With his declaration of war made, the anti-monsters created charged and let out bestial roars on the bridge. "GREAAHHH!"
Xenovia, Irina, Kiba and Xuelan who had paired Unholy Eraser, butterfly swords in hand, took point to intercept the creatures.
Xuelan and Xenovia dived into the ranks of anti-monsters and performed wide cleaving sweeps to mow down the front lines. Kiba took the job of blocking stray blasts on the two women in the front.
"Cao Cao, would you like to be defeated by me?" Azazel took out the dragon gem Fafnir’s jewel, and then his entire body was wrapped in the golden armor of the artificial Sacred Gear, he extended his twelve black wings and rushed at Cao Cao with high speed.
"That would be a great honor! To be able to fight the Fallen Angel Governor recorded in the Bible!" Cao Cao landed on the shore of the Katsura River, his face smiling fearlessly as he raised the holy spear and the front portion of True Longinus opened to release a golden aura which shaped itself into the blade of a spear!
Crash...! As Azazel's spear of light clashed against Cao Cao’s holy spear, violent shock waves were created! This impact created waves and disturbances in the Katsura River, splashing water everywhere! Water droplets fell upon Togetsukyou like a violent rainstorm. As Azazel and Cao Cao attacked each other and carried out their battle, they gradually moved downstream along the shore of the river.
The first priority was setting up the defensive-wall for Asia who was responsible for healing. We placed Kunou with her as well since she is vulnerable. Ingvild stood in-front of the two while Aika and Coriana were behind. Coriana is my acting queen guiding the action of the team on Roshi's back. Murayama's job was to circle the turtle and deflect any anti-monsters that go close or stray blast....I do not need to worry about this group for their defenses are top notch!
I leap into the air along with Irina to deliver ranged attacks at the creations....I seem to be immune to the blasts! Well this makes it easy for me so I follow my gears, nudge and create small balls of energy with my power of creation, demonic power and begin hurling them into the groups of anti-monsters! Normally I can't truly injure living creatures, but it seems since the monsters made by Leonard's sacred gear are artificial souls my blast destroys them as though they are evil spirits! Finally my power can do more than support....
The occasional attack from the anti-monsters hit our group but Asia can heal them instantly.
Issei finally was able to boost up his gauntlet enough to make devastating dragon shots into the packed groups of devil slaying anti-monsters....With his damage and Irina's and my help we thinned them down to nothing!
However, the shadows stirred beneath that kid and created new monsters again and again. To mass produce these things, there must be a limit to stamina and concentration! But the rate this kid is going is way too fast!
"Issei use a gift on me when it is up!" I will throw a Big Bang on them all and wont kill anyone, but Leo will lose a lot of stamina! Issei see's me Creating a big white sphere with a crimson aura around it.
Aika was launching fireballs into the nearest clumped groups to the right, while Coriana was shooting ice-spears into the groups on the left.....Finally Issei pointed to my attack and yelled,"TRANSFER!"
My Big Bang now looked like Goku's Spirit Bomb on steroids and I threw it in-between the two forces on the bridge...It seemed three girls from the Hero faction were coming for a sneak attack and ended up in the middle!
A bright flash of light silently exploded and all nonliving matter in the area vanished from the quiet explosion.....All non-living material was broken down into the atomic components and was turned into a gas, liquid, or dust. The bridge and water as well as all the clothing and gear carried by the women vanished...fortunately the water that vanished also rushed in quickly to break the girls fall.....Every anti-monster was instantly vaporized and Leonardo collapsed to the ground from the sudden backlash of all the creatures being eliminated by my Power of Creation! It harmed his soul as the summoner.
Issei sees the naked women swimming and yells,"Saving to memory! Damn Mat that was awesome! It is an area of effect Dress Break!" No you dumb ass the men would be naked too! And strong opponents can resist it anyway...those girls are just too damn weak.
Asia sends out healing to our teammates in the front to get them ready again. Roshi is watching the three women swimming in shame back to their team.
