NOVEL SIMPLE Moths to a Flame! and, Damn so cool!
After I stabilize the emotions of my team, we then discuss the best place to make our temporary Alamo! Le Fay tells us she can secure one floor max with a solid barrier to repel the enemy. So after we voted, it was time for us to head to the center of the hotel to make our base!
The hotel is sixty stories high. We moved to the thirtieth floor, and covered the whole floor with many of Le Fay’s barriers. We had Vali resting in a separate room on the same floor receiving Asia’s healing. Vali had his wounds healed but his curse wasn’t able to be removed, so he was enduring the intense pain. According to Le Fay, she tried using [Dispel] on his curse, but Samael's curse was simply too powerful. As a result we learned it couldn’t be removed that easily. He had received the best dispel there is, so all he could do now was to wait for the curse to wear off naturally. Meanwhile Vali would endure the constant pain of the curse.
When we looked out of the windows of the hotel, we could see hundreds if not thousands of grim reapers surrounding the hotel and car-park area. They covered the ground and flew in the air. I smile and say,"It seems Hades is serious about killing us here and claiming we broke the treaty as his excuse. Well he is just another Loki, a joke of a God. It is funny but I feel no danger from those reapers at all?!" My gear tells me they are no threat to me, well at least in my dragon body for sure. I think if I use touki I can repel their scythes too!
Azazel shakes his head no and says,"Those blades they wield can shave off your lifespan when they hit you. you will die with no visible wounds and just die. Only powerful beings can resist it. Or those with a blessing from God.... Oh! That's right you have both Odin's blessing and your fathers?! Damn this may come in handy kid!"
Le Fay came up to our group looking outside and reported to us,“An official notification came from the main headquarters of the Khaos brigade, [The Vali team tried to do a coup-d'etat by deceiving Ophis and making the organization their own. Ophis was rescued safely by the Hero faction. Terminate any remaining members of the Vali team when found!]" She just puts on a sad airhead smile about it....
I asked Le Fay and Kuroka if they could examine the area from here and they said they would work on it. I see that Issei went to keep Vali company, that is good....
The rest of my team is resting on the couches in the lobby and Kiba is doing warm ups so he can be ready to fight.
Phis had walked around the 30th floor for a while and came back then told us,“Before Samael took my power, I released my power in the form of snakes in another space. That is what I just went to retrieve. So I’m only twice as strong as Two-Heavenly Dragons.”
Azazel just let it out,“Ha ha Damn! That Cao Cao brat said he took most of Ophis’s power, but Ophis released her power into a different dimension while she had it stolen. She retrieved most of it just now and got back some of her original power. And she’s still twice as strong as the Two-Heavenly Dragons in their primes. The Hero faction took Ophis too lightly.” I see, so that's what I saw her do before in the main lobby! Damn that is funny.
Rias asked Le Fay,"Can you use your magic to allow us to escape from here?"
She responded with,“There is a magic where others can leave this space with me..... But the number of people that can come is four at most. Since we performed a swapping transportation with Vali and Fen, I think the barrier on this space became even stronger. I am pretty sure that it is impossible to perform the swapping of transportation once again. I think George knows the majority of the formula used by our magic, so there is only one more chance where I can use a very special transportation from here.”
Azazel then says,“Irina, you will go first. Go and tell the truth about the Hero faction and coup-d'etat of Hades to Sirzechs and the heavens. Then take Xenovia as your guard and see if they can repair the Ex-Durandal.”
I say,"Le Fay I also want you to take Rias and Ravel! Rias you can use your connections to alert the Underworld and your mother will need you at the main house! Ravel will assist you as your temporary Queen, and for political reasons."
Rias shook her head and told me,"No I am going to stay and fight by your side. I can send Azazel to my place." She was going to say more but I gently flicked her forehead and she stopped her words.
I smile and say,"You are very smart my love, but that plan is very stupid and just based on your feelings. You, my wife, are the head of the House of Gremory! You have a responsibility to protect our home. I love that you want to help, but I have all the help I could ever need surrounding us. I will come back in one piece. I promise this. So be the smart woman I fell for and take care of our child and our house. I am pulling the husband privileges rank so do it!" I just kiss her lips and she says nothing.
Ravel then says,"What do you want me to do Matsuda?" Cute, she has a hard time using my name.
I tell her,"Well with the fact they ambushed us openly in the Underworld I want you to make sure that all of our friends and family activate their emergency protocol. I have this feeling based on my dreams and powers warning me that this is just the start for problems in the Underworld. Make sure Rias does not get emotional and keep her steady. Also contact Kala and let her know to watch out in the human world too." She nods, taking note of what to do.
