HIATUS

When it was already 11:00 pm in the evening, Robbie decided to enter the house. First, he brought his car out of the neighborhood and made a portal to discreetly appear on the rooftop of the house he was spying previously. He was careful not to make any unnecessary sounds in fear of being caught. He slowly went to the part of the house where he could see a light going out of the window.

As he went nearer to what he presumed to be the master bedroom he could hear moaning sounds coming from the inside. Hearing the sounds made him roll his eyes. After a few months of him spying he would occasionally stumble upon two people having sex went he was secretly gathering information. You could say that he was used to it, but that didn't mean he wanted to see it.

During those times, he would just spare them a glance and move on, but unfortunately, this was not one of those times. As he steps foot on the house, he could feel the eerie energy originating from the bedroom, where the moaning sound was coming from. To figure out the cause of this, he had to look inside and not just glance.

He went to the balcony of the second floor of the house, he could see that the room was dimly lit due to the occupants only using candles to light the room. It was probably used to add a more romantic feel to the room when they have sex.

"Kora", the man whispers the name of the woman who is currently on her knees sucking him off, Robbie presume that the man is this Conner person his prisoner told him about. Conner then quickly removed some of his clothes that he was still wearing and after that, he made sure to hold the woman's hair as he thrust inside her mouth.

"ah", the man moaned with delight. Before he could climax he brings the woman to her feet and places his hands on her neck.

"I wanna fuck you", Conner said with sexual hunger in his voice.

The woman smiled and she dragged the men to the bed near them.

As the man and woman were having sex, Robbie became perplexed at what he saw. Aside from the beautiful features of the woman, he could see that the energy he was feeling was coming from her and this energy was slowly entering the body of Conner. By Robbie's estimation, this energy was slowly corrupting Conner and there was no doubt in Robbie's mind that Conner would die if he continues to have physical contact with the woman.

Without any further delay, he could hear the words in his head ordering him to kill the woman. It was an order he could not refuse, he immediately entered the house through the window he was using to spy on.

"BANG!", The shattering of glass and the sudden arrival of an intruder stops Conner from climaxing into the woman. He looks at the man who entered his house with anger on his face and shouted, "Who the fuck are you!". Conner then proceeded to get a gun that was hidden under his bed while the woman used the bedsheet to cover herself up.

Conner didn't even wait for Robbie to respond. He began unloading all the bullets in his gun and fired it at Robbie with the intent to kill him.

"BANG!" "BANG!" "BANG!" "BANG!" "BANG!" "BANG!" "BANG!"

He angrily watches Robbie staggering backward due to the bullets landing on his body but then something happened that made Conner's anger change into surprise.

"That's fucking annoying", Robbie said as he gained his balance.

Conner watches as the bullets that were embedded in the body of the man began to burn and smoke. One by one the bullets then fell on the floor.

"clang...clang...clang...clang...clang...clang...clang..."

"Impossible", Conner said as he took a step back due to fright, "Are you an Inhuman??? Did Jiaying sent you!?!".

Robbie disregarded Conner as he looks at the woman that was hiding in the covers of her bed, "What are you? You are obviously not human, so tell, before I kill you".

The woman was shocked at what she heard, she looks back at Robbie and said with a stutter, "Wh...what are you talking about???".

"...I see, you don't know what you are. That's sad but it doesn't matter. You die today", Robbie stated.

"NO!", Conner shouted at Robbie. The thought of losing Kora again is something he won't ever allow. He immediately runs towards Robbie and tried to grab the only part of his body that wasn't covered with any clothing. He aimed for Robbie's neck.

Robbie didn't even dodge as Conner was coming his way. He watches Conner stretches out his hand and aims for his neck. The moment Conner made physical contact, Robbie felt something wrong with his body. A headache that wasn't there previously began to appear, this made Robbie punch Conner so that he could be free from his hold.

"What the fuck was that!", Robbie said as he transformed into the Ghost Rider. You could see that Robbie was extremely angry due to the fire engulfing his skull being more potent. In this form, Robbie was able to counteract the attack that Conner did to him.

"What? How could you still be standing?", Conner responded as he rubs the part of his face that was hit by Robbie's fist. The moment Conner made skin contact with Robbie, he immediately controlled the hormones of his body to attack the brain. The man should be on the floor begging him to end his pain but not only is he still standing but now the intruder has become a monster.

"That's it. The two of you will die today", Robbie said as he grabs the chain that is strap in his body. The chains then began to burn and with it, he aimed at Conner to kill him first.

As the burning chain was heading Conner's way, he was filled with anger and defiance. He didn't want his happiness to end just yet. He finally had the woman of his dreams and for it to end because someone was here to kill him made him pissed. But despite his anger at being killed, he was powerless to stop the man in front of him.

"BANG!"

"WHA!?--"

"BANG!"

Before the chain could hit Conner, a powerful bullet made of water intercepted the attack and a second bullet also made out of water directly landed on Robbie's stomach. The force was so powerful that Robbie was propelled out of the second floor and directly landed in the pool outside.

Conner became shocked at what occurred. In one moment he was going to die and then suddenly his attacker was suddenly thrown out of the room. He scanned the room and he suddenly saw a man that he was sure wasn't there before. The man looks at him and said, "I'm Grant Ward, and I work for S.H.I.E.L.D. Get some clothes and run away from here. My team will pick you up".

Conner just nodded and took some clothes for him and Kora to wear. The two of them then run out of the house leaving behind Grant Ward and Robbie Reyes.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Conner, Kora, Ward, and Robbie Reyes, one man was watching the entire event play out. This man is none other than Zhang Wei. The moment Ghost Rider arrived near the house of Conner, Zhang Wei had already felt his presence near Kora. Fearing that something was happening, Zhang Wei excused himself from his meeting with the Ancient One and Master Kaecilius. He watched as Ghost Rider entered the house and tried to kill Conner. He had no plan to help Conner whatsoever. They only began working together because it was beneficial for both of them. Together they found the location of the Darkhold but now Conner was a liability. And someone wanting to kill him is a delightful news for Zhang Wei.

After he made a fake copy of Kora using the energy of the Darkhold, Conner began to expand his drug trade. He was making moves that would eventually make him known to the public. And this was something Zhang Wei did not want. He feared that Conner would somehow tell people of his existence. So he was willing to let Conner die but now he became annoyed when Ward showed up and ruined a perfect method to kill an unwanted team member.

In his astral form, Zhang Wei decided to follow Conner and keep watch of him. If need be, he will kill him, himself.
