"Oh, this is nice." Weiss praises as she sits in a nice, comfortable leather chair near the living room window.

"It-" I was cut off as I placed Ruby at her feet, only to have her quickly unzip my pants to pull my dick out and immediately start sucking on it.

It didn't help that Nyarla took the opportunity to get off my back, then forcefully grabbed my face and stuck her tongue in my mouth to have her way with my own tongue.

On the side, I see Shouko and Shu looking at us lustfully. In fact, Shu is literally masturbating, not caring that Shouko is next to her.

Wow, the girls got horny on the way over here. Or at least Weiss is too mentally tired to care about what's happening around her.
