Gilgamesh Reborn in Naruto

CHAPTER SEVEN: LEAF CONCENTRATION.

Just sit by the water," Kakashi instructed Gilgamesh, and he did so.

"Alright, I'll put this leaf on your head," Kakashi said as he placed the leaf he caught earlier on Gilgamesh's hair. "Now, focus on it. Try and direct that ball of flame, which is called chakra that you saw in me earlier, to your head," Kakashi continued to instruct Gilgamesh as he got used to balancing the leaf on his head.

The exercise went on for hours, during which Kakashi used the time to catch up on his latest novel. Kakashi asked Gilgamesh to leave with him and continue tomorrow, but Gilgamesh insisted on staying until he caused a reaction on the leaf. Kakashi, being the laid-back ninja he is at times, shrugged.

Kakashi pulled back all his fingers on his left and right hand except for his index and middle fingers and made them touch each other, forming a cross in the process. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Jutsu)!" Kakashi said softly, and behold, a small burst of smoke erupted seemingly out of nowhere, and a clone of Kakashi took its place. "Watch and take care of him as long as you can. Make sure he doesn't do anything stupid," the original Kakashi said, instructing his clone. This new development did not go unnoticed by Gilgamesh, as his eyes widened in excitement. 'I want to learn everything!' Gilgamesh concluded in his mind as he went back to his training.

Kakashi was about to tell the blonde that he should finish his training first and learn how to mould chakra before he could even think about teaching anything further. But Kakashi was surprised at the composure that Gilgamesh expressed as he went back to his training without bothering him, like most kids would after seeing that technique.

"Alright then, this clone will watch you till you get tired. Jaana (see you later)," Kakashi said as he waved at Gilgamesh, and his body vanished from the scene.

More hours passed as Gilgamesh pondered why he couldn't force a reaction on the leaf whatsoever. The chakra he had in his body was enormous, but he couldn't seem to affect or move it at all. It was as if chakra was just a foreign energy existing in his body, while his mana flowed around his body like blood through blood vessels. 'How do I even create passageways for Chakra? I know that I have a main energy source called mana, but my mana is suppressing the chakra I had since my birth here,' Gilgamesh pondered as the night sky drew closer. 'Why don't I just try to mix it, then?' Gilgamesh concluded.

Gilgamesh began to open up his chakra channel and mana channel at the same time. Veins immediately spread across his forehead as he experienced pain for the first time in this world. His mana worked quickly to create something like anesthesia to soothe the pain. His mana began to consume his chakra reserves as pain left his body slowly.

"No!" Gilgamesh said out loud. He didn't want his mana to overwhelm the chakra he had stored in him since birth. He didn't want to leave that to chance since he didn't know how to mould Chakra just yet, and all his memories of his powers and abilities hadn't been unlocked yet. Pain resumed again as his man stopped devouring his chakra but instead began to purify it into chakra energy that was his and his alone.

This means that the chakra in his body is not the same as the chakra existing freely on the planet or within its people and nature. His chakra became subjected to his law and manipulation; he cultivated chakra on a level that the originators of chakra (Otsutsuki clan) could only dream of achieving. In simpler terms, he did not need to absorb chakra from anywhere to increase his supply of chakra in his energy reserves, a level only godlike beings can achieve! Even humans depend on their environment to increase their stamina and energy either through respiration, the sun (indirectly through plant food), the sun directly, or simple consumption of plants and animals. Just because Gilgamesh wanted to cause a reaction to the leaf on his head that he picked up several times because the wind blew sometimes, achieved a godlike feat by becoming self-sufficient in terms of energy creation and manipulation. But still, he could only understand a little of what had just happened.

The Third walked to his window as a masked ninja appeared behind him. "I thought I had a team of Anbu ninjas watching both Naruto and Gilgamesh. What is happening now?! I can feel a lot of chakra in the training forest; did Naruto lose control? I knew I should have just taken him as my son directly, even though that would only put a target on his back. The village must have taken their grief on the little one a little too much!" The Third said as his chakra spiked and cracked the floor.

"I'll go myself," The Third said as he removed his ceremonial hat and robe, changed into his ninja outfit in minutes, and flickered out of the room at that same time.

Kakashi's clone saw Gilgamesh's chakra spike at an absurd rate as if he had a tailed beast sealed inside of him. Before the clone could jump down from the tree he observed from, three kunai hit the branch and itself before it could react. "Thank God it was just a clone." A male masked ninja said jumping down from a tree.

"I am a sensory-type ninja; I told you it was a clone and not Kakashi. He would smell us from a distance before we even approached our target if it was the real one. Now let's quickly decommission the target and take him back to base." Another masked ninja replied; the ninja had a feminine body and long dark hair.

"Alright, no problem-" The first masked ninja was interrupted by a kunai jutting out of his heart and a hand strangling his neck. The masked ninja looked back at the place where the clone was perching on the tree and saw a log of wood with kunai on it. "As expected of the copy ninja," the male masked assailant said as he dissolved into water.
