DxD: Matsuda!

     Azazel reminded us,"Hey, everyone we have returned to the original reality! Put away your weapons!" We were finally back at the real Arashiyama!

     The mist disappeared and we were back at the crowded streets next to Togetsukyou. Other than us, the tourists crossed the bridge as if nothing had happened. The bridge was intact. Things were back to the original world. I exhaled deeply. Le Fay and the big golem were gone.

     *bang* Azazel angrily punched an electrical pole,"Speaking rubbish! Experimenting on Kyoto? Don’t underestimate us, brats!" He is glaring in the direction of the castle.

     Kunou’s body trembled,"Mother! Mother didn’t do anything, but why..." Issei just pats her head.....

     I too look in the direction that Azazel is looking and say,"Cao Cao, your making my resolve to crush you very strong.......Bring your toothpick tonight!........We will dance under the pale moonlight!" My gear is changing?! It feels like it wants too erupt to meet my new goals! Something in my soul wants to come out?

     After the battle at Togetsukyo, we visited Nijo Castle and then returned to the hotel.

     After eating and bathing, everyone was called to Issei's room for the strategy meeting.....

     Irina, all three peerages, Azazel, and Serafall came to the meeting.

     Azazel glanced at everyone and then began. A map of the entire Kyoto area was spread out over the center of the room,"So, let’s start explaining our battle plan. The area centered around Nijo Castle and Kyoto station is now in a state of high alert. All devils and fallen angels stationed in Kyoto have been mobilized to search for suspicious characters. The Kyoto youkai are also providing us with assistance. Though we still haven’t confirmed the movements of the Heroes faction, we have successfully detected an ominous presence concentrating at Nijo Castle as the center."

     Coriana asks,"This allows us to determine that Yasaka might be there?"

     "Yes, from ancient times, Kyoto was a city constructed using the principles of Yin Yang and Feng Shui like a large-scale magic circle. As a result, there are many special power spots, like Seimei Shrine’s Seimei Well, Suzumushi Temple’s Kofuku-Jizo, Fushimi Inari's pine tree Hisamatsu-san and others. Locations with incredible auras are too many to count. However, the flow has currently gone turbulent and is gathering at Nijo Castle. Since they plan on using the kyuubi leader who controls the ley-lines of this city to carry out some kind of experiment. We will use this key point as the basis of the entire plan."

     Azazel then takes a drink and continues,"First are the Sitri servants. Kalawarna will be your person in charge. You will be on guard in the area around Kyoto station. Guarding this hotel is also your job. The hotel itself already has a strengthened barrier, so if anything happens there will be a safeguard. Still if anyone suspicious approaches, you Sitri servants will be responsible for handling them."

     Azazel then looks at me,"Next is the Gremory group plus Irina. I’m really sorry for putting you all on the spot every time, but you guys will be the main offense. In a short while, you will advance towards Nijo Castle. To be honest, the number of opponents and their powers are still unclear at this point. It could very well turn out to be a dangerous gamble. Your first priority is to rescue Yasaka. Once you succeed, pull out immediately. After all, they have already announced they are using Yasaka for an experiment. Perhaps this was the reason why he was so eager to have us involved."

     Irina asks,"Will reinforcements come in time?"

     Azazel smiles at her and says,"Don’t worry, I already enlisted some anti-terrorist experts beforehand. They have been the strongest reinforcements in many bloody battles against the Khaos Brigade. With them the chances of success will be raised substantially."

     I smile at him and ask,"I assume it will be First Gen and Long?" Azazel just gives me a wink in confirmation, this is good news! I only have to stall for time and keep everyone alive....

     Azazel says grumpily,"Finally, some bad news, we only obtained three portions of Phoenix Tears. This is a secret, but now the various factions have banded together, and redoubled efforts to find users of Twilight Healing. Though it is a rare Sacred Gear, it is not unique and our investigations have discovered there were several others apart from Asia. Finding them will be a great advantage as well as denying the Khaos brigade their use. Letting them gain powerful healers will be very unfavorable. However, the current Beelzebub Ajuka has also been carrying out personal research on new ways of recovery. That’s about all I can say. There is also the Grigori research on recovery type artificial Sacred Gears. In fact, Benemue and Asia have been secretly helping out on our research and promising results have been obtained repeatedly."

     I smile at Asia and she blushes, she and Benemue did not even tell me! Hmm how will I playfully-punish my naughty fallen angel?

     "So that’s the situation. These tears will be divided to give two portions to the Gremory team. One for the Sitri team. Please use them with care." Azazel handed me two and gave one to Kala.

      Azazel tells Saji,"You're going to help Matsuda, he needs your Dragon King to restrain Yasaka!"

      Saji says,"They need me at the castle?!"

     Azazel just nods at him and explains,"Yes, that is correct. The black flames can seal the movements of enemies as well as absorb their power. Just like the fight against Loki last time, you will support the Gremory group."

