I Became the Mother of Dragons

Chapter 104

Long before the set-off, Dany had told the Unsullied that there are only three kinds of people to kill: Ghis over 12 years old, any wearing Tokar robes, anyone who attacks the Unsullied, women who slaughter, and slaves who slaughter children.

The Ghis who can wear Tokar robes are mostly associated with the slave trade.

Ordinary Ghis, even Free Folks who are eligible to wear Tokar robes, will only wear that kind of attire on a big day.

After all, normally they have to work and support their families.

If someone dares to attack the Unsullied, even a child can be killed on the spot.

Dany didn't forget that 9-year-old Base Whore killed that huge bear with a short sword in a one-on-one match.

This is a different world, not Earth. Even on Earth, there are children who are familiar with guns.

When Dany entered the city, the East City Gate Unsullied also followed into the city.

She then met Ser Jorah and Captain Groleo at the Plaza of Pride.

Ser Jorah Commanded about 3,000 Unsullied to attack the eastern gate, Capitan Groleo with 600 Unsullied and several hundred sailors drove four boats to blockade the docks.

Well, Blackbeard can do this mainly because of the Dragon's help.

The first wave of attacks was launched from the sea. Big Black, Little White, and Little Green attacked the harbor pier. Any ship parked at the pier, regardless of whether it belonged to a slave master or came from a businessman, the three dragons directly burned the sails and ropes on the mast.

Afterward, the White Dragon and Green Dragon also hovered over the sea as a deterrent.

"Her Highness, we have captured the entire city of Astapor except for the Pyramids." Gray Worm and Ser Jorah report to Dany.

"How of the casualties?" Dany asked.

"For the Unsullied more than 30 people were injured, none died, more than 2,000 slaves and 6,000 Ghis died, these are not final numbers, we don't know the situation inside the Pyramids yet," Jorah said.

"Ghis people have such low strength?" Dany frowned.

"There were only 500 Ghis guards, the others are all unarmed ordinary persons, except for the slave traffickers in Tokar robes, many women, and children…"

Helplessly he sighed and said: "The slaves in the city are almost out of control, many ordinary Ghis people are dying.

In those 2,000 slaves, no more than 500 people really died in frontal battle, the rest, the Unsullied killed more than half, and the other half died with a Ghis family."

"We've done our best, Her Highness." Ser Whitebeard saw that Dany's face was not good, and he comforted.

Ser Jorah nodded and said, "Ser Arstan is right, 15 years ago, Tywin did much more damage to King's Landing."

"I understand," Dany said, and began to arrange for the aftermath.

"Grey Worm, the Unsullied did their job well."

"Thank you Her Highness." There was a hint of joy on Gray Worm's granite face.

"Next, you will take all the slaves who have participated in the battle to the Plaza of Punishment. Then you have two orders for your team, excluding the wounded, take three thousand people in a 50-person square, patrol the block, and the other 2,000 clean up the bodies of the dead.

Slave bodies are carried here and are to hold mass cremation for them.

The bodies of the Ghis are piled up in the Plaza of Pride, allowing their families to come and claim them, and bury them as they do in the manner of the Ghis, but they must register for it."

"As you bid!" Gray Worm led the way.

Dany turned around and said to Jorah: "Your 3,000 Unsullied will continue to surround the Pyramids, don't attack."

"As you bid."

"Captian Groleo, You continue as Commander of these 600 unsullied. First, go to the Pier, Find Out which ships belong to Slave-Masters and which belong to the merchants who've come to Asstapor to trade. After that, the goods are also to be classified, as general goods, luxury goods, slaves…."

"This…" Groleo Blackbeard hesitantly said: "Inspecting the merchant's goods is somewhat irregular. Astapor is an open terminal, and there is no smuggling and tax evasion."

"I will not allow ships to take slaves out to sea, do you understand?" Dany said solemnly.

"Isn't it necessary to inspect the cargo in detail?" the old seaman asked in confusion.

"Did my Dragon burn their boat?" Dany asked rhetorically.

"All ships in the dock area have their sails and cables burned." Groleo nodded and said.

"This is incredible!" Dany shrugged, as it should be by rights: "If I don't find out the type of goods, how can I compensate them?"

"Oh, you still want to make up for the losses of the innocent businessmen!" Capitan Groleo suddenly looked toward Dany with a little more respect.

After arranging everything, Dany turned her head and looked towards the Pyramid that belonged to the Grazdan family behind her. Her eyes were firm: "In two days, we must seize this pyramid."

The pyramid is not only the residence of the Good Masters but it's also a material storage warehouse. Eighty percent of the food in the city is hidden in the Pyramid.

Her tone barely fell before a white old man in a robe walked out from the entrance of the first layer of the pyramid.

"Don't kill me, I'm not Ghis, I'm also a slave!" The old man in the elegant white robe shouted with his hands raised and shaking.

He said it twice in Common and High Valyrian.

The Unsullied surrounding the stairway entrance made way for Dany to ride her little silver horse past.

"Who do you represent?" Dany asked in Valyrian, stopping seven or eight meters in front of the old man.

The old man knelt, bowed, and said, "This slave Ethan is a scholar and originally served Lord Good Masters, and now negotiates with the Mother of Dragons on behalf of Lord Cleon."

"Ethan, stand!"