Le Fay hands over a core to Xenovia and says,"This is the core of Excalibur Ruler, my brother does not need it! How about you use all of the Excalibur's to repair Durandal?” Xenovia looks surprised and takes it, this gives her all seven fragments and this improves her mood. At this moment I feel like the world still has strange connections! She just had her sword sheath shatter and will go to Heaven to repair it, then she is coincidentally given the last fragment?!
After a short while of working Le Fay finished her investigation with Kuroka. They managed to find the three keys locking this realm shut, we need to destroy them to be able to let Phis escape. These are the items holding her here.
She tells us,“There is one in the car-park, one on the roof, and one on the second floor of the hotel in the hall room. In total, I have confirmed three barrier devices. And they have the shape of a statue of Uroboros that is biting its tail with its mouth.”
Azazel asks,"Are they guarding them or just leaving them hidden?" He is rubbing his chin while formulating a plan.
Le Fay answers him,“Yes Governor. There are grim reapers gathered at the locations of all the devices. More like they are spread out everywhere except on this floor. They are even present in the corridor. It seems like most of them are gathered in the car park. Cao Cao has already left this place, but Siegfried is here instead. George is also in the car park.”
All of us planners gather and come up with a few ideas on how to handle this situation and what both Azazel and Rias thought of made me and Issei laugh!
Our plan. That is to fire a blast using both the canons of Issei's Triaina's Bishop which are aimed up and down! The locations where the devices are located are the roof, second floor hall, and car park. Destroying the devices located on the roof and second floor separately and then meeting up in the car park would take too much time. Also the enemies might expect that. I will then create an illusion of Ophis on my dragon back like the one Sona used on our rating game and lead all of the surrounding reapers to follow me, then Issei will charge up his blasters again and fire down on the car-park from the hotel room like a sniper! We will then all meet up in the ruins of the car-park.
Kuroka and others will only defend one room with a barrier to protect the non-fighters while our mission is on. Le Fay also has all of her teleport group ready to go after the first two statues are destroyed making it easier to escape. They will be going to the Gremory estate.
Issei puts on his game face and promotes to his Bishop form and aims both barrels of his cannons to the locations described and he narrows the strikes to keep them narrow like my Orbital-laser in width. I put up shields on the group to protect from heat and debris.
BOOOOOOOM!
There are enormous amounts of demonic power blasting out from both cannons! The aura blast aimed up towards the roof and down to the hall! The dragon-blaster violently shakes the whole building.
Le Fay reports happily,“The barrier devices plus the grim reapers located on the roof and second floor are destroyed! With this, the only device left is the one in the car park! Preparation for transportation is complete as well!” Then the light emitted from the magic circle increases, and the light envelops Le Fay, Irina, Rias, Ravel, and Xenovia! They were gone and one last concern for my heart to deal with!
Just before I kick out the window to the outside Yubelluna pulls me into a kiss and says,"For good luck!"
Akeno was waiting and pulled my head into a kiss with her but she just smiled and said nothing.
Azazel sighs and says,"No more goodbyes girls, later you can celebrate! Now go kid and show them the power of two Gods!" He then kicks out the rest of the wall for me to fly out!
I leap out of our defensive barrier and yell,"Balance Breaker Satan Gold Dragon!" My massive gold body expands and catches every enemy's attention, and they see and sense Ophis on my back and it looks like we are escaping! I ignite my body with intense-flames that extend out to about ten feet and slowly burn weak reapers to death when they stay close for more than a couple of seconds.
I take flight to about one hundred feet over the hotel and most of all the remaining reapers rush me to kill me and capture the fake Ophis. Have you ever watched stupid moths fly into a bug zapper? Well that is what is happening with me right now. The reapers think if enough of them slash my body I will die of lifespan loss. However my scales are so thick that the only reapers that can even scratch me are High-class reapers. But those reapers I just kill with my claws or fire breath.
While I am massacring them by the dozens at a go my sniper Issei is taking his aim at the car-park. I let out a mighty dragon's roar to get their attention away from what my buddy is going to pull off!
Then two massive strikes of light traveled from the 30th floor down to the car-park!
BOOOOOOOM!
Because of Triaina’s Bishop’s blast, the car park was completely destroyed without leaving a trace. It is in a state where there isn’t a single place to set foot on, and the ground is cracked and in shambles. There was a lot of dust in the air. Damn so cool!