      Saji is concerned and states,"That's not a problem, but I will easily lose my consciousness and go out of control in that state."

     Azazel just pats his shoulder and points to Issei then says,"No problem. Issei will help you regain control like the last time against Loki. Issei, just think of some words to say during that time since you are the Heavenly Dragon, show me how to control the Dragon Kings." Issei just gives a thumbs up but still looks worried.

     "Of course. Outside Kyoto, large numbers of devils, angels, fallen angels and youkai have gathered. In order to prevent the escape of the culprits, a barricade has been set. If possible, it would be best to capture them all using this opportunity." He then stops to take another drink.

     Serafall added to Azazel’s words and continued,"I will be in charge of directing and coordinating the forces outside Kyoto! If any bad children tries to run, the various factions and I will destroy them. Also, I have contacted Sona. They are willing to provide whatever support they can offer." 

     I am happy about this, because this did not happen in the show! I say to her,"Sis, is she really coming to help? And is Rias also coming?" This is interesting now!

     Serafall tilts her head thinking and says,"Yes, I wanted to tell them. But it looks like the time is not right. They are currently back in Gremory territory. There are reports of riots in Gomorin city located within Gremory territory. They have most likely gone to handle that." 

     I get loud and say,"FUCK THAT'S MY HOME!" What kind of bull shit is this?!

     Azazel quickly spoke,"They were incited by some Old Devil King supporters. It looks like there was a group which did not have direct communications with Khaos brigade. Even so, their causing trouble is an undeniable truth, so the girls have taken action. After all, it is their husband's territory. Also, I have received news that Grayfia was participating. Yes, since Grayfia is taking action, those rioters can kiss their asses goodbye. I don’t know if it’s accurate or not, but it is rumored that even Lady Venelana Gremory was present at the scene. Once infuriated, the Gremory ladies are quite a force to be reckoned with." Azazell deliberately shivered as he spoke. 

     "Ara, [The Flaxen-haired Madame of Extinction], the [Crimson-haired Ruin Princess], and the [Silver-haired Ultimate Queen] have gathered in one spot Humph, that will teach those rioters a good lesson." Holy shit those are all my women and now I realize I am fucked in the future! I feel bad for rioters now!

     Issei whispers to me,"Mat, you OK, you got pail all of  a sudden?" He doesn't know how frightened I just got!

     I just said to him,"Nope I was just wishing some fools good luck!"

     "So these are the plans I proposed. I will also search for those terrorists directly from the skies. So we will be starting in one hour. If you find anything suspicious, report to one another immediately. And try not to die. We will protect Kyoto with our lives. Understood?"

     Everyone went to meet in the side lobby that the staff cleared out for our use. Issei is over talking with Azazel and my group is merged and talking about the battle and sharing all of our information with Kyouko about the earlier battle. Everyone is having a small drink and power-bar.

     I noticed Xenovia holding a sword in her arms wrapped in white cloth. Xenovia saw my expression and handed the weapon over for me to have a look. I take it and speak with it.....and after a few moments I hand it back to her.

     I smile and tell her,"Call him Ex-Durandal now! He is ready to be your partner again, and with the new scabbard function, your options are wide open....." I whisper to her some of the tricks I learned from the anime so she can use it during the fight! After hearing the cheap moves learned from season 4, she was so happy and then kissed me!

     The entire Sitri peerage then walks up to our group and I turn and see Sona and Tsubaki in front of me, naturally I give my kisses and hugs and pull the girls to sit down. There is displeasure in Sona's face as she sees Ruruko sit in my lap like Koneko does. Ruruko says to her King,"Matsuda needs a recharge from us before he goes and risks his life, President!" Sona decides in her heart to not scold her this one time.

     I smile and say,"It really does make me happy to see all of you girls. I will come back alive so don't worry and just stay safe yourselves!" All of my girls give me hugs. Tomoe puts her hand out for a hand shake and wishes me luck, oh that's nice!

     To Ruruko's displeasure I stand and give my girls a goodbye kiss and hug because it's time to go for me! Sona says,"Don't forget we will be going to see father and mother soon!" I smile and nod yes.

     Momo shyly says,"Matsuda please be safe! And when you come back, have drinks with us again......." Um? Sona is squinting her eyes at me and I really look guilty...like my forehead is sweating and Momo and I are blushing now!

     Sona smiles at me and says,"Looks like Momo and I will have a long talk after this?!" Momo looks terrified at that statement!

     I put on my serious face now and look into Sona's eyes,"Fine....Just remember it is my fault, and do NOT punish her for what I did...We can talk about it later...I love all of you and be safe." Sona just smiles and nods yes and Momo looks grateful for taking the blame...Well it was my fault!

     I did a head count and we all shared the communication devices and everyone had maps. So now my team heads outside! We swiftly ran to Kyoto station. The Gremory group plus Irina and Saji. This was the attacking team advancing towards Nijo Castle. Yasaka, hold on!