"Thanks to you, Your Majesty." The old man stood up as instructed, his movements smooth and graceful.

Even his kneeling is so elegant, it seems that he is really a learned man.

Dany said curiously: "Cleon is Grazdan's son?"

"No, Cleon is Astapor's First butcher and served the Lord Good Masters before." Elder Ethan said.

"...Butcher?" Dany's jaw nearly dropped.

Ser Jorah, who is wearing uncommon Knight armor, stepped forward and coldly said: "Since Cleon is also a slave, why would he dare to negotiate with the Mother of Dragons who has liberated the slaves? Are you talking about whether to continue to be a slave?"

"No…it's not…" The old man's breath was stagnant, and he flickered: "Ser Cleon just wants to know that if he takes down the pyramid of Good Masters, he can get a reward.

No reward is fine, but although he also has the status of a slave, he has Ghis blood, and his wife and three daughters also belong to the Ghis, so…"

Dany pointed to an amber-skinned Warrior in the Unsullied army and said, "Do you see? He is of Ghis descent too. I'm against the slave system, not the Ghis."

"Oh…" The old man nodded, continuing to look at Dany.

"What else? I will keep Cleons family safe," Dany said.

"Is there really no reward?" the old man asked paltry.

"To be honest, if he really controls this Pyramid, it's fine to ask for a reward, but I do not know what to reward him at all.

Let he himself come down and talk to me, no matter what, I will not hurt him." She said helplessly.

"I understand." Ethan nodded and walked back to the Great Pyramid.

"Cleon's a speculator!" Jorah whispered to Dany, with undisguised disgust in his voice.

"Perhaps still a pillar of skill," Dany said.

With just a few words, the Unsullied Under Gray Worm successfully brought the uprising slaves scattered all over the city. There were men and women, but all were young.

They still wear belts or bronze slave collars, and many have chains around their feet.

Under the scorching sun in the afternoon, everyone in their tattered cloth looked shaken up.

However, when they saw Dany on her silver horse from a distance, they were still excited, shouting "Mother of Dragons", "Long Live the Mother of Dragons", and a small amount of "Mhysa" mixed in.

Dany waved to them with a smile, and shouted through a tin trumpet: "Wait for a minute, and the others will arrive."

"Mother of Dragons!"

"Long live the Mother of Dragons!"

Dany's response, even though many people didn't even hear what she said, still became imposing and they cheered loudly.

"Her Highness, they're out." Jorah leaned over and said.

Dany turned around and saw a group of slaves lined up, huddling out of the tunnel at the bottom of the pyramid.

Different from the uprising slaves, they had slave collars around their necks, but no shackles on their feet. Some are tall and strong, with developed muscle, some were well-dressed, and had well-maintained skin, and others are a group of Maidens, silk-clothed who smell of perfume even from a distance.

And among the servants dressed in silk, several of them looked familiar to Dany, and they should have served her.

The last one who came out was a rough man with black and red hair in a shawl, with dark skin, not like a pure Ghis person.

He is 1.7 meters tall, has a waist of 1.7 meters, and has arms that are thicker than Dany's torso.

However, his eyes are very small, giving a somewhat shrewd feeling.

Dany glanced at the rows of servants standing in front of the Pyramid and was shocked to find that there were almost two thousand people.

More than 2,000 servants serve the Grazdan family, a very extravagant affair.

The butcher saw Dany in the gorgeous Knight half-armor on the silver horse, an undisguised surprise flashed in his eyes, and took a few steps to walk to her, using the Seven Kingdoms Knight etiquette One-knee kneels and said: "Slave Cleon has seen the Queen, Your Majesty, you are more attractive than the moon in the sky, more valiant and formidable looking than Nymeria!"

"You know of Nymeria too?" Dany said curiously.

About 2,000 years ago, Rhoynar Prince Garin attacked the Valyrian Freehold (city-state) south with a quarter million troops and flooded the city with water by calling on Mother Rhoyne, drowning hundreds of thousands of people with survivors dying of greyscale.

The Valyria Dragonlords were enraged, forming a super force of 300 Dragons, nearly burning Rhoyne to ash.

A 250,000 army dispersed into the wind and scattered like fog, and Prince Garin himself had a tragic ending.

The army was composed of dozens of Rhoynar princes, one of which was a Queen named Nymeria (Rhoynar did not establish a unified country, similar to the loose city-states of ancient Greece, the lords of the city-states can call themselves Kings ).

In the process of Valyria's destruction of Rhoynar, Nymeria played the role of Moses, leading hundreds of thousands of people to many places, and finally reached the Dorne territory in the south of Westeros.

Therefore, the full title of a Westeros King is "King of the First Men, the Andals, and the Rhoynar".

Nymeria is a most Legendary heroine of the Seven Kingdoms, a female King.

For example, the Direwolf of Arya (Arya Stark) is called "Nymeria".

Well, that's not a good example, Dany was just praised as better than Nymeria by the butcher!

Of course, with his knowledge, he should not know the customs of Westeros.

"In front of the Queen Your Majesty, this slave is too afraid to lie. In order not to show disrespect in front of you, this slave asked scholars to teach the customs of the Seven Kingdoms." Butcher Cleon said without any fear.

"Well, you're an honest man." Dany nodded.

The honest butcher hit the snake with the stick, and immediately said dishonestly: "This slave has two advantages, honesty and bravery."