"I guess it’s time for me to step out." A man made a step forward, and released his swords from his belt,"Nice to meet you. Gremory servants. I am Sig, the descendant of the Hero Siegfried. My companions call me Siegfried."
Xenovia realized something as she showed shock and surprise,"That man is an exorcist, a former colleague of Irina’s and mine. A top warrior in the Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox Church [Demonic Emperor Sig]! He has the same white hair as Freed because they were trained by the same organization. It seems to be the side effect of some kind of experiment"
"Sig! You betrayed the Church, betrayed Heaven!?" Irina screamed.
Siegfried smiles happily,"I guess you can call it betrayal. I now belong to the Hero faction."
Hearing those words, Irina became angry,"Why! Betraying the Church and joining an evil organization leads to eternal damnation!"
"This is making my ears hurt." Siegfried laughed. Sorry guy I feel ya...fighting is better than talking anyway!
Kiba engaged Sig with a Knights duel but he was being suppressed by his superior skills, and a serious expression could be seen on Kiba’s face! Godspeed Kiba’s movements were being seen through. With movements and slashing attacks faster than the eye could follow, the opponent was still keeping up in a composed manner.
Xenovia seeing Kiba was no match alone, jumps in to fight with Sig, Kiba set aside his pride as a swordsman, and attacks simultaneously with Xenovia. "I will join in too!" Irina also entered the battle, forming a three on one situation.
Sig used a second sword to shatter Xenovia's off-hand weapon. That was the holy sword Kiba created. With a sound like that of glass shattering, it was destroyed! Sig had shown his sacred gear and the ability to manifest multiple arms to wield swords and deal with all three Knights at once!
With a flapping of his disheveled wings, Azazel landed in front of the Knights who were caught in a crisis. At the same time, Cao Cao returned to the center of the Hero faction.
As their attacks repeated, they circled back to their starting point? I took a glance downstream at where they had come from -- the ground has turned into a smoking wasteland! Azazel’s armor had shattered in some places. The black wings were also in a messy state. Cao Cao’s, Han Chinese clothing was also torn in many places.
Cao Cao cracked his neck audibly, and said,"I guess these are the servants of Gremory, well known amongst the new generation of devils. We were intending to have a fight without exerting ourselves, but you guys turned out with a great performance. If my theories are correct, the one who gathered this unnaturally strong group is Matsuda Gremory. As all kinds of legendary existences attack, and gather all these supporters. These are all evidence of that. Even in the absence of their King Rias Gremory, you handled the situation and organized the servants with outstanding calmness. Naive and flawed arrangements but a terrifying opponent if you gain more experience in the future." Cao Cao’s spear pointed at me,"That’s why, we don’t intend to make the same mistakes as the Old Devil King faction. We truly believe, in the future, you will become the most dangerous devil. This applies to the other servants as well. If we eliminate you all now, perhaps we may even gather some useful data for analysis."
As we gathered our group, the Hero faction has also shifted their formation. All this time, they have created more anti-monsters when the kid recovered. It really seemed limitless. Also, the Hero faction held back without attacking, but our opponents seemed to be ready.
Right in between us and the Hero faction, a shining magic circle appeared. A crest never seen before.................
From the circle can be seen a girl wearing a huge hat and a cape. It really was the attire of a mage or witch! Her age looked like a middle schooler? Her body was quite slim. The girl turned towards us who had gathered around in a circle, and deeply bowed her head. Smiling radiantly towards us,"Nice to meet you all for the first time. I am Le Fay. Le Fay Pendragon. Please take good care of me."
Issei looks like he is in heat, and Azazel scratches his chin and says,"So Le Fay. Like that legendary witch, Morgana Le Fay? It has been said that Morgana and the hero king, Arthur Pendragon were blood related"
She said,"The very same! And my brother is Arthur Pendragon!"
There were twinkling stars in Le Fay’s eyes as she looked towards me,"Um, um-mm. I-I-I am a fan of Satan Gold! I-if you’re not too busy, can you shake hands with me!" She walked to me and held out her hand.
I kinda look at her dumbly for a moment.....What? The script is all wrong! Issei said what I thought,"Hey Matsuda, I thought she was my fan?! Why is she shaking your hand?"
In my confusion of having one to many hand shaking events I put my hand out and she energetically shakes my hand. Um this is bizarre! She then, like a true fan, lets go and does a pose in front of me and yells,"Satan Gold has COME!" Big G, I think I will die of embarrassment now!....And I fucking see you smirking Azazel!
Cao Cao’s side was also bewildered over the matter. Finally, Cao Cao scratched his head and asked,"So it’s Vali’s side, what’s the matter?"
Without any hesitation, Le Fay responded to Cao Cao in all smiles,"Yes! I came to bring a message from Vali!"
She then does her Vali impression,"I thought I told you not to disturb me!" She then sits on her flying broom and goes up in the air....."That’s the message, so you need to be punished for trying to put us under surveillance"
Immediately following Le Fay’s adorable announcement, the ground began to shake violently! *tearing* It was the sound of something sliced open! Looking towards where she pointed too, the ground had swollen up, as if something huge was about to burst through! Tearing the ground apart and creating clouds of dust, what appeared was.............
"Grrruuuuog!" A massive thing like a giant! It wasn’t clear what kind of material but it was definitely constructed out of inorganic material. Its arms and legs were also huge! That looks like a Stone Golem from a role-playing game I played in my old life! It is at least ten meters tall!
Azazel looked up to the giant and yelled,"It’s Gogmagog! Something like a gargoyle that was placed in the dimensional gap. Floating in a state of suspension in the dimensional gap. It seems to be a mass produced weapon of destruction created by ancient gods. They should all have been deactivated by now."
Le Fay answered Azazel,"Yes. This is one of the strong characters in our team, Gogmagog or Gogzy"
Accompanied by a massively loud sound of smashing, the golem smashed Togetsukyo in one hit! The gargoyle’s attack slaughtered most of the anti-monsters while the members of the Hero faction retreated, hiding on the other side of the river.
Cao Cao laughed in a loud voice, and pointed his spear at the golem. "Extend!" The tip of the spear suddenly extended, trying to pierce the shoulder of the golem! But another voice was heard at the same time,"Away!" *clang*
Knowing what would happen, I took back Ascalon and used my powers to determine his spears path and I made his weapon slightly veer off target!
Le Fay started clapping with stars in her eyes,"That was great Satan Gold!" I smile at this air head but then I look at the Villain faction....
I do a Power Ranger pose and yell,"And now to eliminate all the evil in this world, I summon the Odin slayer! White Rose Canon!!!" Cao Cao is looking at me dumbly but at this moment....
My Valkyrie stepped in front of me and yelled,"I'll pretend you lot are now Odin...TAKE THIS!"As Rossweisse yelled, an unbelievable number of magic circles appeared all around her. There were dozens of them!! "Taste my Norse magic which counters all attributes, all fairies, and all divine existences!"
From the terrifying number of magic circles, a frightening number of magical attacks filled the sky, changed their trajectories, and finally fell upon the Hero faction like a heavy rainstorm! This was unbelievable! Fire, light, water, thunder and magical attacks with all sorts of attributes swept everything aside, and approached the Hero faction! Whether houses, shops, roads or electrical poles, everything turned into ash and vanished without a trace!
Although it felt like the magical attacks were about to hit the Hero faction, Georg, a youth wearing a feathered cape, produced mist from his hand and deflected all the magic! Cao Cao spoke from within the mist,"There are a few too many interferences, it was a fun opening ceremony for Governor Azazel!"
As if enjoying things, that guy announced to us,"Tonight we will be using Kyoto’s special ley-lines and the kyuubi leader, and turn Nijo Castle into a great massive experiment! In order to stop us, please come and participate!" The mist thickened.
The mist that started out beneath our feet spread to the chests and approached our faces. And then slowly, our entire view was blocked by the mist and everything disappeared.
